Honest. Straight forward. Fair. Mike will not try to oversell you. He helped my elderly mother with a minor repair and I will call on him if I need work done on my cars. He is patient and doesn’t play games and knows engines, electronics, etc.
I recommend JMC to anyone who asks me about a mechnic. Mike is very thorough, transparent, kind, and sincerely helpful. He has worked on 4 different vehicles for my family over the past 7 years with varying repairs, and all have held up well. Starter, timing belt, control arms, struts, windshield fluid container, ... and several others. It's a small shop so sometimes I can't get in immediately, but once my car is in they work very quickly.
I trust Mike completely with any car repairs I’ve ever brought to him. He’s honest, does great work, and gives you a range of repair options to choose from.

Knowledgeable and very helpful trouble shooting problems. Installed engine in my truck, new AC system, and more. Shop is the cleanest anywhere. The other (Mike) mechanic in shop is awesome as well.

Mike at JMC did great on two of our vehicles, one transmission and one water pump. He explained to us what his diagnosis of the problem was in a way we could understand and gave us a clear budget and timeline for the repair. He did not do any work without first consulting us. It was really nice to find an honest and helpful mechanic as I have just to moved to the area as a college student.
