Amazing nostalgia place, any kind of car person.. it’s worth a visit! Basically a “private tour of the museum” about 60 cars…, so crazy seeing some of these cars in S-Cal 50 plus years ago.. now in a private collection in OK!???❤️
The Hajek motorsports museum is AWSOME!! I have been a car guy all my life. And the many many cars there brung back ALOT of memories. There are championship NASCAR cars, Drag Cars, and vintage gassers, funny cars and A/FX cars. It's a clean, well lit place. And Brent Hajek was a friendly, knowledgeable guy he welcomed us and treated us well. I enjoyed very much talking to him about his collection. I highly recommend it as a stop for any car person. I plan on going back
Stunning little museum near the panhandle of OK. Brent has an incredible knowledge and history of NASCAR, drag, road cars and even trucks! In depth history and unbelievable, but true stories! If you love automotive history, this place is a hidden gem!
Call in advance, as tours are not open at any time. Also be sure to call in advance to ensure the car you are looking to see is there or out for a show. I went for the Ford GT90, and needed to make sure it was there on the day I scheduled a tour.
There is so much history in this museum, it's just mind blowing. The man that owns it is very passionate and a joy to speak with about any detail of any of the cars there. It's worth the trip for any car enthusiast. Primarily Fords there, and primarily racers, but there is a variety, and the GT90 is an obvious standout.
**By appointment only** But it was worth the drive from OKC. Found out Grandson from Va. has taken an interest in racing. So we found this sweet museum with possibly well over 50 racing cars from the 1950s to the present, driven by racing giants! Ronda met us, made herself available and gave us loads of cool info. Out in small town America is this gem!
Mr. Hajek came in and opened his museum for us last minute. This place is amazing and so is Mr Hajek! Thank you for showing us your amazing collection!
Awesome experience seeing alot of history in racing motosports! The owner is an awesome gentleman that will tell you anything you want to know about any of the cars in the museum!
If you are a fan of racing, especially NASCAR or NHRA, then this is a must see! This is one of Oklahoma's hidden gems.
One of the gems is a one-off (read: prototype/concept) of the Ford GT-90. If you want to see this one, you need to hurry as it's scheduled to go to the Peterson Auto Museum in LA.
Although this is a free museum, you should call to set up a time to go through it. He (Mr. Hajek) doesn't have set hours of operations. At least he didn't when we went.
This place & the people (Brent & Rhonda) are awesome.!
I've known Brent for 40 years & he has an amazing collection.
An absolute must see for nostalgic race car enthusiasts.!
