We came to explore Arkansas and drive the many scenic byways. We ended our Taliimena Scenic Byway drive at Big Cedar Cabins. Super cute, clean cabins! Room was ready with cold AC for our relaxing evening. Even had Roku TV so we could watch our favorite Netflix shows! Excellent!

Nice little place. Quiet, cute little cabins. They are nice, clean and definately worth a visit. We will positively be coming back. Thank you Big Cedar Cabins.

Great place to stay in one of the most scenic areas of Oklahoma! Located near the K Trail that goes from Arkansas to Oklahoma and hundreds of miles of off road trails. Big pull through rv sites and nice clean cabins and they even have laundry facilities for extended stays. Its on our bucket list for a 2-3 week stay so we can thoroughly explore with our sxs. Based on what we've seen it might take that long to hit all the trails.

The most excellent service from Sandy! She is so kind and inviting. She really made us felt Welcome, the cabins are very clean and nice and the park is spotless clean! Plus this place literally has the best views in the area! This place even has a small store and laundry mat.

We stayed in a cabin for two people. The space is small but we've stayed in smaller on a cruise ship, so it's all relative. There is a good sized comfortable bed on one end, and a kitchenette with a microwave, small refrigerator, small stove/oven, and sink. There are dishes and flatware provided. The in-cabin bathroom was small but the shower had amazing water pressure and it was easy to get the temperature just right with separate hot and cold water handles. There is a small television which we didn't use, and the A/C is a window unit that did a decent job of cooling the cabin. Parking is right in front of the cabin, so it was easy to unload and load the car. There is a porch with a metal seating; another cabin has two rocking chairs.||The best part of the stay was talking with one of the owners. It is obvious that they enjoy taking care of the campground and guests, and they work hard to make sure everything is running properly. We were personally greeted and shown to our cabin, and then later were given information about a short walk down to Cedar Creek from the campground.||There is a coin-operated laundromat on site; note that there are local residents who use the facilities, but they are careful to leave machines available for campground guests. There is a small gift shop but we didn't go in.||While there is wi-fi available, we found it to be unreliable which was okay for us because our intent was to be disconnected. So if you need wi-fi, make other arrangements to access what you need.||This is a great campground for RV's and Cabin dwellers, and it does have a few spaces for tent camping. It is conveniently located to an entrance to the Talimena Scenic Drive and also 0.25 miles from a JFK memorial in recognition of his dedication of the highway.||And don't miss the Sasquatch siting on property.

We have stayed at Big Cedar RV Park several times now. The owners are awesome and go out of their way to make everyone seem at home away from home. They have the random condiments that we always forget and they have a bath house with 2 showers and 2 bathrooms. It’s very close to all of the SxS riding in the area. We would definitely recommend this RV gem

A quaint resort, clean and in a beautiful location. We were there for a family wedding and enjoyed the resort. No pool, but had many walking and side by side trails through the moutains. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Will plan on going back to explore the area more.

Was very happy with the place . Great decor. Notty pine all through the room including the ceiling. Bathroom is small but nice. Plenty of room. We had two 18 lb dogs and had room for their cage. loved the porch and rockers. It backs up to a creek . Also has a hiking trail.

The facilities were very clean, well kept campground and exceptionally great staff! Sandy was wonderful and very welcoming and accommodating. Jay was also very helpful, and Cory, Aka (The KRX King) was a great trail guide! Great prices as well. Definitely will return!

The location could not be more beautiful. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back some day. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the RV sites were well maintained and clean. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay here. Our cabin was the most recently renovated so my photos are from there, but you should know some cabins have not been as recently renovated so it was the most "new" looking. Some of the other cabins aren't quite as fancy. It was clean and obviously well cared after. The person who helped us was very nice and accommodating. She even let us borrow a hair dryer and have a late checkout which we greatly appreciated. Even though it was over 100 degrees outside during our stay it felt cooler. The trails near the cabins/rv park are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and the ones we road on were probably beginner to intermediate difficulty. There are also some harder trails though. There were a few places with washed out areas that were more tricky to navigate. A lot of the water areas were dryer than normal due to a drought but we still managed to find plenty of swimming spots. There are lots of interesting plants and insects in the area. We saw a lot of praying mantis and walking sticks. The trees are large and the trails smell like pine. We will definitely be back next year!

Very clean bathrooms and showers. Owners are very nice and willing to work with you. The view is great surrounded by mountains and clear creek running next to the site. By far the best RV/camp site I've been too.

The owners are very friendly. Park is clean. Full laundry and showers on-site. Pull through sites are grass, but the ground is solid. There is a creek nearby to explore. You can even rent fire rings! Full hook up for utilities and wifi. They also have cabins to rent. Best park in the area for sure!

Park sites are a little tight but great amenities such as a clean bath house and large laundry. The owner is very nice and welcoming as well. Over all its a good value and fun place to stay.

The grass spaces are close but are level and you couldn’t ask for nicer, friendlier people. The park is well kept, with several cabins as well, and only 5 miles from the Talimena scenic drive. We’ve stayed here multiple times and definitely will be back.

We've stayed at BIG CEDAR CABINS & RV for a few days for the past two years. We have found the cabins have everything we need. Eventually we want to have a Toy Hauler and we would STILL choose to stay here in one of there RV spots. Everyone hits the trails during the day or another activity and then relaxes at night! Each night before sunset my husband and I both commented on the peace and quiet. The owners live on the property and go out of their way to make sure you're doing ok and that the entire resort complex is adhering to common courtesy. There's only 4 channels on tv, so it makes it easy to block out unwanted noise and be outside! Whether around a fire ring or enjoying the great outdoors in your Own Little Piece of Heaven! It is so worth the trip especially during these crazy Covid times. We actually forget it was happening for a few days and felt safe and comfortable. In addition to our enjoyments are dogs loved being there and spending time with us. I can't say enough positives for a great place to stay in the Ouachita Mountains area. Mena AR is about a 30 mile trip with restaurants and shops if it's a rainy day.

We stayed during fall break and quite a few side by side drivers were there, they seem to like driving around for no apparent reason so a little noisy and dusty. Spots are way too cramped, should take out a few to allow more spaces! Quiet hours would help too. Good location for scenery and price/hook-ups art good.

We just spent Labor Day Weekend here and it was amazing! The owner/operator was so helpful and kind! We were given so much advice on things to do in the local area so we were never bored. The entire park was kept up beautifully! There are showers and laundry onsite. It is quiet and we loved how welcome we felt with our 2 kids (12 & 7) and dog.

This is a very nice, small rv park. Full hook-up. Cable limited and WiFi wasn’t available on our visit but we were told it is sometimes (dependent upon usage). ||It was the perfect location for us to set up and enjoy the scenic byway. ||Kurt was VERY nice and welcoming. If ever we return to the area we would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay at the rev park. Very peaceful, clean and restful. The owner was very helpful as we are new to rving. Great walking trails and river nearby. Well maintained shower and restroom facilities. Would definitely return.

Nice place. It's in a little town in a very rural part of eastern Oklahoma so be sure to get all the food you need for your camping trip or feel free to make about a 30 minute drive into the larger towns. Be sure to fill up on gas or diesel when you are 30 minutes away from the RV park. The RV park is attractive and pretty at night. It looks like all the sites are pull thru with full hookups. There's a quiet friendly dog that roams the RV park, I believe he belongs to the owners. The owners live in one of the cabins at the back of the property. They were very accommodating with my late arrival. WiFi is a little slow, ok for general web browsing. As far as the facilities are concerned, they have bathrooms, showers, and a laundromat next to the office. The showers are nice with high water pressure and plenty of hot water. I did 2 loads of laundry the day before I left and had no issues with the washers or dryers. Overall, a very good experience. I would stay here again and I would recommend it.

Very nice RV/Cabin Campground. Very clean, quiet and friendly!! We stayed in a cabin and it was very comfortable. The beds were nice, the cabin clean and coffee was readily available. The only issue was had was that there were no hangers in the room to hang your jacket. Other than that, it was very homey.

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Big Cedar RV Park, and I'm pretty confident it won't be the last. The first stay, in the Fall of 2015, was to photograph fall colors along the Talimena Scenic Highway. The location was very convenient, being just a few minutes from the Scenic Highway and about halfway between Mena, Arkansas and Talihina, Oklahoma. The second stay occurred when I came to the area to photograph the Perseid meteor showers. Both of my stays were pleasant in this quiet, clean, well maintained RV park. I did not see the inside of the cabins, but they looked immaculate from the outside. The owner was very pleasant, and offered assistance with any of my needs. I highly recommend this establishment.

My husband and I have stayed here 2 or 3 times as we come down from Stillwater to enjoy some motorcycle riding along the tallimena drive and other scenic drives in the area. It is an rv Park, but they also have several log cabins available. They are basic, but very clean and comfortable. The site is beautiful and perfect for accessing the rides in the area. Price very reasonable.

We had great time Memorial Day weekend 2016! Hosts/owners are incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. Restrooms were much cleaner than I had expected, and the tent camping area in the back was covered in near perfect grass. Bags of ice for sale were a huge help!

Beautiful place nested in the heart of the mountains. The owners are very kind and have a true desire for you to enjoy your stay. Security minded as well. The owners even gave me assistance and supplied some tools for me to deal with an issue I had concerning a rock in the wheel of my truck. Talk about going out of your way, I was impressed. They sure helped to make our stay an enjoyable one. Seems like every time I turned around one of the two owners was asking if there was anything my wife and I needed. The RV Park is dog friendly and they have a large area for your pet to enjoy so as not to be cramped in the trailer or cabin. Their pet, camp dog Rusty, is very playful and interacted with our dog. The atmosphere was serene. The grounds are VERY clean and well kept. The location is right by the access road needed if you plan to cruise the skyline drive. People in that general area as a whole are very friendly and accommodating. We plan to go back for sure.

Stayed here in late October right as the leaves were starting to change. Intended to stay on a Saturday night and called on a Thursday, not expecting vacancy due to the fall foliage, however we got lucky and they had just had a cancellation. With prices as low as $85 a night for a cabin, you'd be a fool not to stay! We booked our room and went on our way. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner, Kirk and the trusty camp mascot, Rusty. Our cabin was amazing, with a great rustic look, however very comfortable with modern HVAC systems, WIFI, and satellite TV. Cabins had a front porch with rocking chairs that made for a great evening. I'm very happy with our stay and will be definitely coming back.
