Checker Wrecker responded to my need when others would not venture off the paved roads. They had me send pictures to help plan my recovery, and fee. Allan called on the way and arrived as scheduled. Once on site he tenaciously fought through challenges to get me back on the road.
Very helpful staff. They allowed me to transfer my title and opt out of paying the tow charges. I wrecked pretty bad and they were understanding of me taking time to go get my belongings. The staff helped me move all my belongings and cart it all away.
Super fast response time. Allan was amazing. He checked everything out on our Lincoln MKX, is very polite & informative on his findings, loaded our vehicle up quickly, told us about repair shops, people to speak with, directions & much more. Allan goes above & beyond. Definitely your go-to-guy. Thanks for everything, Allan. UPDATE: Allan called the next day (12/13/25) to check on us & for an update on our Lincoln. Got locked out of my vehicle on Base today. They were able to get on base with out me having to come escort them on which was convenient and quick to come out and unlock my vehicle. Also very cheap. Thank yal very much.
Genuinely one of the worst experiences on my life.
Imagine this; you are fresh out the hospital, your wallet is stolen, your car battery dies, and you use your entire body to push it the best you can into parallel parking. You desperately google how to get it fixed and while at home trying to figure life out it gets towed. So now you are a full time student, low/no income with dependents and no support of any kind, and you officially have no way of going to work because that car was your work.
You call, find out it got inpounded because in the year of flooding 5 times to the point of unlivable conditions, death of a family member, health crisis, food insecurity, etc, you did not notice your registration expired. If you move everything to one bank you have enough money for everything. You get told it's cash only. You worked at a hotel, cash only means debit card or cash (no prepaid or credit), so you ask to see if this is what they mean. They give a very snarky answer with absolutely no empathy behind it even though you just found out you just lost your entire life plus you had been nice and calm (using your own customer service experience).
Remember how your card got stolen? This means two things; you either wait the multiple weeks for a new card so you can get cash, or you just straight up cannot get cash because no a single atm here has a functioning tap button. There is literally no way for you to get your car in time to keep your only source of income, which is your only hope of feeding, sheltering yourself, or even getting your car back. Your health is bad and your doctor says if you bike or walk you risk damage to organs because you do not eat enough to support exercise or physical activity. You do it anyway. Multiple times. In hopes you can get more clarifying information. Nothing comes of it. In fact you end up in worse financial standing.
And somehow your doctor tells you suicide is not the answer and this is meant to ve encouraging. And I still have no car. Wasted very limited income to get my paperwork situated and it still isnt enough because I can withdraw cash and therefore can't pay the fee. And your therapist has the absolute audacity to say suicide is a permanent solution to a "temporary problem," and meanwhile the problem is VERY CHRONIC.
I genuinely have lost the will to live at this point and I'm really just waiting for the courage to free myself. I'm sick and I'm tired

Needed my car yowed to a shop and didnt know what to do, but checker wrecker saved the day and showed up within 20 minutes or less and took the car no problem. Allen was the one who showed up to tow it and he was super nice and helpful answering all of my questions! Five stars!
Checker Auto Salvage should really "check" their inventory before claiming to have a part in their inventory. And yes; this is 'after' I called to confirm it. This problem is primarily caused by two factors: a.) Leaving an old listing on car-part.com for months after that vehicle has already been crushed. and b.) By their own admission, "Sometimes the guy crushing the cars records the VIN and sometimes he does not." I visited in mid-July only to find out that the vehicle that I was looking for had been crushed SEVEN months ago! (January)
Good towing company just didn’t appreciate the tow truck driver calling my girlfriend a stripper when he dropped my car off to me at my work… (she’s pregnant and works at sonic) (he was making fun of the money she used to pay for the tow with her tips)

Today we had what I thought was an impossible task of moving our semi truck out of our yard. Shane pulled up and made it look easy. Super cool guy and he knows his stuff. Wish I could leave him more than a 5 star.
Absolutely the best auto services in the area. From parts to vehicular mishaps, they have the service you need. Lockouts, recoveries, towing all at great prices and record speeds. All super nice folks and they will take care of you when you need it most. They deserve ALL the stars.
Absolute worst experience EVER. I signed the tow ticket never saw a spot for waiver of if something happens to vehicle . The guy literally ripped off my exhaust and ruined my front and rear catalytic converter. Also when he hooked up to my tire to pull it out now my tire is squealing will be getting that looked at too. They said they will not help with any of the damage. He should of called a backup tow truck for help instead of damaging my vehicle this much. Will NOT be using them ever again. Do not recommend.
I've bought a ton of parts from them and have spent thousands bought a transmission for my 2011 f250 with a 30 day warranty.($1500) Payed to have it professionally installed for it to slip contacted the owner (within 7 days of purchase) he stated he'd make it right and get me a transmission or get me my money back. I've called 30+ times since he still hasn't got back with me and it's now been well over the 30 days since I've talked with him. I have left countless messages with his staff without receiving a single call back.
Christopher was extremely diligent in his duties in towing my wife’s van to the dealership. Great attitude and very knowledgeable. He was patient while my wife and I decided whether or not to have the van towed, and was agreeable once a decision was made. We never felt rushed and were treated with respect the whole time. Overall, one of the best experiences entrusting my vehicle to someone else. NAM worthy performance!
We've called them a half a dozen times for our store, and they never show up. Then they always get super mad at you if you call someone else after they haven't shown up in days, like it's your fault they're late with no update and outside the time frame they have you. Call priest brothers, they at least show up.
They were swamped and still had our vehicle towed home within 3 hours. Chris called as soon as he was heading to get the car and dropped it right where we needed it. He was quick, efficient, and polite. The price was super reasonable. I highly recommend them if you’re ever in a bind.

I had an excellent experience with Checker Wrecker! My Toyota Tundra 4X4 was stuck in the mud, and they responded within 15 minutes. Needed a car towed from a shop and scrapped on a Saturday. They come out quickly and assisted without any problems. I've used them in the past and have always been pleased with their service!
Talk about a great experience. I needed both halves of a 2 piece oil pan and all of the bolts. The parts were washed before they were shipped. Very well packaged, and in excellent condition. I have used a lot of recycled parts, this place is top notch. I will definitely call on them in the future.

I had purchased a Truck from the City of Lawton and needed a (Tow) wrecker service to load it on the trailer since it could not be started and I’m 1200 miles away, I contacted Checker Wrecker & Auto Salvage and setup a time frame of when the truck needed to be loaded . The people in office were outstanding and took care of all my needs. The Tow truck arrived on time and performed the work quickly and effectively. They sent me pictures of the loaded truck too! I was even able to pay my bill online at their website. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that need a tow service. I surely would use them again and defiantly recommend them. This place is great! The owner is cool, I love looking through all the car and trucks and they usually have the part I need and they pull it for you. I’ll be back, I have a list. But, check out those headers, valve covers (we painted them) and intake manifold on my truck - thanks to y’all!
