L&A Wrecker service has top notch staff! We broke down in OKC off of Interstate 35 with a truck, horse trailer and 4 horses back in April. Their team not only picked us up in a timely manner, but directed us to getting a place to keep horses over night, dropped the horses and horse trailer at a safe place then continued to bring our truck to a shop in Norman! The next day they came out and helped us get our horse trailer lifted and went above and beyond making sure 2 ladies and a kid felt safe, had everything we needed! I would 1000% recommend this company to anyone in need of towing or any of the other services they provide. Trey and Tyler were the ones who helped us but everyone we spoke with over the phone including the owner helping out went over and beyond!!
My son locked his keys in his truck in Norman - I called several locksmiths and got quotes for over $100 (some $170) to unlock the truck! One company, who was super busy recommended L&A Wrecker - They were there in 30 mins and charged $70! They were friendly, quick and least expensive. Super happy with them!
So I guess Bob (owner) is a hot head who can't be bothered by customers. Tried to ask a question and he got an attitude and down right hateful. Like taking my money is an inconvenience for the business hes in. After a brief conversation he wanted to fight me in the parking lot. He had several of his guys in the parking lot trying to intimidate me. Lol, this guy and this company shouldn't be in business and highly dont recommend anyone use his service because your pain and inconvenience for him to show some grace and humility to customers.
I’m at L and A towing my registration is in my car I was denied access to my car I have the money to get the car out but I was met with a racist woman who was no help I’m a truck driver I have to get back on the road I work a hour away I’m just trying to get my car out please
So, a person from this company lifted my vehicle wrong and messed up my vehicle. I am a single woman with no family in Oklahoma. I was very upset and scared since I needed to get to work and did not have a way. Also, I am used to men taking advantage of me when it comes to mechanics, tows, etc. I spoke with Zach, and at first, we did not agree with each other; however, after he got in touch with the mechanic where my vehicle was located, he called me back and apologized for the tow truck driver's mishap. He reimbursed me for my bicycle and accessories I had to purchase to get me places. He also paid for my vehicle to be fixed since the mechanic confirmed that it was due to the tow driver. Further, he offered to buy me a rental. I ended up getting my car back before a rental was needed, Praise be to God. Thankful this company took care of me.
This company took advantage of our family in a time of crisis while the driver was in capacities and unable to provide the documents needed (while they were also in the vehicle.) Family members were devastated by the events that lead to the hospitalization. They would not allow use of their bathroom and contents of car were missing upon looking for them. When coming back into pay the company blocked the entry with a desk.
This is a great company and the customer service was amazing... A group of very helpful people in the time of need, when I needed my vehicle towed... I truly appreciate the service
The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. For starters, the lady that worked had absolutely no clue what she was talking about whatsoever. They were beyond rude and disrespectful. TERRIBLE ZERO STARS. Next day when I went with new staff was absolutely, no better. Legit took my student ID as verification, but wouldn’t take a photo of my title my parents sent when I’m a student and the car is under my parents name.
L&a wreckers sucks. Why do you make it so difficult to get a car back? One employee says you need one thing and another employee says you need more proof. Also kindness is free. Yall don’t even deserve one star.
Great response time at 930pm!! Dispatch was super helpful and knowledgeable. Our driver got my friends car out of a very big ditch with no further damage to the car. Highly recommend these these guys!!
Called for a non-starting car, response was prompt and helpful. Jason even tried to start my car before towing. Ultimately needed the tow; Jason happily gave me a ride back home. As far as car trouble goes, about as positive an experience as one can expect. Thank you, Jason, and L&A!

Used to like them would always use them but after these guys started cutting people off in traffic in quick second and flipping me off I am over them and will never recommend them again, please watch out for tow trucks cutting infront of you! But if you wanna let people get seriously hurt that’s not a good look and it’s pathetic some of the guys you have working have no respect towards anybody but themselves. All these people have horrible attitudes worse than a 16 year old girl
So, my car broke down earlier yesterday afternoon. I called around to check just how much it would be to tow point A to point B. They were the most affordable option! When I did finally schedule them to come pick up my truck, we had to change "point B" and they were completely understanding and very flexible!

They came and unlocked my car for me within 45 minutes of my initial phone call the technician was very fast and kind. It was very affordable. I will definitely use them again should the need arise !
I am more than pleased with the services provided. After waiting 2 and a half hours for roadside to be told they hadn't been able to find anyone I called L&A and they had someone out in 15 minutes. Christian was extremely polite, very helpful and more than courteous. 10 out of 10 do recommend will be using them again.
L&A Wrecker Service is a great company. As a business owner myself customer service is #1 in my book. That being said my Service Tech Robert was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. Traffic was through the roof and he kept me posted of his status to my location and arrived in a reasonable timeframe considering the circumstances. I greatly appreciate your time, effort and service. I highly recommend this company I will definitely be using your company if I need a wrecker. Thanks again Robert.

L & A Wrecker Service was super helpful & knowledgeable. We called for their services 3 days in advance. We hired them to help our company load a damaged mobile home Toter. We drove all the way from Louisiana and had to count on their services once we arrived in Oklahoma. They were easy to communicate with and made our trip worth it. Thank you for being so kind and professional.
The receptionist was very nice and took care of us quickly. We didn't have to wait long to get access to my vehicle. The driver that let us in to the yard was so nice and patient while waiting for us to get our belongings out of the car. He also retrieved a screwdriver for me so my license plate and frame could be removed. Very impressed with this company.
Our vehicle decided it was time for the transfer case to grenade. I called L&A around 8pm last night to haul it to the dealership for repair. Their driver showed up in 30 minutes, was polite and efficient. Made short work of loading up the car, hauling it off, and unloading it. I told him he made it look easy...his response "it is easy!". Made things a little easier for us, considering what happened to the car. Thanks L&A!
Nick was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The whole company was so understand. After being assaulted by two men at Quality Towing, these guys where amazing in getting my car off their lot. They picked me up to go get my car and were extremely professional. They were quick and so nice. I would recommend this place to anyone!
I called to have a non-operable vehicle towed to my house. The dispatch lady was very rude from the beginning, but eventually, she decided a dated receipt from the day prior was sufficient evidence that I wasn't towing a vehicle that still had an unpaid bill from the shop. Understandable, but who wants to be treated like a criminal for trying to get their car a mile down the road? If you say you will accept the receipt, than politely honor your word, or else politely refuse to until the shop reopens on monday. This rude lady was a delight compared to the driver though.
When the tow truck driver arrived, boy was that a treat. In the process of getting the vehicle home, which was literally about a mile, he mentioned several times that he would rather just take it to the junk yard. I'm glad that wasn't his decision to make! I asked him why, and he told me "because it's a f***in' clown car." He also kept telling me the city of Norman would impound it because it doesn't run, and "because it looks bad." I explained that it is black tagged and in a private drive, and he told me it doesn't matter. Hmm, I wonder if I can guess who called the city if and when I do get a notice. I realize people have different tastes and varying levels of knowledge about vehicles, but this has no bearing on getting the job done. I would even use the word threatening to describe the conversations with this driver. Certainly, I cannot call back and let them know unless I want my vehicle vandalized by this angry individual.
When it was time to get it off the truck and into it's parking place, it apparently wasn't as easy as he wanted it to be, and he told me "I'm going to have to call another f***in' driver!" He was not happy when he came back, as there were apparently no available drivers to help. I'm not sure what two tow trucks in a tight space would have done for us anyways. We pushed the vehicle together, and luckily he was gone in a matter of minutes after that.
To make a long story short, you should probably just call another towing company if you don't want the souring experience I described above. If you do find yourself in a pinch and needing their services, you better hope the driver likes the looks of your vehicle. If he doesn't, don't foolishly have him tow it to your house like I did. It was too late for me, but hopefully someone heeds this warning. I'm sure this isn't the end of this episode for me. I will post more if this continues to unfold.
If a friend with a truck would have been available, I would much much much rather have towed it home myself with a towing cable than do business with L and A Wrecker again.
Update: just posted pictures of my "f****n' clown car" described in the review. What an iconic vehicle. It's fully operable now and insured for 30k dollars. I hope you guys are embarrassed of your clown drivers. What a joke.
Read all the reviews people. It's easy to see the pattern. It goes like this: customer posts review explaining how terrible and unprofessional this place is. Next, the owner posts a sarcastic, passive-aggressive apology detailing how it's the customer's fault. Sprinkle in a couple of paid, fake reviews, and then repeat. Unbelievable.
They were nothing but professional! I was in an accident which wasn't my fault. Chris showed up to take my car. He checked on my son and I and made sure we were okay before loading the car. He let me know every step and what to expect next. When we went in the next day to look at it and get my stuff the staff was friendly and Chris took us out to the car. When I called them about releasing it to the insurance they were friendly, made sure they had accurate information, and offered to call me once it was released. This is the best wrecker service in Norman and I would recommend them time and again! Thank you L & A for being so great!
Customer service is respectful but not very helpful or forthcoming with valuable information. The posted document detailing Oklahoma law regarding the claiming of impounded cars is out of date.
The dispatcher was polite and efficient, and driver was extremely nice. I had to ride along to the mechanic and even the truck cabin was clean and comfortable. Pricing was reasonable, I got the minimum charge for such a short trip, with no gimmicks.
Highly recommended all around. The only less-positive part was waiting on the phone on hold for about two minutes, but the hold music was really good.
