Nice guys. Junkyard was actually organized. Counter dude was cool, guy who helped me the yard was great too. Found me what I needed. Solid price. Bonus I didn’t have to pay extra to take a look at my part like I’m at Youngstown U pull it, great experience here.
Whoever the short guy is that indealt with today. He is a dirt bag. NOT only did he get very aggressive with me. He has no idea what he even has in his yard. Never dealt with someone so clueless. Tells me I need to go search for the part on the transmission in the canyon he has. The truck didn't even have the transmission in it. He is very lucky I don't respond to aggressive behavior. What a clown
Parts are yet to be tested, but the experience was overall pleasant. The yard is very clean for a junk yard though a little tight. Everything's packed in there as tight as they can fit. All of the staff that I had met were really calm and down to earth. The price was definitely right as well. That is why I made a 4 hour trip to visit this place. If it weren't for the distance between us issue I would become a repeat customer no doubt.
Sign is faded but I've always got good used parts from them.quick friendly service.i would definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to keep theyer car on the road
Great prices, variety of parts, outstanding service. The owner stayed 10 minutes past closing so I could get the part I needed...and it was a trade in...he didn't even make any money for it. Thanks Bob Karl's...great job guys
Wish I could have given him no stars Bought a ac compressor off him. The thing had a hair line crack in one mounting bolt holes. Wouldn't take it back and called me and my mechanic both liers. And top things off got loud and smart with both of us. Was crazy expensive of price. I am out 90 dollars. Atleast he could have offered half of refund. At the end day I wont buy another part off the guy.. Good luck if buy something from him buyer beware.
The girl at the front desk really needs a attitude check.. She was real moody then said they would have my part that day . But didnt get it till next day. On top of the lateness they sold me junk parts . Got to control arms and one of them the boot was slit and was packed with rust. The bushing were worse the the ones i replaced. I wont ever shop there again... Got for over $200.
The older girl that's usually always behind the counter at Bob Carl's has a very nasty attitude about herself, I don't know if it's with all the customers or just me as a customer there. So I was far from being welcome as a customer in this establishment.
Excellent place for auto parts, the girl at the counter knew exactly what I wanted and knew exactly where to find it. The experience was great and I got in and out in a matter of 10mins. Thanks Bob Karl's for having what I need everytime I go there
Never go to Bob Karl's they only care about money and not their customers at all. I bought a window switch and it took them 30 minutes just to bs and take their time to get the part out which takes maybe 2-3 minutes to do. I was patient and polite while I wait for them to do their job. I spent $40 on the part and when I got it it didn't work. I brought it back in literally two minutes later and they told me I couldn't return it even though I had the sales slip. The said they couldn't return it for the labor put in. All they did was bs and mess around for 30 minutes and pull apart out that takes two minutes and say it's $35 worth of labor. You don't wanna go here it is also expensive and I just needed the part because it's hot out and I wanted to simple luxury of my windows to work. Even the man that took the time out to pull it and did all the work said I should have got my money back. Never go to Bob Karl's they only care about themselves.
I bought an alternator for my 04 Hyundai Elantra from Bob Karl's Auto Wrecking I asked the woman what happens if it don't work cuz I was kind of wondering because it came from a different car she told me bring it back and I could get the other one on okay awesome I work on my car in the pouring rain first 3 hours and then 2 hours the next day cuz I had some trouble getting on and only lasts for 3 minutes I called the lady told her the situation and she said okay I can bring the old one back so I asked her can I get the new one other one and she said it will take a while so I said okay I'm going to put my work gas money and my van to come up there and bring it back well I be able to get my money back she said yes so I come all the way up there and the guy had the other alternator off and I said well I just put all my gas money in my van to get here now I have no gas for work I would have never came if you did not tell me I'd get my money back then the guy was ignorant and was like there's no refunds so I left went down the road called them asked if I could just bring this back and get my $5 core fee and she said no because of the alternator is tested from them and they know it works so I can get my $5 core feet while they were making a $50 profit off of it and I was making nothing off of it but $5 in gas that I'm me and then I asked if I could talk to the guy in charge and she is like hold on and they're talking and she's like okay bring it back and get your $5 core fee so I asked to talk to the guy I told him how he screwed me and my family over and he said how and I told him his receptionist told me I could come back and get my money and I could come back next week when I get paid to buy the other one and I think it was pretty damn rude.shouldnt of told me I could get my money back so I hope this one works or I'm definitely screwed
Check here first for parts! Excellent service, correct description of parts, and fair pricing! These guys have been at it a long time and will treat you right the first time!
Reasonally close to Rt.82 by- pass ,friendly staff,prices seemed fair to me, can return stuff if incorrect. I plan on going there again for more parts.
They sell you cracked parts and refuse to return parts when they dont even work . Worst junk yard ive been into my life . Parts werent even used and still wouldnt return
They do not stand behind their warranty, will never do business with them again. The part I bought wasn't even 2 weeks old it broke and they wouldn't replace it but instead made excuses as to what could have happened. It was only a $40 part would not have broke the bank for them to have some customer appreciation, instead it comes to this. Bottom line I would not recommend doing business here there is plenty of others in the area that will treat you right.
