Terrible experience from start to finish.
We didn’t even call this towing company ourselves — the police called them after our truck broke down. They didn’t respond the whole day, left us waiting for hours with zero updates, and when they finally showed up, they charged an outrageous amount. The price was way too high for the poor service we got.
It honestly felt like they took advantage of the situation because we had no choice. Totally unprofessional, irresponsible, and overpriced. Would never recommend this company to anyone.
Awesome experience needing a heavy tow. Driver Ron was extremely experienced with getting an old dump truck that has not moved for years hooked and ready to tow. Even with running into issues he would find a solution. Once he arrived at our property he backed it in right where we needed it. I would highly recommend this company for your towing needs.
Last Friday, 8/29/25 at 1130am I followed their huge yellow 12 wheel heavy wrecker doing 90 mph going west on the turnpike near the airport exit
90!! I couldn't even keep up with this guy! Never a cop around when you want to see one!

P.S. they are pricey because they charge based off of the toll companies rates but they do work with AAA, thank goodness my sister had it. That saved me $317!!! So if you do not have AAA GET IT NOW you never know when you’ll need it
Terrible drivers. Honking at people that are at red lights turning right. Impatient with everyone on the road. They should be more patient especially with their line of work. They expect people to move over and pass with care but then they’re acting like a child at a red light laying on their horn. Wish I could have gotten a video of the ignorance. I’ve never left a review ever and this was a huge disappointment. I hope you retrain your employees.

Unreasonable pricing. Charged 850$ + tax to winch on the truck. No one contacted me to make sure we need them but once they need a payment. Would never pay double price.Do not recommend
Blew a turbo on Turnpike. Wrecker driver was excellent. I had shop repair truck. They started on Thursday and I was out by 5 on Friday. Great communication with shop.
So this will be a long review but worth the read. I was towed on a Thursday for a blown turbo. Spoke with the office and was told they can check it Friday or Saturday. Those days came and they couldn’t get to it. Monday came they started working on it and was told it needs a turbo and a new cooler which cost another $1300-1500 I told them just leave the old one and they said no. Either they clean it and charge me 3-5+ hours to clean or get it new. They told me for a week straight the truck would be ready tomorrow but tomorrow came and it was never fixed. Then they tell me oil was in the engine cylinders so that’s another 7 hours of labor to pull some injectors out and suck the oil.. then after all this it’s been about a week and a day or 2 they say it’s ready the trucks blowing smoke but it’s left over oil that has to burn. They said they took the truck for a test drive. So once I hop in and drive it around I’m losing power engines sputtering and now there’s a chirp coming from the engine I drive it back to the shop to find out it was never test drived. They assure me they did there best work to have it running. The truck stays another day at the shop and they said they did a compression test and now one of my cylinders came back only working at 25% efficiency and that I might have bent valves. I decide to take it back like that and take it to my own mechanic who then does a compression test to show me the engines healthy lots of run around but left me with a $7k plus bill
I have a fleet of rental cars. One of my customers got into an accident and I had to contact Interstate to clean out my vehicle. After getting my release form, they had me wait for almost a full hour, and 3 phone calls before someone showed up to open the gate for me. A gate that is located only a few buildings down from their office. Horrible service.
I broke down on the off ramp of 480 east and rt 82 today the coldest day of the year. 9AM. -4° my car was not running at all=NO HEAT
I am from Cleveland so I had no one to call to pick me up that wouldn't take at least an hour. SO I'm sitting in my car
I AM LITERALLY FREEZING. I call Interstate, super sweet dispatcher answers and in less than 15 minutes I see the bright yellow truck pull up!! 15 minutes!!! The driver Mike (#64 I think) was amazing ushers me out of the frigid car into the tow truck pumps up the heat for me then hooks my car.
We have a fantastic chat on the way to the shop. He gives me some stellar advice on my car and the shop that I knew nothing about because again I live 40 miles away.
A1 service I will never call anyone else!!!

Was in desperate need of a tow due to my tire coming off idk how but with the help of a Chesterlamd office he was able to get in contact with this company and the tow truc driver by the name of Scott came out and saved me he did everything he could to get my car up on the flatbed considering g we didn’t have the tools needed to put my tire back on. And seeing this was at wee hours in the morning I couldn’t be more appreciative for the office and this tow company
This guy Mike did an incredible job. I'm not sure which location he is based out of but they usually send from Warren. Could have been Twinsburg. Anyway my driveway is long, hilly, curvy and awful in the winter. I don't even get deliveries here in the winter but a FedEx came down my driveway by mistake and got stuck. (Note: your GPS is wrong!! I swear people never read signs anymore!) This guy Mike showed up with a little one ton truck and I thought, how is that little truck going to pull out a big FedEx beached whale but he did it, inch by inch, millimeter by millimeter. He knew exactly what he was doing, he was smart enough not to try and rush it because one false move and that FedEx would have ended up in a ravine and taken my light pole with it. I should add my driveway was solid ice. I can't speak highly enough of this guy. If there is such a thing a a master tower, he's it. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 just because this company Interstate has the bad habit of telling you 25 minutes when you call and it always takes them at least an hour and a half. This time it was a good 2 hour wait. Granted in this kind of awful weather a wait was to be expected but then don't say 25 minutes. I think they do it on purpose not to lose business but I don't like it. But the tow itself was top notch.
Truck #25 came to get a tire off the hub that was stuck. He was courteous, professional and went above and beyond by repairing my tire and remounting it. I am sorry I did not get his name. I am so grateful to have avoided an auto shop visit and the cost of a new tire. Thank you for wonderful service. I highly recommend Interstate and specifically, the service provider in Truck 25!
Service was incredible. Understanding and didn’t make me feel stupid for locking my keys in my car. Fred came out in about 20 minutes, and unlocked my car in less than 2 minutes. He was careful handling my car with his equipment, and made sure I was in a safe range away from his equipment. Wish I could give a 10 Star review, 5 for the company and 5 for Fred. I’ll be using them in the future and recommending them to everyone!!!

My daughter called and said her tire was flat on Route 8, i drove to the location and she took my car and I started to change her tire. Going good until the tire wouldn’t release off the hub so I called Interstate towing and they arrived earlier than expected, Delbert from interstate assisted in getting the tire free and added air in the donut because it was low. Very quick service and Delbert was quick and efficient in getting me going, when you need their service they should be your first call!
I got a flat tire on the side of 271 going downhill around a curve, a less than ideal location at night. I only had enough time to get the jack and spare out of my trunk before a driver from Interstate pulled over to help me change it. I wish I would have asked him his name but this was on 5/8 around 9:30 PM. Thank you for hiring kind and considerate people!
Interstate provided a quote and advised about an hour to pick up the vehicle. after 90 minutes i called and was informed they pulled my truck off the job. no phone call no update no apologies. go elsewhere if you need reliability.
My Semi broke down on me 4/30/23. Interstate towing not only fixed my transmission, clutch, fly wheel housing etc. but they gave me fair prices even though I was 540 miles from home. Jay the owner never took advantage of me and work with me to get the truck back running. I flew in to get truck, the truck was fixed the right way. Drove it back 538 miles no leaks and shifting like new. The building and equipment were clean and organized. You can tell Jay treats all of his employees good. Front desk lady was very friendly and patient. We took a test drive before he took payment. The entire experience was appreciated. Thanks for caring about the truckers Interstate Towing there aren't a lot of people like you all out here in this industry. I will always refer your business and come back if I'm in the area!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The administration is VERY unprofessional and rude. My truck was police towed and I was told everything would be free for me but when I drove 3hrs there to pickup my truck, they told me it was $250 CASH ONLY just to get stuff out of my truck and $600 CASH ONLY for me to haul it way myself. Nobody told me that before I drove 3 hours. My truck was there for 3 days, 1 of which was a holiday and they charged me for 4 days. It is very concerning that it is CASH ONLY!!!!!
We called the person twice said that we need to call back to check pricing. We called back and told them to meet us at Jasper plumbing in 1 hour. They gave us a choice to be there in 1 hour or 90 minutes. And then when I called back they acted like they had no clue. What I was talking about? And apparently there is just 1 person working there. So I'm not sure how that is very unprofessional and would not recommend to anyone else.
Rescued me when my stupid car 's tie rod broke right in the middle of an intersection. My driver Michael was not only quick, but extremely, extremely kind. He went above and beyond. Definitely adding Interstate Towing to my phone in case my car's stupid again.

The only reason I'm giving them 5 stars is because that's as high as I cam rate them. After getting some run around from a roadside assistance subscription service that will remain nameless, the guys at interstate responded. They came out to where we were parked and assessed our problem. The driver called the owner directly to tell him our ordeal of having bad brakes in a 34 ft motorhome. On top of that, we had been strong around for hours and our campgrounds were booked through the next 2 weeks.
He said to come on and he would squeeze us in.
We drove to the shop and they took us right in. The techs stayed well beyond their shift, replacing all of brakes, two calipers, and a rotor. Their thoroughness discovered a tire that would most likely failed at some point on our trip causing a dangerous situation for us. The techs and staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Because of their great customer service, thoroughness, and willingness to stay, we are now safely back on the road. And considering the time and amount of work done, I'd say the price was pretty darn reasonable. Thanks to all involved we are now safely on our way and will make our scheduled stops. Many thanks to Interstate. 10 out of 10, highly recommend for your heavy vehicle service and repair.
