Selling my vehicle through Cash for Cars was a mostly painless experience — the initial transaction was smooth, and the staff I spoke with were helpful. However, the process of scheduling the vehicle pickup was frustrating. Because this is a large operation, there are multiple departments involved (sales, dispatch, and the towing yard), and the communication between them wasn't great. No one clearly explained the steps after the sale, so I was left confused about what to expect. I was told the car would be picked up on a Monday, waited around all day, only to be informed later that it was still in the queue and might be picked up the next day — while I was scheduled to be at work. Clearer communication about the pickup process would’ve gone a long way toward making the whole experience better.
Stay away from Cash For Cars! They offered me an inflated price and every time I spoke with someone from their company, I was on the phone forever as they verified information again and again. When it was time to schedule the pickup, they claimed that they spoke to the garage where the car was located and said that the garage was 'unsure about my car'. Unsure about what, I asked? They wouldn't elaborate. Come to fine out, they never called the garage. Then, they changed how the deal was going to work and that I had to send them both the front and back of the title showing my signature. What? At one time, the representative claimed he couldn't hear me (I wasn't on mute at all) and said he would call back. He never did. At that point, I was done and went with another auto salvage yard.
Absolutely a trash company. If give it no stars if I could. Total garbage. I was told multiple times that I would get a couple thousand for my car. I even started to go through the process of selling. The next time I called they told me the highest offer they could give me was $400 and completely changed their last couple offers. They lady I spoke to didnt care. Avoid this hellhole like the flu.
It was hard to trust your company. Communication was bad at the start. Did not appreciate the Indian call center. Wasn’t sure the whole thing was not a scam until very late in the process. In the end it worked out well.

Only downfall was not getting a smaller window of time than 8 am to 5 pm. I could have been able to go look and purchase a car, but I had to wait and the car sold.

Was told they would call an hour before showing up. Driver called from my address saying he was there. I had to rush to leave work so he wasn’t waiting around. The driver told me that I owed money for them to pick it up over the phone. I said that wasn’t correct. He was to pay me. He seemed confused. When I arrived home, he had it figured out.
He was very helpful and underatanding but the towe service can't give u any time Frame that's not good for someone that works 2 job and lives by herself I'm here to wait around all day

I was very pleased with the service that I received. I had an old truck I needed to get rid of. They took all the hassle out of it.You call they give you a good price.Then they come pick the vehicle up. Give you the amount of the offer. Done and over couldn't ask for anything easier thanks again and when I need you I'll call again.
