Resource Metal Recycling is a full-service ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycler conveniently located near I271 and Route 82 in Macedonia, Ohio. We are open to the public and accept all types and quantities of scrap and unwanted metal items including precious metals.
RMR offers a convenient, clean and honest environment. Our all digital scales are certified regularly to ensure accuracy. We purchase both large and small quantities of scrap material from the general public as well as trade contractors from the siding, plumbing, electrical, and other service industries. We also provide pick-up and container service for all types of industrial clients.

I’ve sold scrap metal here multiple times, and each time the employees have met me in the parking lot and helped me unload. They’re always really friendly and pay well for scrap. It’s super easy to get in and out of, and I like that it’s right off the highway.
It was my first time going to a junkyard with a lot of scrap wire, and the employees were very helpful. They made sure to weigh everything in front of me and gave me a fair price. Honestly a really great environment and I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.
I have been coming to Resource Metal Recycling for years now. This is the cleanest operation I have come across and I go nowhere else for my recycling needs. The parking lot is paved and clean (no nails or debris). The employees are consistent, kind, and courteous. As soon as you pull in and park there is an employee ready with a cart or loader to help unload with a smile. As a bonus there is also a resale shop for some items just too good to shred and recycle. This is such a nice operation that I never hesitate to bring my young children to observe and pet the cute shop dog that's hanging out behind the counter. Just a great business and business owner. Don't think just go recycle here.

Great staff! Very friendly and helpful. The facility is one of the nicest I’ve been too out of the scrapyards I’ve been too. Fair prices and I walked out with a nice chunk of change and a great experience.
Good place and there are nice people working there. The price for metal scraps I bring isn't too high, definitely not covering efforts for brinning it.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I came across this place with a simple google search, looking for a scrap yard close to my work. I had some pretty bulky stuff, and they accepted it with no issue! Joe was actually brainstorming how to get a dumpster dropped off for me to make it easier, but we opted to continue with the way we were doing it. They helped unload what I had, and the process was smooth from beginning to end. I had to take a trip to PA to do the same work, and the scrap yard I went to out there was SCARY. So I actually brought my second load back with me and took it to Resource the next day! The shop fur baby, Remington, absolutely made my days better! My dog fell in love with him, and it’s like he grew up there, too! Everyone is absolutely wonderful and I will be using this place forever. I highly recommend them to everyone.
I’ve only been here twice. Both experiences have been nothing but love from this company. The decor they have set up at the front desk alone is pretty sick. If you want to trade your scrap in for some good prices with friendly people, then this is the place to go. From my last two experiences I can gladly say this is going to be my go to place to take my scrap every time.
Been coming here for years and I can't say a single bad thing about it. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they have a "thrift shop" with a bunch of stuff that you can purchase very cheap and the best part is the "junk yard" dog Remington.
Neil made it very easy for me to unload my small amount of scrap. My small amount of scrap had many different types of metals, Neil separated & paid me well! Neil & his team are great to work with. I highly recommend working with Neil & RMR!

In Cleveland I've found the best recycling center around. I would consider it a moral failing on my end if I did not tell other Battery Installers and Cell Tower Techs. It's a simple business that you pull right up to, they help you with your metal and batteries against your will. The people are intelligent and willing to take on as much work as you can give them. They sweep the parking area and run magnets over it so we'll never get a flat tire from them and every transaction takes less than 5 minutes. They pay in cash or will set up a check system with your company. I just appreciate people that make life easy.
Oh yeah, even the price given to me is higher than the average I usually see. You literally can't go wrong.

Was on the search for a new place and decided to give this a try based on good reviews. Needless to say it was an excellent experience and will be the only place to go to now! The employees made the process so fast and simple! They were so helpful and very kind. Meeting Remington was a joyful surprise, got to love shop dogs! The building is well kept and located in a good area. Highly highly recommend!!!
Awesome Facility and Staff. Called them up to see what materials they could and couldn't take, all parties involved were super helpful and accommodating. Drop off was super easy thanks to their location right off the highway as well as being located in a large lot leaving plenty of room for driving a large box truck through. Shout out to Neal for working with me directly, super nice guy, couldn't have done it without his forklift driving.
First impression is it was well set up,a gentleman came out and helped me load my items out of my vehicle. Well organized and Super nice. Everyone was very friendly, and the atmosphere inside was very welcoming.
Best part about that place is the dog! The jacket was perfect!
