I was broke down a couple hours from home and needed a tow in a bad way , I had done lost 2 days work over being stranded . Called Triple A and hit a lottery in the pricess. Thier driver tells me that they just started up a garage and was starting to do repairs as well as tows . Talked to Eric on the phone and he said they would do me right . I know Ted's Towing service is impeccable, has been for some years now . Eric who is a former teacher at the Scioto county vocational school worked diligently on going to work almost immediately. Had to wait on a part until the next morning no fault of thiers , they tried looking in thier graveyard but didn't have everything. Overall these guys are very professional and hometown friendly. Ted , Eric and everyone else at this establishment are A class people , and treat you like family. I would recommend them to anyone needing not only a tow but for quality service I'm sure your not gonna get just any where else . Thanks again Eric and Ted you guys done me right and that goes a long way with this old country boy.
Had to get a tow today from Teds Towing and the Driver quicky found my location and was courteous and was very knowledgeable on my problem. If you ever need a tow, give them a call!
The driver was courteous and was fast getting there and made sure that the car was properly loaded and off of the truck. Very great experience with Ted's towing & auto repair. Would recommend them to anyone who needs towing
I've used Ted's several times with AAA. My latest was for my daughter at 1am. I'm not sure of the drivers name. Maybe Dave. I called at 1:05 am and by 2:30 my car was in my driveway 10 miles away. They are always quick, friendly and take care not to further damage your vehicle. I will always use them when possible.
Chuck came out and grabbed me up after ybe clutch in my truck went out. He arrived within 30 minutes of the phone call and was awesome! 10/10 experience great company!
These guys are AMAZING. It was probably the fastest response to a AAA call for assistance I've ever experienced. The driver, I think his name was Chuck, was really polite and helpful. Chuck and the people here at Ted's really went above and beyond to help keep me from being stranded on the side of the road in a remote area that I'm unfamiliar with. My vehicle broke down, and AAA jerked me around; but Ted's Towing made sure I didn't have a worse day/night than I already had. I'm hoping I won't need to, but if I ever do need a tow while I'm in the area, I'll be calling Ted's directly and cutting AAA out of the middle. The only reason I'm getting to write this review from the comfort of a bed in a familiar place this evening, is because of Chuck and the rest of the great people at Ted's. Thank you Chuck, and everyone else that was part of my crazy evening. I appreciate you all so much.
My vehicle was and accident and Ted’s responded. They have been friendly and helpful while the insurance companies have been taking there time. They allowed me to get my items from the truck and assured me they will continue to help me.
They are right on top of things to help when in need..when you call they are usually quick and professional..the only thing I had a problem with was that my wife locked her keys in her car and they wanted to charge her 45.00 to come unlock it for her and she was only a Mile away from them...other than deciding to unlock the door myself do to the ridiculous price,,they are a very good place..
Will recommend Ted's to anyone. They have some of the best drivers, towing rates. Their trucks are all either new or very well maintained and they are quick getting to you.
I have AAA and usually when I request service Ted’s Towing is dispatched. They are always courteous and helpful. I had to call AAA again on Saturday 5/13/23 and they were dispatched again. I was so amazed that they arrived in less than ten minutes from the time I submitted the assistance request. I was expecting a big delay on a weekend but they were there is just minutes to help me get my tire changed and on my way home. Great job as always.
Everyone was very nice and professional. Made a bad experience as good as it could be. Hopefully I don't ever need them again, but if I need a tow, I wouldn't call anyone else!!!
I wish I could remember my drivers name BC he deserves all the credit for the great service I received. He was fast, friendly, and made my business feel just as much appreciated as his service was to me. He didn't mind that he had an hour and a half drive home after getting us safely home and never made my car problem come off as an inconvenience to him. Thank you Teds towing for having this guy on your team!
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! Inconsiderate workers. Made me pay an extra days storage because it was "Too close to quiting time" at 3:40pm for them to process out my vehicle. Being as they close at 4:00pm that seemed a little bit rude. And when asked directly if they were basically forcing me to pay the extra day the response was "I guess so." Couldn't be more disappointed and hope no one uses their services if given the choice.
John was awesome. Was at my location quicker than estimated time from AAA. He took care of my vehicle like it was his own and got it safely to repair shop. Completely professional. Definitely recommend.
Responded promptly and was able to tow my vehicle & give me a ride home as well. Friendly and professional. The final bill was ridiculously high but price gouging seems to be the norm for tow truck businesses as a whole
First time when they got my son's car due to a wreck I was very upset. The lady acted like we was dirt in the ground being walked over. I was upset cause my son was 2 inches from dieing and we was an hour and half two hours away. 300 to get his car that day 25 dollars a day. We know we can't get the car now we are struggling just to make it by like most of us. We left there and the next day I realized my shoe was in there Nikes only pair I got..but next day after that I decided to call them to see if I could have my son get it and his necklace I brought for his 18 bday hanging in the mirror. When I called I explained what has happened that day to letting her know that I needed things out, I want to thank her for being so friendly and trying to help every way she could. I went from a 1 to 4 star for her.
Honestly never been more impressed with a service of any kind anywhere. My tow driver was so kind, quick, hard-working, and determined to get me where I needed to go on time—and just was a super cool person to talk to. Really felt like I had an advocate on my side. And the office woman with billing was such a sweetheart! Having to have your car towed should not be a fun experience but it was strangely a highlight of my week because of how wonderful they all were. 100% would recommend to anyone.
I needed a tow for my son in Portsmouth and i am near Cincinnati. It was Sunday morning. Ted's answered first ring, got him squared away in around an hour all before having any payment info from me. Total charge? $50 including tax. WOW!!!! Great business!
I accidentally locked my keys in my truck when I got home from work that night. They assured me they would be there after daylight, since truck was in my drive, and was there and had it unlocked first thing. Also cheapest rate around. Nice family owned business.
Ronnie what's the driver and was very very confident in his work. Very kind guy and very very helpful. He does a swell job. At Ted's towing thanks to God I I had a wonderful experience with him fixing my car.
My truck broke down while I was at work. I called my insurance company because I have roadside assistance. My roadside assistance didn't amount to much, I was going to have to pay a lot extra to get towed home, I had to stay with my truck (estimated pick up was 4hrs after my work closed), and I couldn't ride with the tow. A coworker told me to call Ted's. From the beginning of the phone call they were super nice, she apologized for everything that was going on and proceeded to tell me they can be there in 10mins, I could ride with the tow, and was A lot cheaper than what my insurance was going to charge me. That was the best experience I have had with a tow company. The ride back home was like I knew the guy all my life. Also I'm not a local where I work. I travel 50 miles one way to work. I will always recommend Ted's towing to anyone that needs help.
We got the pleasure of using Ted's towing unfortunately 3 times in a matter of 2 days.... 1st thought we ran out of gas and Arnold came to our rescue unfortunately it wasn't the gas moments after he left and had to call back and 2nd time
We got Tim which was absolutely GREAT to have conversation with... Then second day 3rd time we got to use again because our daughter locked her keys out of her car and John came to the rescue to help!

Excellent customer service, I accidentally locked my keys in ny car at my friend's house at 2:00am. I called ted's and they were at her apartment within 20 minutes & had my car open before I got outside of my friends apartment to pay them. The young man who came to assist me was very polite and courteous.
I was on my way to move to North Carolina and had everything packed in my car when my engine went out about an hour from home. Ted's had someone to me quickly and the driver, Ernie, was absolutely amazing. He was very professional and also incredibly understanding and caring as I cried about my situation. I couldn't have asked for a better person to show up! 10/10 would recommend this business!
Super fast and extremely knowledgeable in about any and everything when it comes to having car / truck or any other type of vehicle problems, No matter if you lock your keys in the car or need a tire changed or need quick jump, or need that tire replaced!! They can do it, No Prob!!
If you find yourself and that Car Wont start no matter the prob, or if ya run out of gas, which seems to happen a lot with me and my circle of friends and family a lot!! Lol

Needed a car towed around to the back of my home where the garage is located, as the starter went bad and needed to store it off the street to work on it. Called Ted's - great price quoted and the driver which showed up was very professional and polite. He offered to help push it in to the garage after dropping it off, to which I stupidly declined. After about five minutes of fruitless pushing, I called the driver back and took him up on his offer. Fearing rejection as had already left, he agreed to come back! Very impressive customer service. I will always call Ted's for all future towing needs.
My fiancee and I were driving along when the u joint went out of my truck!!! We were stuck in the road on 125 with no service. Luckily we walked down the road and were able to get 1 bar. Just enough to call Ted's they were there within a a half hour or less wow!!! I would like to give props to Matt and how professional he was with everything. The price was very reasonable as well. We will definitely be calling Ted's for any future problems!!!
