Absolutely a scam location! Spent $90k on a truck, had it shipped to us and nothing but mechanical issues from the start! Contacted this dealer right away and zero help even though we were sold a complete POS lemon! Do Not Trust these guys at all! Rhett is a shuck and jive salesman without ANY support. Nothing he promised (new fluids etc) was even done before shipping. Illegal Bypasses on exhaust system was rigged together so it would drive when it arrived….before we figured it out. We have out only a few hundred miles on it and it’s being towed again. Nothing but a mechanical nightmare from jump

Ordered a pto pump drive from the website that very specifically said it fits my exact transmission and it wasn't close. That's not the bad part, they say I'm responsible for return shipping AND 10% restocking fee!!!!!!???? Are you kidding me Vanderhaggs ????? So I stopped in here Tuesday to purchase a replacement window switch unit for my 2019 Peterbuilt 579. Walked in and there was one customer at the desk and 3 employees.one asked to help me so I told him him what I needed, and had the original in my hand. He looked in the computer and told me he had 2 430 dollars, which he claimed was half of the dealers cost for new. that was the good news, but unfortunately both were still in the trucks out in the junk yard. I said great, and said I'll wait while they go get one. He said it doesn't work like that, and I asked why? He informed me there was a 2 day wait. I said look. It takes 2 minutes to pop it out of the door with a screwdriver, he said no. I offered to do it myself. He laughed and said no. I said look I'll give ya the screw driver to use, won't take but a minute and he said no again I had to wait two days like I was asking for a turbo or something. Woulda paid the 440 since my Wii down was stuck down. He wasn't budging in going to get it even though there was only 2 customers in the building. So I left and called Grove city. Bought a brand new one for 540, a hundred more than his used one. Something so simple to do cost y'all a 440 dollar sale. But I'm glad it did since it turns out your valuation on used parts is way overpriced. Wish I could afford to turn down 440 dollars for 5 minutes work. So if you are reading this know that I guess if you need a radio knob or a antenna or lug nut cover there is currently a 2 day wait to make a purchace. And double check with the dealer. Odds are you will find that new isn't much more expensive than used at this place. Apparently they already make so much money nobody needs to go the extra mile even if ít involves something simple. Buyer beware.

I had to call into Vander Haag's to locate a part & ended up speaking with Brad. After giving him the description of the item, we still weren't able to locate it. So he used a VIN locator to track down the actual model of our truck (which was different than the actual title). He used this info to track down a couple different options for us & even encouraged our mechanic to text him photos to ensure that we had the correct bolt pattern. In the end, the price was right but the service was exceptional so, we thought we'd let it be known!

My company purchased an engine, originally picked the engine I wanted, salesman pushed me to get a different one. After almost a 13k investment, get engine that was EGR deleted (not what we wanted) they said to go ahead and install as is. Engine looked great, even came with a brand new turbo assembly attached, after install the truck was on the road for a whole 3 DAYS, then boom, the turbo blew up. Spoke to customer service, they don't warranty turbos, and now refuse to warranty anything with the engine. Only thing they offered was to SELL us a new turbo, BUYER BEWARE!!! They just want you to spend spend spend. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN! As a shop manager with a fleet of well over 400 trucks and pieces of equipment, I'm sure I can spend my money elsewhere.

I ordered two Fairing skirt pieces that goes before and after the tool box on my Peterbilt. They took dam near a week to pull the parts. I ordered them on a Monday to be exact and here it is Thursday and still no confirmation on weather the parts have been pull yet so I called same day which was a Thursday and tell the guy Keith if they can't have it in the mail by Friday, (which was tomorrow), I would have to take my money elsewhere), he inform me that he'll call around to see what the delay is. Friday come, we have progress, they got the parts pulled and generated a tracking. Tracking updated that Monday stating that both pieces that were sent separately but together would arrive on Wednesday. Only one part comes. Tracking then updates to later that day at 7pm to no avail, to the next day, to no piece at all. So Thursday comes, I call Keith back because I didn't get my product which they could see in there system, he tells me it had came back to them and that they're working on resending it back out to me, cool. Thursday no tracking was confirmed, Friday no tracking was confirmed and now I have to wait until Monday because they're closed on the weekends for a tracking to be confirmed. Monday finally arrives and a tracking number is generated and the part makes it to me cracked and chipped up, now I k ow the part are used but I clearly asked Keith to make sure parts aren't damaged before he send them to me which he clarified they weren't but Here it is I have a damaged part that's just a waste of time sending back. I took pictures too. Smh

I called the Des Moines location and talked to a sales rep... I ordered a driver's door for my semi, to replace a damaged door.. it was a door that was actually located at their London Ohio location...and during the conversation, I asked him if he would pass along a request to leave me as much of the wiring as possible, I wanted a really good pigtail coming out of the door for the electrical side... I really didn't think this would happen, but I thought I would ask anyway... The very next day, I called the London Ohio location spoke with a different sales rep, and asked him if it was possible for him to see if there was a key to go along with that door. It is the same key as the ignition, and I wasn't even sure if the door had already been taken off and boxed up and shipped away by that point, but he said he would look into it.. getting the key for that door would definitely save me some time in not switching the locks from my damaged door into the new door... I did not hear back from either sales rep, nor did I necessarily expect to, but what I expected to be delivered was a door that didn't have hardly any wires coming out of it and a door that didn't have a key... It's just the way my luck goes,.. but I have never done business with vanderhag's until now... And to my surprise, this door was extremely well packaged, as well as there was so much wiring coming out of the door, it actually included the plugs, as well as a key tied to the door handle... I was so happy... These two sales reps on both ends, ( I wish I could remember their names) in Des Moines, and London Ohio, we're absolutely as patient on the phone with me as you can imagine. Very helpful, and it seemed they were very happy to be where they are... If I ever need parts again, I will not hesitate to do business with these people again.. so extremely professional..thank you so much

Ive had a few guys talking of Vaner Haags Inc. for parts. So I figured I would check it out. I Orderd a assembly on a Friday Paid an extra $48.00 to have it delivered that following Monday. Called the 1st time told that I was to receive a shipping refund. Called the man that sold me the part, Dave gave me a story of UPS doesn't guarantee shipping since Covid. I know UPS does indeed guarantee there shipping on time! I received parts with them on a weekly bases. I sure do not appreciate being lied to! Very disappointed and unprofessional! I will not be ordering from Vander Haags!! I'll stick with North American Diesel!

The guys here are great. They helped me get a part for my Mack roll off that I've been looking for for 2 months. Reasonable pricing and fast shipping. I will definitely use Vander Haag's again.

I had a really great experience with these guys. I had some cab extenders for my international shipped from a different location, and unfortunately, two of them got a little damaged in shipping, or were misrepresented by the original yard. Nevertheless, one was easily repairable, and another was in much better condition than my current one, so we were able to make a deal on the price that was satisfactory, and I was treated as a valued customer. Really great guys here! They even help me load them in my truck, since I had to figure out a way to finagle these parts into the bunk while controlling a dog at the same time. I would prefer the parts didn’t get damaged, but sometimes that’s the way it goes.

Bought a turbo charger for my tractor trailer, had it replaced and it didn’t last 30 days. Amanda braam informed me that I would have to buy another turbocharger and wait up to 4 months for a determination if I would get my money back on the defective model. How is this ok?

Ordered some parts online, there was a lot of help, they had it delivered to a local outlet to save a lot of money on shipping costs for me everyone was very nice and very professional great place to find your parts for your truck.

I had purchased interior parts and had them moved to a closer location to me for pickup. There was an issue with my order, but the manager (I regret not recalling his name) was very helpful and transparent in assisting me to remedy the problem, and we came to a solution exceeding my standards. All persons I interacted with were pleasant and knowledgeable. Will be a repeat customer.
