Bad people Not good business do not buy anything from them. They send you the wrong part and it will not be working and they will not get it back from you.
They were very helpful, and polite. They already had it pulled when I got there. And they have the best prices in town. Thank you very much for your service to the community.
Traveled 45 minutes to location, to pickup engine assembly. Staff was great, very friendly, no issues with transaction. Was advised the Warranty was 90 days, cool. Engine in question was as stated, for my make/model. Block was complete, fuel rail cut/smashed, exhaust was acetyl torched off, harness was cut at connectors, all of which I didn't need. The heat exchanger/oil cooler hard lines were bent, unfortunately. Installed engine before testing (my fault), found it had low compression on 3 cylinders. Removed, contacted SH Auto to warranty out, and got a newer engine the next day, with very little friction from staff. Overall positive experience, aside from doing the job twice. I can only fault the Yard for not performing proper testing, and having listed "good" in description. I'd advise you to test before installation. I would buy from SH Auto again, being weary of their testing. They made it right, that's what counts in my opinion.

Maddie greeted me with a smile and recognition from the last time I was in and they took care of me just the same. I was in and out quickly with a fair price and excellent service. Very unprofessional. I called to ask about prices on some parts for my vehicle and the lady working there was very rude and hung up the phone while I was in the middle of asking a question… I called back to ask for a manager and a gentlemen answered who claimed to be the manager but refused to give me his name and told me “Do whatever you need to do” and hung up when I mentioned I was going to leave a review. Based off previous reviews I wasn’t surprised with my experience on the phone with this business. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Will take my business elsewhere where we are appreciated.
I would give this establishment zero stars if i could. Drove 6 hrs to pick up a transmission. Upon arrival we were informed that the transmission bell housing is cracked. Apparently it happened when it was pulled down and placed on concrete. A respectable place would have contacted us and saved us some time. When inspecting it the employee dragged the transmission on the ground across the oil pan. They were still willing to sell it at a 150$ discounted price. What a joke!
I’m not even from Columbus. 2 days ago I had to drive a hour there after I called an they said they had part that they lied about having so I drive back home.I call the second day they said they got it so I drive back up here to the shop for them not to have it then the workers wanna act like it’s my fault. 0 out of 10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY SPEND THERE MONEY THERE
I just wanted to say, that I purchased a VW radio from them today and they were very accommodating and concerned about retrieving the code for activation. They are very personable and I have used them repeatedly for major and minor parts. Never have I been disappointed and would recommend them to anyone. I feel like family there.
Worst place in city told me they had part sent my wife to get it she drove hr to get there to be told it was double the price that they told me I call them they told me a different price then they told her then they say we have to see if we have it then after 45 minutes they don’t have it was hung up on when asked for manager then manager could care less trust me don’t go here ……… You don’t need to find it hard to believe the old man with the glasses the manager is the guy that did the bull so don’t try and get on here and call me a liar do better at not lying to your customers and then calling them a liar

They are a bunch of dirty thieves. I called and asked them for a price on a part and one guy told me $500. I figured that I would call back before I drove to pick it up and they said that I was lying and that it was gonna be $1200. And then they gave me to another guy and he said $1000. Never buy from here they will try and cheat you every chance they get.
It was my first time going to this location, Mr. Don is the representative that I dealt with him and his colleague Jackie were absolutely amazing! They were super helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to assist me. They made the whole experience smooth and hassle-free. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need. Best auto use parts yard in Columbus. Prices are good, fast service and they will take the parts off for you. Recommend AAAA. Late model cars, I have been shopping with them over 4 years and no issue
5 stars. South high, you're the best. Called on Monday for parts for my 2015 fiesta. they had what I needed at a great price. Called them back on Tuesday and explained I couldn't get there till Friday. They said they would hold them until then. I called on Friday morning, told them I was on my way for the parts. They said no problem. It was 4 hr drive form Flat Rock, Mi. They were true to their word and got me the parts I needed. Excellent service and friendly staff. Thanks again South High.

Terrible experience! Bought an engine and they did a bait and switch with an engine with more higher mileage. When I confronted them about it they refunded the money and the wouldn’t sell me anything. I would understand if it was a mistake but when I came in they told me they had it in stock and when I confronted them about the different stock numbers the manager got mad and started to get rude.
Terrible experience here. Not timely I was here for over an hour just waiting on 1 side mirror. I was very unhappy with the process and felt they didn't respect me because I was a woman. They gave me the wrong color part and didn't try to fix it. Wouldn't advise other women to go here if you're looking for timely respectful services.
Called 3 times to get a tow truck driver sent to my location to pick up my car I was selling to the junk yard. First time, they told me the would call in the morning. Second time they (the next day) I was told I would receive a call in a little bit. Third time(in the afternoon) I was told I would receive a call by the tow truck driver. Never got a call from the tow truck driver. Two stars only because they offered a reasonable price.
As soon as i came in the store ; I was greeted, by staff. Don & Mike they were ;very helpful ; and worked good deals wit me ; on an engine.. that’s what I like most about south high, they are reasonable, wit pricing!
They have great pricing on used transmissions, better than the cost to repair. I've gotten 3 different transmissions for different make and model vehicles and only had one issue. They resolved it by exchanging. They didn't get five stars because the wait can be longer at times.
I’m from Grand Rapids Michigan I needed a engine , So I called on a engine I found on the interwebs. The price was more than fair , altho it is a 6hr drive one way , so I asked if i could give a deposit over phone …… they said No (that was strange) I asked for vin to run a carfax for the claim the motor only had 168,000 on a diesel, so that is low for one of them . The lady that answered the phone seemed very Un knowledgeable about auto parts
So I came to read reviews….. and I definitely don’t like what I’m reading which is kind of sad because I would have came and bought the motor but I’m also glad that I didn’t because of the practices that other people are talking about that this company does. And if there was only one claim of problem. I probably still would’ve drove down because most people don’t understand how these businesses work and you’re never going to please everybody all the time no matter what you do .
But since there were multiple people claiming the same thing (like raising the price when you get there) or selling you a motor that was never tested which I don’t personally have a problem with because I understand the business. I felt as if this is kind of shady business practice and most reputable salvage yards or recyclers WILL NOT do this under any circumstance. !!! When you’re removing and replacing an engine on a vehicle it’s a time consuming effort plus cost a considerable amount of money for this particular engine oil alone will run you $200 so you need to make sure that when you purchase something that it is accurately described and in good mechanical working order.
I know nowadays customer service doesn’t mean anything but I run a small you tube channel small Business So it’s important that we can trust other small businesses and regretfully I can’t do business with this type of business.
