Absolute ways to time went there had to pay $2 to get in only to find out that their website lied and they did not have the vehicle that their website said they did so I paid $2 to walk around and not pick up a part
From reading a bunch of the sour things comments and reviews. I myself have never ever had any problems with this place. I'm glad it exists, because yeah, they carry every part to every car that I have owned. They are very informal and even give you a cheat. Sheet, as you want to call it two cross reference parts to make it easier for you to find them at every row . So yeah, other than that? Yes, if it had ten stars, I'd give it ten stars, i'm actually going there today.
If your going to go here get the price first before you pull “my mistake” Prices are outrageous tried charging me 255$ for a differential and 2 axles never going back .
I was in the market for a couple parts for my used car and was able to get what I came for and more for less than the part that I was going to buy online.
Bring your own tools to get the parts, and the gravel lot was pretty muddy, so dress appropriately! Happy picking!
Horrible customer service I live 40 minutes away I simply called to ask if they had a set of tires I'd seen last week that's sitting by the door on the inside a simple peak by a staff member would have sufficed gave her a perfect description the only set by the door the lady said I don't know you will have to come in and see for yourself.
Signed a waiver and got in the junkyard fast, cost $2 to get in. Got my parts and got out fairly fast. Reasonable price. Maybe higher than it used to be, but what isn't. Still easier and more fun than checking craigslist
Pulled up at 4:43 and the doors was closed when they close at 5:00 I flagged someone from inside for him to tell me that they close and walked away didn’t even give me time when I just wanted to ask a question
I love this place for parts and their ability to organize BUT, i call and ask for a specific vehicle and they say no, i go to website and the cars listed with 2 add'l options available, i go to yard and they definitely had the cars. My husband and myself pulled an engine which we now have to rent the hoist to purchase this part, we get to register to pay and after they take half cash and half card the transaction fumbles, we check our acct and theyve taken our money, not pending, it was pulled. They refused to give us a receipt for our purchase and made us leave the engine we worked so hard for. Husband returned the next day with cash and still no refund for the debit transaction. They REASSURED us, the money would refund, BUT IT DIDNT. Over a week later my husband is now forced to go back to collect the cash they owe him for the bank pull that NEVER refunded as they swore would. The woman claimed their computers do this all the time, which has never before happened to us, but this day it had, and they do not know how to print a receipt for your purchases. (Or she just refused) i showed my ass and demanded a receipt for the money they had taken, cash and debit and they threw our cash back at us and refused. They called the police but they never arrived. PAY IN CASH IF YOU CAN and be prepared to be violated if theres ever a transactional problem, they dont work well with others.
I've been to this place several times.but if you call you get put on hold every time you there and it seems like you have to wait forever to get some one.they are very rude people
Charged me and my son 4 dollars to get in . Quoted me 12 dollars for a sun visor for a jeep . Went to leave and charged me 17 dollars plus tax . Almost 22 dollars if add the fee to get in ,10 more than quoted . Should have gone to woodys where it was 4 dollars for the same visor.
Desaray & Tracy very nice they helped me out when I purchased a part and it was the wrong part they totally refunded me they have great customer service and they are very nice !! And funny love this place plan on coming back !!
So my overall experience here was good for the most part. They had an above average selection of parts, their yard was not trashed like a few that I know of, and their pricing was fair. I have to say I liked the fact that they even had a hand washing station for when you get dirty and my hands were covered in oil. The only thing that blew me away was this charge I seen on my receipt for a “environmental fee” for $11.76. I asked them at the desk what that was about and didn’t really explain in much detail other than the burden of environmental clean up around there is shared between all of us. 🤔 I don’t own pick and pull so I don’t understand why the burden would be shifted some onto me let alone everyone else. Kind of crazy they just choose to charge us more so their bottom line isn’t affected as much.🤷so FYI be prepared to pay more than what you are quoted for!!!
I almost forgot you do get charged $2 to go in too which i understand because people do go in there with bad intentions. The thing the caught me off guard is I called to see if they had a specific truck there and couldn’t, just told me the year, make, and model which was fine but when I brought it up about just checking to see if it was there first, I was told I still had to pay the $2 even though I wasn’t getting any parts as of yet!
Sold our car to them 3 months ago and they never mailed the check to pay for it that they promised to.
I've attempted to call the store 5 times and the lines to everything but the 'sell your car' option are never answered.
This place used to be awesome. Now their prices are through the roof for used parts. You're better off spending $10-$20 extra dollars and buying new online.
I was supposed to have my truck picked up between 8-12 this morning and at 11:40 I called because I was supposed to have a 30 minute call that the driver was on his way and I didn’t receive a call so I was checking on when the driver was coming because he obviously wasn’t going to make it and I didn’t get a call. While I was on hold the driver did call and said that they over scheduled pickups today and that he couldn’t make it until 1 and if this was a problem I could reschedule it. I told him that it was supposed to be between 8-12 and that I have things to do for customers but I guess I would have to wait until 1. He started yelling at me and telling if I don’t like it I can reschedule and I told him that there was no need to get mad and he told well if I don’t like it a can reschedule and hung up on me. Well I called the lady back with logistics who was awesome by the way and here this guy told his dispatcher that I was getting mouthy with him and that he wasn’t going to pick mine up. He completely lied to them. I was being patient and told him I would wait until till 1. This guy shouldn’t have anything to do with customers and this is how they let their employees treat their customers. The lady in logistics and the driver who came to pick the truck was really nice.
On hold for over 20 minutes on the phone before I hung up. I just needed to ask if they had any of the vehicle I was looking for, but it was faster to drive over and wait in line. While in line I heard the staff joking about people calling and hanging up for being put on hold (phone rang a couple times while I was there) but none of them bothered to go back to the people on hold between customers. According to past reviews, this is not a new problem.
Also, I tried going online to see if they had my vehicle and it said they didn't. The list they gave me in the store had eight of them on it. They're doing a brisk business, so they must have parts people want, but I'm not paying just to have a look-see on a maybe they have it.
When I couldn't find the part for my car online or at the dealer or even at an AutoZone I was able to find the part here. Took it out in 15 minutes. Took it to the house and installed it. And, the car is running perfectly like new Thank you guys for having part I needed and a jam. Every supplier and dealer had the part on back order and had no estimated delivery time so this was very helpful. Thank you very much.
Definitely one of the best scrappies I've found in CBus. Huge selection, good prices. They can get pretty busy, so give yourself plenty of time. Admittance ends a half hour before they close, and don't forget your 1 dollar entrance fee.
Imo the hours should NOT be advertised as closing at 5p since they won't even let you in the door past 4:30p and kick you out past 5p without finishing you up
God forbid an employee has to work 15mins over. Employees are not friendly and sometimes even down right rude.
Prices for many small mundane items like relays and fuses are down right ridiculous for a place that you remove the untested items yourself.
Prices are no better than conventional salvage yards.
Many items are just destroyed by customers trying to get to the parts they need.
This place should be a last resort!
They make selling your junk vehicle pretty easy, just make sure you read the fine print. Just because they give you a quote DOES NOT mean thats what you're definitely getting. I even took my vehicle to them. In the exact condition it was in when I got the quote Saturday. I got there and they offered me $100 less than what I was quoted for. Had I had a way to get it back home I may not have done it, but I already had it towed there so chose to just take it. Also, they pay in a check and you can not cash it for 4 hours after you sell the vehicle so don't go straight to a bank expecting cash money right after. Other than that it was a simple process and the girl at the buying counter was pretty awesome!
you will get your part from great employees.
but their environmental fee is a racket.
they express since they need to do work/cleaning to their yard it should cost you around 3.60 to 5 dollars a part.
Doesn't seem to be much til you realize it cost more than the part you got or you got ten parts so its an extra 30 to 70 bucks.
The people working there are so rude. I stood in line for 10 minutes watching this gentleman be rude to every customer that came up to him. If you don't like your job then you shouldn't be running the front counter. You were the face of the company. There's plenty of junk yards to get parts from. I will not support local business if they do not treat their locals kindly
I'd rather give my money to Amazon than fund this local business if they're going to be rude to their customers all the time.
They keep saying they cant get behind my house to pick up a junk car however the very company that picks up the cars for them towed a car right next to mine. Pitiful!
Always buying parts. Decent place. 3 month ago bought set of 4 tire and returned it. Got $176 store credit on receipt not on a card. I have a nice and clear picture of it on my phone. And I can't use it. Because of the company policy. Even I print it. Still I can't use it. It has to be the receipt itself. Speak with the manager ( Jonio) still the company policy. Keep your return credit receipt safe you can because of the company policy.
