Mohamed Conde stated he got the bumper from a Tahoe when he needed a bumper from a Suburban, unless they gave him one from a wrong year generation parts from a Tahoe are the exact same as a Suburban! They are the exact same vehicle with the exception of a Suburban is 18 inches longer. All parts interchange! Maybe he is not as mechanical inclined as some people. Personally they are an amazing place and always have exactly the parts I need at very reasonable prices. The fact they know Tahoe's and Suburban's parts interchange is exactly why I think it's a great place to go. Very helpful and very knowledgeable!
Awesome Customer Experience! Kristina found the seats we were looking for, but they weren't the ONES that we really wanted. She picked up on that and took the time and effort to find another set. Which happened to be the exact set needed. This is the family owned service that is rarely found in this millennium. We have found our 1st stop for parts. The service here is top rate. I highly recommend this place!
Although they didn't have the part I needed, the rep was extremely helpful and gave me the names/numbers of other local places she could see had it in. VERY COOL! I will give them my business every chance I can!
Called to check price and availability on a rare sized spare tire. Unfortunately, I can't remember the rep's name, but he researched and called me back with a price half that of the only other salvage yard that had it.
These will be the first guys I call from now on.
Nice enough people. However, communication is very poor. They did not understand what my car was, when I was given to someone who did they said they'd get the parts. They have not called back when they repeatedly said they would. This is over the span of two and a half weeks and a personal visit.
If they say they can get or have your parts, ask if you can pick it up that day. They told me they had the parts I wanted, but then said they were ordering them. I was able to find those parts on Ebay for less than they were charging.
If they have the parts -there- and you can see them, go ahead. But otherwise I would not bother.
They didn't have the part I needed but they stayed on the phone and helped me track down what I needed and from a reliable place. The service here is top rate. I highly recommend this place and I will always check here when I need a part, for Superior service and pricing.
After I spent all morning trying to pull a bumper (from a different salvage yard) - I was stuck on one bolt that just wouldn't budge. I was on my way out. Leaving. Quite defeated. Ran into Alex from KGR - he said "Let me help." A minute later, I was leaving with said bumper. I will forever remember Alex's kindness and will send my future business to KGR bc of him. Good people.
I have been a customer for many years at KGR Auto Salvage. Every time I come, I have been treaded with out most respect and understanding. They are honest. I will be their customer for years to come. I recommend them to anyone looking for any car parts or/and any car services.
I am from out of town. These men found my problem and fixed it and got me back on the road. The problem was simple to fix and they charged me $5 and did not take advantage of my situation. They are very trustworthy. I have since made many parts purchases and have found that I can find Volvo parts for less than anywhere else in Columbus. If you need a Volvo fixed or need parts these are your guys. Outstanding service and value.
They were very weak , they gave me the wrong part , after I telling them what I want . They refused to take the item back . Gave me the bumper of Tahoe , when I wanted the bumper of suburban . I would no recommand to anyone
