Called for a part. Was told they have the part but wanted to double check due to the age of the inventory number. Said they would check the yard and get back to me later that day or the next morning. By the next afternoon (3pm), I had not received the call back so I called and left a detailed voicemail. 2 days later still no return call.
Gave them multiple chances but was met with rudeness every single time. There are better places out there and to be honest I’d rather pay extra for something than go to this place again.
We drove 300 miles to get a stereo that they said was the right one, but when we got there it wasn't even a stereo it was a tuner. All that they did was say sorry sir. Unbelievable...
Was very respectful and helpful and knowledgeable had what I needed drove 45 minutes to get here and it was definitely worth it they had it when no one else did
Wouldn't give me a chance to talk and explain the situation about my part search. Wouldn't listen, just trying to talk over me. Whom ever he was he should be sent to the yard pulling parts, not working behind the desk doing phone sales.
It is easy to rate a company with high marks when everything goes right, but when things don't go as planned and they take care of the problem in fast and professional manner that is a great company. I will purchase from them again
Some people should not work customer service jobs if they dont like to deal with people period. The only reason I even go here is because they are reasonably priced.
Their used/renewed batteries have a one-year warranty. The one I bought there for my Vibe is going on three years now without any problems. (I'm knocking on wood as I type LOL)
Sold me wrong battery that in turn blew out my Alternator and did not even try to help fix the issue they caused. Now I have to buy a 220 dollar alternator. Very poor service, apparently do not know their own items or parts. A Ford Mustang is way differnt than my Dodge Ram. Maybe she just need tips to clean her ears out with or actually listen to your customer maybe
I happened to wander across this facility. Amazing!!!! The secretary was very engaging, and knowledgeable. They advised me they had just pulled the vehicle in their garage and it would be an hour- ish and Maby .. 30 min later they had pulled the starter off of the 2004 Honda CR-V.
Hats off to this company. They removed the part and brought it out to me. Pull a part (smh) who wants to go stand out in the blazing sun for 2 hours sweating to death just to find you forgot your tool in your car. This is absolutely my new go to automotive shop. Much appreciation to the mechanic. That guy definitely knows what he's doing. The costumer service here is top notch!!!!
They sold me a battery about a year ago that did not have enough acid in it and just a couple weeks ago it died out on me. I went to fill up with water but I put the wrong kind using city water or tap water. But it would not hold a charge, so I poured that out knowing tap water was lighter than the acid. Then I used bottled water still wrong. Then bought a battery from interstate for $25,,, but when I took the Caps off the acid was all gone so I used a gallon of distilled water and filled the battery each cylinder. There was a guy and Lady at interstate I was buying the battery from but the man would not let me open the cells to see what I'm buying. I think that was poor service. WELL SO FAR SO GOOD PRAISE YOU JESUS...
I went there to buy a used headlight assembly for my van. They were reasonably priced. I paid $40 and everywhere else wanted $75. I would recommend this place
The last time we went in, after calling ahead of time, the lady who works at the front counter was rude as ever on the phone and then in person as well. I tried to be understanding as you never know what someone else is going through, but she's just..... hmmmm how to say this....... a B***h and a half! Good luck with repeat business from me and my family!
They helped me figure out the size of the rim I needed. They didn't have the one I needed, but found one for me at another junkyard.
Docked one star because I felt like they were short with me at times. I was also told the other junkyard was 40 minutes away but it was a little over an hour from their location, which makes a bit of a difference when you have to catch a ride from a friend.
The transmission went out on my Nissan Altima, while my mother and I were on our way home I might add, and we were stuck in a parking lot for hours. When I called them, they were there in less than an hour. The gentleman that came to tow our car was patient, friendly, and courteous. We got home safely and quickly. Thank you for all of your hard work in this troubled time.
Very rude and unprofessional, called about a part they had listed online and was hung up on. I thought it was a mistake so I called back about the part and was hung up on again, if you don’t have the part then delete it off? Either they’re to lazy to delete it or don’t know how to but I’ll never do business with them again. One star because negative stars wasn’t an option
Great prices knowledgeable staff... Nice to deal with... When u watch these guys at close at the customers request load a Hemi engine in the trunk of a Taurus.. Customer wanted the engine in his back seat lol.,,,,,
I had ordered body parts for a customer's vehicle from Interstate Auto & Truck Salvage that I was going to drive hours to pickup (they knew that), so just to be sure, I asked for the dimensions of the body parts and had pictures sent of the parts, so I knew I was not picking up junk parts. When I got there Don, from Interstate, gave me attitude about making him measure the parts (obviously I was not going to drive hours for parts, just to find out they would not fit in my vehicle) and was questioning me about my competence. The body parts I was picking up were also in a lot worse of a condition than in the pictures they had sent me. There were massive dents and scratches throughout all of the parts, the pictures I was sent did not show any of those damages. Poor service and terrible quality, I will never buy anything else from Interstate Auto & Truck Salvage.
Rude on the phone. Way Over priced, this place is 30-40% more expensive than all other local salvage yards. They pay 100 bucks for junk cars and charge retail prices for parts. And for parts they do not have they buy aftermarket parts from certifit in Cleveland and then charge oem price for them. (Certifit is open to the public by the way) this salvage yard is a joke .
they sold me a faulty fan and clutch. I'm so very heated. hopefully i can get my money back 64$ back i spent on it they said 30 day warranty but no cash back then they better have the same one i need for same price. i need my suv to work thats my money maker so yeah. not very satisfied at this point if they follow thru and have another one then I'll change my review til then it is what it is!
This place is a freaking joke..First i pay for a part in advance for my truck becausethey assure me that it's the right part..guess what it wasn't and then they refused to give me my money back..then they get wrong part again and then give me attitude about giving me money back.. Second they have a glass installed in my sons car and it craxks in a couple weeks and they won't warranty it.. what a cracker jaxk business
