Lord. I missed the exit about 3 times lol trying to find the place anywho kinda easy to find, sign where truckers enter. Pull up to the guard shack, give them your pick up number then pull down on the scale and wait for the green light to proceed. It was a busy day for loading with the snow on the ground. Easy back. Everyone was nice. A loader will come get the paper from you that the guard shack gives you..
Drivers beware: they have a minimum load of 40k. Got through the guard shack in a couple minutes the first time around. There wasn't a line at that time, so I got loaded in about an hour. On the way out, I was under their weight minimum, and had to sit behind 6 other trailers waiting to get loaded for two bales.
WM is a business that is going to do the right thing in it's billing and policy practices instead of just gouging the business for mistakes or overnights such as overfilling the bin..
Do you want your trash picked up? Then waste management isn't for you. 4th week in May and I've only been serviced 1 time. Talked to multiple supervisors and have just been given the run around. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else.
Edit* multiple people have been extremely condescending and it seems like they can't figure out problems. Seriously go with anyone else.
Edit2. I'm 5 weeks into not having trash picked up. Won't refund me, they are trying to make me pay a cancelation fee for a service I haven't received in 5 WEEKS.
Lack of assistance! I was transferred from one person to another who would not take the time to resolve my issue. Took my payment and never received a refund for the service I did NOT receive!

WM does a great job. They are reliable and the drivers are very nice and professional. They let me pay once per year and always match the town hauler rate. Their trucks are clean and well maintained. I’ll be a loyal customer.
Decent service delivered dirty cans. I understand it’s for trash and recycling. But the recycling bin had trash from the previous owner in it that wasn’t recyclable. They said they would charge us $50 to deliver a different can when we asked about it. Idk how hard it is to spray out cans or even use a machine to do it… but they should consider it.
Very lazy drivers with no sense of customer service. Seems to run rampant the company. Neighbors and I will urge our council to pick another contractor next time.
Very disrespectful talking and rude. I’m 74 yrs old and tried to get a mattress removed 4 times No one can talk or be helpful. Wheaten has ripped plastic off mattress twice and they never picked it up I’ve dragged in in 2 times by myself. They want me to keep putting it out.
Great experience! Easy to reserve on their website and communications are sent afterwards via email. However, an ETA was not given so I contacted online chat and was given an ETA for delivery. I contacted online chat again to request afternoon pickup and was told they would try and we did have an afternoon pickup. I would use WM again for a dumpster.
Super easy to sign up on website, prices were competitive, service has been in line with expectations. Frankly I’m amazed at how good the experience has been. I’m very impressed.
The company will just randomly charge you absurd amount of money with no explanation then tell you they'll issue you a credit and then never do so navigation of their app and website is horrible and customer service is so frustrating and very helpful. For the health of your mental well being and bank account choose any other company.
Reliable service but very disappointed in fluctuating environmental and fuel surcharges that primarily increase each month. These are impossible for customers to validate..need fixed rate for these.
Fails to pickup and then overcharges when the dumpster they didn't pick up is over loaded. watched the recycling team drop trash on the ground, ignore it and yell at me when I pointed at it from my car...He still didn't pick it up. this company is dishonest 9 ways from Sunday. they have lied about pickups, they have lied about image receipts and they lied when they said they would price lock my contract. this company has some of the historically worst follow through I have ever experienced. WM is the kind of "I will fix/do this" and then not doing it.
I had an issue with garage pick up and I contacted WM customer service to resolve the issue. After the issue wasn’t resolved, I called back. After it was resolved a second time I called back. I then went down to the WM garage nearest to me to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor at the Glenwillow, Ohio location informed me that WM customer service reps don’t know what they’re talking about and I should not listen to them. He further stated that he was not going to resolve the issue even after I repeatedly told him what customer service told me. The supervisor clearly was not worried about repercussions and he was correct. I was unable to find a telephone on any other information on WM’s website to complain to his supervisor.
Okay experience. Quick check-in. Loading process took only 1,5 hours. Have to have a scale tickets (empty and fully loaded). Facility this time didn't have internet to print BOL, ask broker to provide one. Overall not so bad.
Over a period of about 4/5 weeks our trash cans came missing at a rate of 1 per week. We had our eyes on a menacing neighbor but did not see any indication that they were the culpret. After 3 missing trash cans we called WM to get their take on what was happening. They were able to view their driver via an on truck camera that he was using the mechanical arms used for the WM trash can to empty our personal trash cans! We were told to expect a phone call from someone at WM to discuss a solution. 5 trash cans and 2 phone calls from us to WM later and we have not heard a word! When they used the mechanical arms the cans were dropped automaticly into the truck and were crushed. Obviously there are problems within this company,,,,,,there were no repercussions for the driver and no solution for us (the paying customer). I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
My maintenance driver picks up promptly, and replaces my cans in my driveway in their original position. I never have to get out of my car to move the cans to get in my driveway. They also picked up both of my bulk items. Thanks for the good work.
I would not suggest using Waste Management...they raise the prices when ever they want and you are very restricted for when you can cancel your contract...signed contract then following year there was a 35% price increase. Use a different company...Support small businesses instead
I would not recommend using them for your business. If you try to cancel they flat out lie to you saying you cannot cancel yet, then try to convince you to stay then transfer you to someone else to stay. Finally you get to cancel and the final bill comes in with a $150 removal fee. From the beginning the guy who signed me up said it would only cost $65 a month but didn't say it would be twice that with the fees. Overall Waste Management was a rip off
Not easy to deal with if you truly recycle, almost discourage it. Small wash basket size was not big enough for paper and plastics so we put paper in a clearly marked small garbage can which their employee would not empty, when I called I was told to put excess into plastic bags by their container--
since I shop with canvas grocery bags I have a limited number of plastic bags so I guess my only option is to throw paper products in with the garbage which I was told is probably what I should do. So much for recycling.
