No estoy muy contento les lleve un 1966 318 para reparación completa primero me dijeron que como 4,000 dólares por todo cuando me lo entregaron fueron 5,300 dólares me traje el motor ala casa un par de meses después lo puse pero no lo corrí mucho un par de millas porque el carro se fue ala pintura y me habla la persona diciendo que el carro está tirando aceite del empaque del cigueñal trasero no del cárter del cigueñal Fui a hablar con ellos y lo que me dijo la persona Fue que el Hiba a averiguar que le diera un tiempo Para ver qué se puede hacer Dos o tres semanas después me dijo que como el motor no lo había prendido que ala mejor los empaques se habían como resecado que le hechara un lucas para mirar si se le quitaba Yo opino que no tendría que hecharle nada de eso Si el motor está recién empacado y no se a usado aunque pasen meses parado yo no lo recomiendo
Harts in Cecil OH has been doing any sort of machine work for over 30 years. They can to basically anything C & P Machine of Ft Wayne can, and I think even more precise and specilized work. I prefer Harts for various reasons as they can even offset grind crankshafts there to change stroke and change rod pin sizes, etc etc. Be patient they are busy but they can do it!
The best machine shop you will find around here. Old school, good work. John can do anything! From racing engines to Ocean freighters, he does them all. His work is known around the world.
I would trust a group of high school kids from a tech class. Before these clowns don’t walk away RUN!! Away… from this place. I had them build a SBC 383 l drop off all the parts new crank rod pistons block. Summit racing sent them the bearing set and they was wrong. So Summit resent them. I received a text they was delivered. 10 mins later they called and said my motor was ready. I didn’t say anything over the phone but I know they didn’t use my bearings. When I got there I let them know that I received the text and no way my parts are in my motor. The owner and me had a big argument until he said he was tried of waiting and they had a set they installed and was going to charge me. The bearings was from a company they went bankrupt 10 years ago. I paid for the best King bearings. Long story 4 times driving my car my engine started to make bearing noise and yup spun a rod bearing Thanks Harts wish I could sue you guys. Please don’t trust this place
Have had 2 blocks done here the second took 4 months and they didnt do what I asked of them for it. I will find another shop that will deliver in a timely fashion.
A real honest shop no b.s. no waiting for weeks,straight forward good people,worth the drive from toledo everytime,a highly recommended machine shop!!!!!!
Proper work done. Timely manner great customer service! Vintage or late model... Even agricultural... Hot rod, race car, or just an engine rebuild. Great people to work with! They have done all of my motorcycle engine machine work for quite some time... And I am very very picky. It always checks out proper, and I check it every time! If you're looking for Quality machine work this is the place to go!
