Would recommend this O’Reillys over most. I had the pleasure of working with Eric on a return after a terrible experience at the Needmore location. Not only was Eric able to help with my refund he even put my windshield wiper blades on for me.
I very much appreciate the honesty I didn't receive from the AutoZone smh just earned yourself a forever customer because I refuse to be treated like an easy mark driving up in a 2025 Tesla needing two batteries for my Chevy diesel lol I can't believe they have the audacity to try and scam me lol But it's all good cuz O'Reilly has my back. 😮💨 They have the brains to know You probably shouldn't scam the dude who comes in multiple times to buy stuff lol I'm l much more than just a Windows shopper, So if you want to be treated like a valued customer I would go to O'Reilly's in a heartbeat over being treated like I could be easily manipulated which was obviously not the case 🤣
Major improvement’s they got all the inventory stock back on the shelves. All the workers are super friendly, super good vibes and atmosphere and they will go above and beyond to help you the very knowledgeable what you’re doing good job.… edit I originally gave them 5 start’s I own a shop and mobile mechanic business I can’t never get them to answer the phone a business will go under in asap if you can’t answer the phones
I would like to thank Donny. I had to walk to the store because my car broke down. He ordered me the part I needed and he called me when the part was there. Thank you man I appreciate it.
I spent $144 on a battery today. I asked what time they closed and was told 9:00PM. When I go back at 8:40PM manager told me he was closed, because they had to do stocking!! Are you kidding me this is how you treat customers?? This is how most stores are in the "West Side" you can beat believe I'll never come back and if I can get my money back on the battery I'm going to!!
Horrible the employee's rob the place blind need to fire every single person and hire all new asap... they was trying to sale me every part for half price out the back door great company Horrible employee's
This place has really fallen on hard times... the parts are often wrong and not made for OEM replacement... also the staff very often give wrong information and advice with no mechanical training or experience... PARTS STORE!!!! Not mechanic... also, dirty store, HORRIBLE parking lot that in itself will mess up your vehicle if it wasn't already and poor parts ordering and management... you're better off going across the street to Parts Plus...
The O'Reilly's on Salem Avenue is a joke. You don't know who the employees are because they wear whatever they want, one had his shirt pulled over his head. They joke and use profanity and rude to the customers. One was snapping at someone on the phone who was asking about some brakes. I took a pair of dead riding mower batteries to recycle, the first guy I talked to was confused even though I was told all stores took batteries and one guy who was outside with some other guy, told me they don't do it, take it to another store. I did, to another store in Englewood Ohio that was a polar opposite. This store was clean, the employees were professional. Do not go to the Salem ave. store for anything! The store was completely unprofessional and ghetto! Go to any other one, namely Englewood.!
Great team working on Salem Ave in Dayton. My towing service told me to go there for the parts I needed. To be honest most of the people I deal with tell me to go to O'Reilly. On a busy Saturday afternoon, they took the time to help me get the right part and I was able to get my car repaired same day. I didn't have to wait until the part was in stock. Thanks for a job well done.
I had the best customer experience at this store. I was educated on the correct oil needed for my car. The associate Tyrus actually added the oil to my car. I will definitely be returning to this store.
Mr. Tyrus customer service and ability to multi-task is very much appreciated. I needed a new AC Compressor which is costly and a little out of my budget. Unexpected expenses can really be a downer. Tyrus was so kind and helpful, I didn't mind spending the money. I purchased the compressor the same day and would definitely recommend this location to others. THANK YOU MR.TYRUS!
Tyrus was the one to help me out, it was a great experience. I was having a sudden car emergency and explained that I was an hour and a half away from home. Even though they would close just minutes after I got there, he enthusiastically encouraged me to stop by. He was a life saver!
An assistant manager came out and assisted a friend with her car was having issues with her alternator and battery very pleasant and thank you very much
Ms Cathy, Marcus, and Tyrus has excellent customer service. They are very knowledgeable of the store, parts,and spot on with making you feel right at home!!! My favorite O'Reilly's by far 😏
This location seems to need more people working the store and the maintenance people need to fix the lighting in the store. It really looks ran down inside from lights not working to things laying all over the place. I will say the people that are working in there are super friendly. More than likely if they had more people working and did some work to the store It would be a great location
Lazy store manager, my old Detroit diesel Rv uses straight 40wt oil that I can get the next day from O'Reilly's all over the country, I order a case from the store manager who said he needed 3 days, called back 3 days later. No order in the system, can't get it until next week??? Asked if he would check if other stores have it in stock, 10 minutes on hold was told nobody has it, stopped by another store the next day and bought a case, he never ordered it or checked other stores lazy.
We pulled in with a service engine soin light on during our trip from Iowa to North Carolina and Mark not only read the code for us but helped with knowledge that we don't normally come across in an O'Reilly's employee. We ended up doing a fuel filter change in the parking lot and ran into a few issues but all were able to be solved. Excellent service and assistance all around!
