The moment you step in, you'll get a bill for what's attached. It's way too expensive for such bad service. I took my truck, which has 12k on the extended warranty, there for a DEF issue. First, they said it wasn't covered, but when I refused the repair, suddenly the warranty covered it. It didn't take long for the check engine light to come back on. I brought it back, and the extended warranty, as usual, didn't cover it. The estimated repairs were $1152, with the part only being around $100. Just because I refused the repairs, they charged $551 for a 2-hour diagnostic, which I'm pretty sure took less than 30 minutes.

Had a truck towed to the Dayton location and not sure what to expect. Well they got the job done same day!!! Thanks John and the service team for getting us back on the road!!! Great communication, reasonable pricing, and excellent quality of service!!! We wish you guys continued success!!!!

These Guys are horrible. Had a brand new 2026 VNL 860 towed to this facility To To get some work done because it broke down and got it back in worse shape than what it was Received front end all jacked up steering wheel way off center with a pull to right severe vibration above 55 mph appears they went for a joyride put almost 100 miles of unaccounted miles on the truck verified by DVIRs and Samsera lost the second key. The driver turned in two keys and a remote and got one key and a remote back turned around, took our mudflaps off and put their advertisement mudflaps on it without permission. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY

My hazard switch failed, so I went to a parts store but they didn't have the switch. Another had the switch but were backed up with service! Then I found WE! They had the part, the install and I was in and out quickly!

First of all, I would like to say that every person I met at Worldwide Equipment was very nice and easy to work with. But, Kris Jackson from the parts department went above and beyond to get the refund for the part that didn't work for our SEMI Truck. (Volvo was trying to give as hard time, despite the return policy.) Thank you Kris and the rest of the staff members for the great service.

I paid other shops over $20,000 new egr valve .new turbo. Less than an hr and tech Ferman saved me so much $$$ Other mechanics had my harness plugged in all over the place . Worldwide equipment Dayton

It’s a place to have parts not to have service I drove my truck to the shop for a diagnostic cause the truck said check your fuel filter when I get there they told truck need fuel filter and nox sensor outlet and cluster they made me pay $2551 for a cluster and labor on top of that they call me to tell me if I don’t Get the Ecm replace
You will have to get the truck towed .my answer was that’s not happen 1hour later a lady called me now truck is ready how you gonna pay I said cash when I get there I said I wanna to talk with Derek they said he is so busy he can’t talk now since then he still busyOct 31, 2024 -
So here’s the deal my truck’s check light came on 28 of July while I was heading to Cali . The truck has poor fuel consumption and losing the torq. I called company and they said once I came from Cali I can drop at the dealership. On the 7 th of August I dropped the truck . After few days dealer contact me saying that they have found problems worth of $20k to fix it . well I ask if there’s warranty available and what they said that warranty expired on July 30 . So I have screenshot of what day the check light came on.they wouldn’t accept it to do the service. What should I do? I don’t got 20k$ laying around to pay to fix it . Nor will the warranty extension will cover the cost . I’m really disappointed that dealerships won’t help their customers now days .

Worked on my Volvo when I had manufacturer warranty, ruined all the def system, got 11 codes from the truck guy told me they don’t know how to fix it. Place is a joke

Good shop, very good mechanics. I had Major repairs on my truck and I was back on the road in less than 2 days. If you are from out of town and waiting they will make your truck a priority. Many shops won't do that. They even gave me a ride to the hotel. The hotel was in a safe area with 8 restaurants within a 5 min walk. They also gave me free mud flaps. Thick and heavy that won't flap in the wind.
1 WEEK UPDATE. 2018 670 Volvo D13 motor 800k miles. Symptoms noisy motor, excessive vibration, lack of power, low MPG. They installed an injector kit and a few other minor things. All problems fixed. If they told me I needed a motor rebuild I would have believed them. So they are also a honest shop.Feb 08, 2024 -

My experience at worldwide equipment was very good the staff of; Jason, Derrick, Joe and John , they got me up and running just as they predicted even though I had to stay in a nearby hotel. My truck was about to derate and the saved me from a possible catastrophe while working the Monster Jam truck circuit. They also found potential problems that would have put me out of service, Thsnks again Guys I’ll share my experience with my crew at Starfreight.

My experience was Great, the shop was busy, I had no appointment, no guarantee of getting service. I had to be towed to their shop with a fuel issue. The staff was friendly kept things in order. Problem was diagnosed and fixed promptly. Charles the service manager kept things moving along. THANK YOU !!!

Charged me thousand bucks for doing absolutely nothing. They just opened the hood and let it rest for two hours like it will solve the issue by itself and then closed the hood and these “divine mechanisms” became worthy of $1000. (which was paid by my company). They have no idea what is the issue with the truck. They didn’t even bothered themselves to solve it.

Today is 7/6/22. I dropped my truck yesterday to fix coolent leaks and batteries issues. Then they told me they'll check it today and tell me the estimate. Then they didn't call me all day. I called them in the morning and they promised me to give me an estimate is soon. after I called 3 times to DEREK. I came by myself to the shop. still they don't have it and he blamed to the parts. I never see like this before so here is my terrible experience because if takes 2 days just for an estimate I don't know how long gonna take for parts and repairs. This is extremely unprofessional. If less 1 star absolutely they deserves

I brought my truck in for a heater hose they put the hose on and put Red antifreeze freeze ... I'm not making them re evacuate the system. And put my Green antifreeze in... they said it's no big deal.. except it could clog up my cooling system.. I do not recommend this place for anything...
by the way I've been here 4 1/2 hours for a 8 inch heater hose... still waiting.. and they tried to tell me well it's a older truck... It's almost like they're trying to blame me for their screw up.. now they are going to evacuate the system after arguing with the service manager Charlie..

I can now fully understand why people are leaving terrible reviews on this place. Their customer service in the service department is non existent. I had an 8 am appointment that they made every excuse not to get my truck in for a PM. I get being busy but I called and set up an appointment with them. I am still waiting on them as we speak. Then find out they broke a bolt of on one of my filters and don't tell me until 7 hours later. I get the PM takes 3 hours to complete but I got the truck here at 8 am and you didn't look or start the job around 1145 after I complained to a manager. It is now 3 pm and my truck still isn't complete. I will never bring my truck back here again. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere too.

In simple words PUT FIRE IN YOUR TRUCK BUT DON’T TAKE TO THEM. I’m getting a lawyer & going behind them for every single penny paid, they gave me a quote for $ 3085 to do everything that was on the dash & my turbo wasn’t working, was supposed to get truck back in 1 &1/2 days & got back in 8 days & nothing has been done to the truck except for the abs light is off from the dash. Check engine light was showing 1 code which was due to regen failure & now has 3 different codes. Ended up paying $ 5900& loosing 1 week. They wanna charge you $159 hour labor & then don’t wanna give the names of technicians who worked on my truck, but 100% I’m taking them to court.

Takes you at least a day to get in. Overpriced 159$ an hour. As soon as you drop your truck, they have 2 hours diagnostic fee applied. Also invoice will be starting from 1500$ and up. To replace clutch master cylinder, hose and slave cylinder is 3075$. That will give you pricing estimate. Good luck, other than that. Cold ac, free wifi, great customer service, clean restroom and shower.

I guarantee you will come out disappointed. Part was charged way above normal price and I was charged three hours labor for replacing tractor protection valve which normally takes 30 minutes to fix. As if that was not enough it took them the whole day to replace the part. It was double loss for me - overcharged and lost a whole days work. Every customer that I saw was complaining of one thing or another but most of all being kept for a long time for something simple. Something else- you can’t even talk to the mechanic fixing your truck incase you want to explain something. In the worst scenario buy the part and get it fixed elsewhere.

BEWARE! I'm not sure if the mechanics have no idea what they're doing or it's their motto to rob people, either way it's unacceptable. We had our truck in multiple times this year for the same issue and they claimed it was an injector after claiming it was a sensor which they put in wrong. Gas fumes were awful. How do you put injectors in wrong when this is your specialty? This equates to more time and money gone. That's one story I can tell you out of many. They take days to diagnose issues because they seem to let your truck sit forever. They're very notorious for finding another issue that has to be fixed prior to them even addressing the issue you came in for. Their diagnostic fees change considerably especially if you decide not to have them repair the issue. Apparently it's not a big deal how they treat their customers because it's a non-issue that they leave people feeling ripped off. We will never bring any of our trucks back to this facility. We've found a place that is trustworthy and doesn't have a 400% markup.
