This is the best place to turn your metal in for recycling. It's clean and spacious! The people are very nice, they explained what to do and then helped get my heavy scraps loaded and wheeled to the garage for weighing. It's best to have your scraps sorted ahead of time. For example, put tanglers in a bucket, sort out the aluminum (use magnet if needed) and put it together in something, then put metal (with iron in it / magnet sticks to it) together. Great service; I definitely recommend!

I contacted Dayton Metal Recycling for a special project we were doing at a local hospital. The manager was incredibly responsive and over several days, helped arrange the pick up of several thousand pounds of material we had to recycle. The owner was the person who came with a very nice truck exactly on time. He gave me great advice and information in the process of us getting his truck loaded. They did an awesome job with our materials and I cannot say enough good things about working with them. I will absolutely be sending more material their way.

This is my first time recycling, and the first place we went was only 4 minutes away from my house. However we missed making it by 8 minutes. The next place was ten minutes away. Ryan was super helpful and walked me through the process. Not only did he come grab my bags of cans out of the car, he sorted through them for me since it was my first time. Very friendly & professional. I'll be driving the extra ten minutes to come here since they were so amazing!

Absolutley love this place. the workers are so nice, easy going and down to earth. They know just what theyre doing and know their metals very well. Super quick and organized. Very clean for being a scrap yard. By far the best prices in town hands down i will definitely be coming back & i will also tell my associates about this scrap yard. Looking forward to the next visit. The woman with the pink hair is so sweet, they all bust their rumps to get customers taken care of. definitely deserve all the praise.

So I went all the way to the other side of Dayton from Cincinnati because the prices advertised seemed better than what the cincy market is bearing as I have two scrap yards within a 1/2 mile of my place. I had a bit of brass and copper all grades. Word to the wise be super diligent about what any scrapyards idea of No.1 And No.2 copper or any other kind of metal. I had 209 lbs of No.1 copper weighed separately on the same scale. I told the guy number 1 and number 2 and they were even loads apart as they went on the scale . long story shorter . They gave me pricing for No. 2 copper as you can see from earlier invoice before I complained as was told I could pack it all up they wouldn't do business with me or I could talk to the owner. The owner came out and gave me 40 more dollars on the invoice as you can see in pictures. All I wanted was fairness at the start. It took creating a scene and yes cursing. Not at people but in conversation, like seriously that's not f-ing No. 1 copper? I will honestly say the forklift driver was busy and helpful the whole time. The guy taking the scrap and the girl who basically made the No. 2 Copper decision without saying one word and then acted surprised when I asked. Those two employees not winning any awards I assure you. They spent more time pandering to the local drug fiends etc that sold such minuscule amounts of copper, I mean ounces at best and they even have 2 small scales on the counter to deal with this type of scraping. it was clean for the most part a bit tight quarters and if it were not for getting screwed right off the bat, I would go back but never again. Don't work your but off disecting all that material only to be set up to get cheated.
