Well, never go there again they’re a rip off. I had a load of aluminum which they said it was 45 pounds which I take it to another scrapyard, which was closed is the only reason I took it to them and I know it weighed anywhere from 60 to 80 pounds cause I have the same load every time when I go to the other scrapyard, their scales are off
Love this place because they treat you like a human being and not like a bum we all are working class American citizens that should be treated with respect. This is one of the few places that treat you with respect love this place bring all your crap here may God bless you and yours.
The staff was incredibly helpful. This is my first time recycling, so I wasn't sure what to do. The guy that helped me explained the intake procedure and was very patient. 10/10 will come again.
I probably won't be back.You have to open your bags and empty your cans which is pretty weird 1st street recycling.Maybe a little less on the pound but you get customer service.They come out.And unload you.You're done in out of there and lets in two minutes, you would probably get a lot more customers.If you not ask people to break up on their trash.Bags to unload their cans. If that's your policy , then you should do that
The people there are very patient and help people they are very professional and very polite to others this is the best place to take scrap to I won't go nowhere else
Not a happy camper. Came in to a guy screaming a office lady telling her to go back to the gd office in front of my kids and us as their customers trying to unload. Bigger guy running fork lift. Very unprofessional. I let the lady know I won't be coming back.
Customer service was above and beyond believe it or not. They also beat any of the competitors as scrap price rates by at least $5-$8. Service was A1 and very fast. 15 min proces in and out.
I’m from the mitten (Michigan) here on work and needed a place to recycle some material, quick search on Google and found these awesome crew of recyclers. Hunter helped me unload, was super polite and made it quick and painless. This recyclers yard is SUPER clean and friendly. I highly recommend them. Thanks y’all for the hospitality.
This is the best place to turn your metal in for recycling. It's clean and spacious! The people are very nice, they explained what to do and then helped get my heavy scraps loaded and wheeled to the garage for weighing. It's best to have your scraps sorted ahead of time. For example, put tanglers in a bucket, sort out the aluminum (use magnet if needed) and put it together in something, then put metal (with iron in it / magnet sticks to it) together. Great service; I definitely recommend!
