Had a rough axel break down outside a car wash entrance and had to call several other companies that couldn’t get us out. We called these guys and they were spectacular! First a lady ( I’m so sorry I forgot her name! I think it was Robin, Rhonda or Ruby? Maybe?) showed up who knew what she was doing but had too big a truck came and called in another worker for us. She took pictures and sent them to her team and assessed the situation with confidence and professionalism to better help us with the next driver. She was informative, confident and experienced! Thank you so much. When our next driver, Vern, arrived he got us out of a tight spot. This was a nearly impossible job but he did this confidence, ease and it was extremely impressive. He did a job that should have caused damage to my car but got it out with no damage at all! Same with drop off! He did an absolutely stellar and careful job in an extremely difficult situation, experience, skill and professionalism at its finest with this team! Thank you both so much for your work and time! Friendly service. I was broke down in the south bound lane of South Dixie at Alex Bell a few weeks ago (engine died) and dispatch said I'd have a hour wait. The driver got there in 30 minutes. Got it loaded up in no time and unloaded it perfectly in my driveway. They saved my bacon.

Our car's battery died in a friend's apartment parking lot. We called Hollis Towing last minute as it was going to be towed the next day. They were able to take payment over phone and the person I talked to was very friendly and helpful. The price a was an extremely low and fair price. The guy who did the actual did the towing was very nice, friendly and helpful. My husband was even able to ride with him back to our house. I couldn't be happier with our service with them.

thank you to the driver who grabbed my bike it was an orange fat boy in Huber i bought the bike from my uncle and it means a great deal to me. i really appreciate you not just dragging it around as so many others would have. i appreciate you more than you can know. i am out of the hospital now with a few new scars and 5 broken ribs i cant tell you how relived i was when they opened that garage door and my bike was standing on its kickstand you truly saved my baby. The driver(Randy) was absolutely fantastic, I gave them the address of Subaru in Dayton but apparently they do their work off site. He took it to the other site with no additional charge and was so understanding. Im going to use Hollis if I ever need towing services again!

My Honda had a CV axle failure right at rush-hour. NICE! Hollis answered my call first try. They informed me it'll be ~1hr due to a rash of accidents. Dispatch called at the 1/2hr mark to tell me they're still on schedule. The driver Vern called me 15mins later and arrived in another 20mins. I appreciate they use 'flatbed' haulers. Vern kept me entertained even as I was clearly having a bad day. 😁 He off-loaded my car right where I asked in my driveway. Thank You Hollis team for the Excellent Service!

Today....7 January I found myself in a hella bind with a flat tire. Pulled into a popular gas station, found a safe and legal parking spot, and notified the staff that I called for a tow....needless to say they told me I had an hour or they would tow me...even tho I already called Hollis. So here comes my angel - Robin who was INCREDIBLY efficient and SO professional. She got my car loaded and outta there in no time. She is a total bada$$ and so in control of the entire operation. After being treated so badly she came along and made everything okay. Hollis Towing take good care of Robin - that woman is amazing! Wow! She was so wonderdul to me that I almost cried. Kudos to the dispatcher as well. She too was very patient, kind, efficient, and THOROUGH! Promote them!!!

Hollis showed up about an hour after the scheduled pick up. The issue with my vehicle was a seized steering wheel while parked at a gas station. I was careful not to force the steering wheel after I noticed the issue. Upon arrival the driver got in my car immediately and with all of his strength forced the steering wheel before I had a chance to tell him not to do so. His job was to move my vehicle from one location to another. I didn’t call a mechanic or a troubleshooter. I called a towing company. Long story short - the wiring harness within the steering column that runs to all parts of the car were then shredded and ripped out beyond reasonable repair due to the amount of force he put on the steering wheel - $5,200 later - hollis is offering no help because the issue was “pre-existing”. Were the wires tangled before Hollis got there? Yes. Did they get in my car and make it worse by forcing the wheel and absolutely shredding any chance of a simple repair. Yes. It is the equivalent of taking a sledge hammer to a small dent in a car - and saying it was pre-existing. My honest assessment of this company is that they know how to tow a vehicle - just don’t let them inside.

Robyn is amazing! We had a no-start condition in Tipp last night. Called Hollis this morning to get service and a possible tow. She was professional, asked if I’d like advice about charging newer cars(which I gladly took), got me charged and made sure it was good before I left. She went above and beyond. I just had them tow my car off of the interstate after a blowout. They were so responsive and quick. Extremely communicative. I had three kids with me when this happened and needed to get them out of that dangerous situation ASAP. I could not be with the car when they were towing it. They were there within the hour. The driver, Kelly, called me every step of the way so I knew what was going on. He was amazing and so kind. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much!!!

I would recommend this company to anyone! My Explorer broke down on the way home, and I had my daughter with me. The tow truck driver (her name is Robin)called me , after she received the tow order from dispatch, letting me know how far she was from us. When she arrived, her first concern was to make sure my daughter was safely in her cab before working with loading my vehicle. They deserve more than 5 stars with my breakdown 120 miles from home. I initially was told it would be 90 to 120mins before a truck would be available, but it was less than an hour when my truck was on the bed of the tow truck and headed home. Driver was awesome in every way and trip home was without incident. Thank you for a job extremely well done.

I caught a flat tire on 675 south bound, Hollis towing was great very professional and polite. We donated my husbands truck which was picked up today. Robin called approximately 40 minutes before we expected 😊 and was here in 10 minutes. It just couldn’t get any better, Kellin pulled up in front of my house. I met him at the door, he ask me what kind of problem I was having and I told him the car was not recognizing the key fob. He went to his truck got out a battery tester I think it was. He said that was all fine. I handed him my key fob. He laid it in the console and it started right up. He did not charge me for the call, cause he was in the area and said he really didn’t do anything. To me it was a lot. I was able to drive to the dealership, all it needed was new batteries in the key fob.

Called them after my brother and I were told to sit for an hour by insurance. Insurance had us waiting for 3 hours and still apparently couldn’t find a driver to get me. Said they called 35+ companies and no driver was available. So after one call with Hollis they sent someone right over and I didn’t even have to stay in the car waiting for no reason. Absolutely awesome service! I’m from the Columbus area and got a flat tire, lug nuts were stripped and I ended up having to stay in town. From the time I called all the way to getting towed the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I had to use them twice, once in the evening and once the day after to move to a different mechanic. Each time they were fast, understanding and so friendly. I can’t say enough great things about Vern. He was timely, friendly and kept me in the loop on everything. He put my mind at ease, I wish I can remember the gentleman’s name who had helped us the night before. He was wonderful as well! Would definitely use them again, highly recommend!

Robyn exited her tow truck and gave me a smile. I'm not a car guy, and she didn't shame me for not checking a loose connection on my battery, which had caused my car to die at the end of my driveway.
