My partner and I ordered a replacement engine for our 2007 Lexus ES from Grade A Auto Parts of Dayton. The pictures were detailed, the engine looked clean and there was a video of it running. The representative on the phone, Amelia, was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Ameilia stated that we would get a notification when the engine shipped and explained the warranty. Unfortunately we did not receive any notification as to when it was going to be delivered and it showed up at the shop when we weren't there. The engine had major damage to it. (see photos) It looked like it had tipped over during shipping. We notified Ameilia of the situation and sent pictures. Of course the delivery driver said that the engine was perfect when he delivered. We were worried and angry that it was going to be a wasted $2,000, however after a few days of negotiations Grade A Auto Parts did give us a partial refund, which was appreciated. The issue could have been avoided if we knew when it was going to be delivered so that we could have looked the engine over upon delivery. Now we will have a much more time consuming engine build. It wasn't a great transaction, but at least they gave a partial refund. We give Grade A another try though because Amelia was a pleasure to deal with. Good customer interactions make all the difference! Give that girl a raise! If we have a smooth transaction next time I'll change my review to 5 stars.

Called and had to pay for a window ahead of time. Told Shane over the phone I need it the day of. Gave me a 2 hour window to get the job done. In total it took 3 and I drove from out of town so I was forced to wait. These people don't seem very on it. Then I get home and my shop calls me telling me they gave me the wrong window. But the manager is making it right and letting me keep the wrong glass.
