Needed a tailgate for my truck. Seen online that they had it, but since it's a 2 hour drive I decided to call and make sure. They told me that they had it on the phone, so I made the drive only to have them lead me on a wild goose chase looking for the truck in the yard. Turns out they crushed the truck... so l wasted my time, gas and mileage driving all the way out for no reason, even though I called ahead of time.
I would not trust them. I had a 11 oβclock appointment to come and pay and get a windshield from them. I made it here at 11 oβclock on the dot and then they tell me that they canβt do it. They want me to prepaid and then come back tomorrow to get it, I already got people set up to help me get the windshield out on my truck. I have everything set up. I would not trust them. This is the second time they had burned me here other time they sold me a bad part in the fuse to fix the issue, I gave him a second chance be very, very cautious with them
A-1 has been GREAT the moment I walked through the door. Even though they were very busy, they still managed to help me. Get me the parts I needed in a timely fashion and made sure I was aware of everything I needed to know along the way. Makayla I think that's her name is a joy Everytime I walk in or call the place. I've had another issue recently n had to get my car towed there, AK, another worker there offered to help me get into another vehicle while. I just love this place. I won't go anywhere else.
Hello his Place is JOKE from the owner all the way to the useless lady that answered the phone. After over a week to get someone in this place to actually do their work they told that the part disappeared from the car. Most inefficient place staff and sytem that i have ever dealt with.
I been a customer here a few times and always got good parts. The last time I came there they went above and beyond to help me fix my issue with my tires and ball joint issues. Other shops told me it was a bigger problem that needed to be fixed. I came to A1 and they couldβve played me out of money and didnβt. This is as honest as it gets. They just earned a loyal customer π
Everyone in this place is super friendly, buddy is an honest dude came to change the tire and he fixed it saved me about 100 bucks. Steve at the front desk is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to car mechanical stuff and doesn't say something unless he knows what he's talking about and tells you everything you need to do step by step to get your car fixed. Didn't interact much with the others but they seemed friendly, glad I came here via my friend recommendation and will be a regular here.
As a women I've been in many auto parts or junk yards but this one was different. Clean and respectful to me. That makes all the difference in the world. I'll be back.
I came in before closing time and not only that but I made a mess by using fix a flat in my tire but fortunately for me the workers here were very friendly and very helpful I definitely will recommend again

Terrible service. Have literally drunks/methheads for professionals. The specialist literally took 15min to find the proper battery. Than brought me the wrong battery. Wait time was amazingly long. Customer service was lackluster. Cherry pick is 5 minutes away with better staffing and information. The people at a1 were lazy. And even now when I'm calling, they left me on hold for 5 minutes twice.
The worst experience ever. They told me they would have an engine pulled for me same day it took 4 days after paying to get the engine, then i got the wrong motor called back 30 min later told them they charged me 150 restock fee and then kept the taxes on a 800 dollar bill i will neve
I went in to get a part for my Kia Spectra. They were very upfront with me and told me that it was too cold to take off the plastic part and sent me some place that they knew would have it. I was very pleased.
This place is a great place to do Business with. They have very friendly people and are really helpful on getting you what you need. I was looking for windows for a car that is hard to find parts for and they got them for me when nobody else could. For me the only thing bad is they are in Ohio and I am in Michigan but one of the employees was willing to meet me half way and he was a real nice and friendly guy. I will be doing business with them again for parts. When I need them.
It was a easy going experience. They were straight to the point and were friendly and courteous. Prices are good values for what you pay for honestly. I hope they find good business for years to come.
Sold me wrong part seltbelt then tryed to charge me 35 dollars each seatbelt more. Then said its 25 percent to just refund me the money. Do not. Do not spend any money with these people. It will be a big waste of time.
I love this establishment I am addicted to Brandon and his staff they're superbly courteous,friendly,knowledgeable,fair and reasonably priced if you're ever in trouble this is the place to call I completely trust this establishment signed a loyal & faithful customer.

a1 auto parts is OK on parts if they have them there,the thing is if u want them to put them on you have to double check to make sure they have the correct part pulled on the car you asked the part pulled on, there staff they have pull the parts don't communicate you have to make sure 100% that they pulled the right part and if you pay them to put it on be prepared to go back a FEW times there staff upfront seem to try or they SHOULD for the most part seem to try ALWAYS MAKE SURE YO GET A QUOTE WRITTEN and bring a couple soda and a snack your going to be there for a while
I drove an hour to have tires put on my car. Sat in the waiting area for 2 hours while my tires were installed and wasn't allowed to use the rest room. Customer service was very poor. The only good thing there were the prices.
I called and asked a simple question, do you have a car "such and such". after telling me twice they don't sell the "little stuff" and that he is too busy with all 3 [phone] lines going, the guy tells me to stop by. So asked him again, do you have the car there? He asks me, what kind of car was it? LMAO. The stoner values his time, but not someone else's. so, don't waste your time to be treated like you aren't important enough because you aren't buying big ticket items, and go somewhere else.
Its conveniently located, however the staff didn't seem to he to interested in helping with questions I had. I will say they were a tad busy but I believe when you're helping a customer they deserve your full undivided attention

People work during the week.
How do you run a business that deals with the public and not be open on weekends when that's when MOST people work on their vehicles!

These guys are nothing but rude! I called to confirm they had a part that they said they had and the guys 1st question was "How many yards did you call before us?". I explained that I called one other and they made some calls was told that A1 had it for $35. He said "I don't have it and the only place that does is Michael's Auto in Holland, MI". What a jerk! No option for 0 stars or that's what they'd get. I'll keep getting parts elsewhere.
Good parts. Excellent service. Very helpful and professional staff. Highly recommend for the do-it-yourselfer, that just needs the right parts for a good price. Or someone needing service for a price you can't beat anywhere else in town.ππ

Best used parts/ junk yard in Toledo, Stan and Shane that work there really went above and beyond to make sure i got what i needed. They will not sell you what you don't need, and they pull the part, very competitive pricing.
These guys were professional & honest, as I had purchased both a transmission (at an extremely fair rate) PLUS, had them replace my wife's windshield which was done also cheap & in no time flat!
