Slammers towing is a Cash cow! They did no work & charged me $160 for no tow! They were just concerned about taking my money! My car wasn’t even towed from the accident! The guy couldn’t read my debit card and had to ask me what some of the numbers were. They collected $160 bucks and did not work!
I called them today because I lost my receipt and asked for a new one and the guy refused to give me one because he said I gave him a bad review! Come on buddy! That’s no way to act and be a good person! All about the money and no customer service this place!
These guys did me right I only waited about 10 minutes and he hooked me right up to me to the mechanic pulled in and dropped me so fast so yea they treated me very good...professional, fast, and the price was right...thanks for taking g care of me fasr
Absolutely worthless company. My wife and I and four dogs were broke down on an 80 degree day, called them at 7:00pm- by 10:30pm the officer came back to check on us and called in a different tow for us. So we could get home and get them home. We called to cancel and said hi we called 3 hours ago for an accident tow now we have to cancel because the officer needs it gone so he can leave, she just said ok and hung up no apology no explanation nothing. No one should ever call these people so rude, and unprofessional. Wish there was a zero star
They robbed us overcharged us took our snowmobile and gave us a ripped up $20 as change and screamed at us when we asked for a different one. Quickly turned to a threatening environment. 0 stars what they did to us was WRONG
My wife and son were in an accident last night and we called Rau to tow the vehicle from the accident to our house. I called them at 7:44pm and they accepted the job. They called me back at 8:01pm because they couldn’t remember the addresses I gave them on the phone for the pickup and drop off. Then they call me again at 8:43pm not knowing the address. While on the phone I ask how long it would be and they said the driver will be on his way after he finishes his sandwich. At this point the police are asking me when the tow is coming because they want to get the road open and Grangers towing company left with the other vehicle 20min ago. So a little after 9pm, still not there so I call again because the police said if the car isn’t moved soon they’re going to have to tow it to the impound lot. He says he’s about 10min away. At 9:21pm they finally show up. So we leave the scene and head home to wait for the car. Not surprisingly I get a call from the company again asking for the drop off address. They charged us $75 for the tow and all we had was $80, of course driver has no change, so even after this horrible experience we had to give the driver a $5 tip. He apologizes and says if he would have known it was an accident he would of came sooner. Which means they were sandbagging us from the get go. Horrible experience! Would not recommend this company to anyone! I only gave them one star because I had to in order to leave the review!
I would suggest to the company if they want to make money they don't treat returning customers like the way I got treated last night. My company has always used this tow company in the past. I called last night for help with one of our company trucks that broke down. If you need a tow make sure you are within 15 minutes of the tow company or they will tell you, you are to far away. My truck was located 15 minutes down 75 from them. My company is located 5 minutes from them.This was an easy tow back to the shop. They took the call first, then I got called by my driver that he was to far for them. I wasted more time trying to find a company that would help us. I have taken the contact info out of our business contacts and replaced it with the company that actually works and helped us last night. Very disappointed in a 24 hour local tow company.
