My "Go To" Automotive supply store! Excellent customer service at the Oberlin, OH Advance Auto Parts. Had a bad battery and without hesitation, David (Team Member) replaced it and was very courteous. This was not my only time where I've experienced this level of customer service from this store and I will always go back!

I was here last week and the guys were so HELPFUL. A. A.RON (LOL) Came outside to help put in my headlight for me. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I purchased the headlight in elyria but they didnt help me with anything but between that purchase and me needing to purchase another bulb for my rear light. He was able to come out and help. I appreciate all his help. Thanks Aaron

Always helpful and always polite. The gentlemen there are great to deal with and very knowledgeable. I love going to this location because of the people who work there!

The Advanced Auto store in Oberlin has always been my go to. I want to give a huge thank you to Rob who helped me yesterday. My truck badly needed a new battery so I could run some errands while babysitting my 9 month old granddaughter. She was being very clingy and cried whenever I put her down. I asked Rob if he’d help put the new battery in since I knew I couldn’t do it while having my granddaughter. Without hesitation, Rob installed the new battery for me. Rob is professional, friendly and certainly an asset to the Oberlin store. My granddaughter finally enjoyed a nap while I was able to handle my errands without worry. Thanks Rob!

A great place to go if you want to be sold the wrong parts

11/27/23 visit. Needed a battery for a Hyundai and didn't want to wait on the dealer to open as I was on a time crunch. The store opened right on time and was friendly and ready to help. They even offered to change the battery out for me, but it was a cold morning, and I was already dressed to be outside. Would definitely go back again.

Love doing business here. Great manager. He always makes sure I have what I need, and it's always ready as soon as I walk in.

This is for the Oberlin/Wellington Ohio location- specifically Kurt! We were camping and our battery on our truck stopped working. Kurt was so incredibly kind and professional and quickly installed our VERY heavy battery in our Ram 2500 to enable us to get back home with a reliable truck once again!! Thank you Advance Auto Parts and especially Kurt!!

Terrific service by Nessa. Very helpful to both test and replace my car battery. The store qas both clean and organized. The various testing services that they offer make simple replacement of items quick and easy.

Great place sent my wife in for an exhaust flange she came out with the right part. The staff knows what there doing

Somewhat helpful. Not willing to change head light because they needed to remove my battery... You get payed by the hour... take your time

I travel all over the state and can say with confidence that this particular location is the worst by leaps and bounds. The staff is helpful but not knowledgable. Theres never anything in stock, the line wraps around the aisles while the 3 bumbling old guys working here spend 20 minutes at a time to look up a part. I started going to elyria for parts. Even when i am working in oberlin... its that ridiculous. Plan on wasting a minimum of 1/2 an hour before being told they dont have it, no matter what you came for.

The lady was very helpful but unfortunately they did not have what I needed in stock and could not order it. I was looking for a specific color of touch up paint.

Had everything I needed! Let me fix my part right there in the parking lot to make sure I was all good! Jason's awesome

Helpful staff. Convenient location. They had the brake light bulb my friend needed and let me install it in the parking lot. The staff was very very very helpful and home me up with the right parts. The store was well kept and clean.

They couldn't test my alternator because they didn't have the right bracket? whatever, i also took my starter up there a few weeks back and no one knew how to test it. I don't think these guys are properly trained.

This place always has what I'm looking for in stock about 95 percent of the time and because I buy so much stuff here I get a really good deal on the stuff I purchase. the guys an girls that work here are very knowledgeable and can help with just about anything unless it's a dealer item only,buts that's only happened a few times to me,so give these friendly people at the Oberlin branch a chance!

Good quality agm batteries at a good price after discount. 3 year replacement warranty and they install for most vehicles.

Very disapoonted. Lack of customer service. Very rude. The website said that store had a part in Stock. Go to pick part up they don't have it....so instead of appologize they say it's not their problem and that they will sell me different brand part for 2x the cost..... I work in automotive field and understand markup. But there was no wiggle room or apologie for not having part despite website saying it was there..... places like this will not make it very long when they are trying to sell a $30 part for 120...... this is sad. I'd rather deal with a person face to face but when I can order exact same part from rock auto [ same number and manufacturers] for 90 cheaper and I'll have it next day .. sorry I'm going with rock auto. I can understand having to pay a little more to have it today 20 or 30 but 90 geeze.

Jason was a great help. I got the parts I wanted and everything was there.

I have gone here for many years for various Automotive Parts if they are not in stock they usually get them quickly attendants are helpful although sometimes it can be slow to get someone as they are usually helping multiple people out but always received good attention when I was face-to-face with them. They always seem to have some sort of promotion going on online and the order online and pick-up in store is always quick.

Similar experience to most advanced stores, except the staff is amazing. Great people.

Good selection, helpful service. Clean and presentable. I liked that they let me try the various things out on my car before buying. I'll go back if I need something and can't/don't want to wait for an online store.
