I used to go to world Auto parts which is now parts authority. This is my first time being there as parts authority. I purchased two rotors two calipers and pads. Maybe 11:00 on a Saturday. At about 2:30 I'm finishing up my install. They gave me the wrong size pads. I call them and tell them, the guy Bob remembered me. I said when do you close? he said 3:00. I said I'm coming from a bit further away than that. But I'm on my way now. The worker said hurry but don't get in a wreck. Put me on hold for about 7 minutes. Then he said something that I could not understand about a manager which I assumed that they would meet me at the door even if they were closed so they didn't waste my entire Saturday. I arrived at their shop 12 minutes after closing time 3:12. Nobody there no parts left anywhere for me no answering of the phone. So now I am driving a half hour back to my house without the parts I need. This experience I can say customer service was not top tier. I can say accuracy of filling orders was subpar. And as far as business ethics go, absolutely not there. These Jokers would rather go catch a cold frosty beer at 3:00 on a Saturday than make right what they did wrong. Now I have to go to the competitor to finish my brake job. Then spend another hour in driving on another day to return the parts they messed up to get my money back to cover the cost of the parts I have to buy from their competitor. If there was a zero star rating I would give it. An ethical man makes right what he does wrong even if it's mildly inconvenient. None of that was at parts authority.
After spending $500 on parts my car got towed from their lot. This happens after my brakes i just bought melted my hubcaps. My brake line was clogged. So I had to pay another $1400 between mechanics and the tow cost. Ill get my parts from Amazon from now on. Ill never go back to this place.
Just wow. I want to parts authority to buy a battery and starter the other day as soon as I go into the store there is a manager is yelling at a employee, I try not to pay attention. when I get my products I waited for over 15 minutes the apartment gets thrown down a slide banged up it's like it was covered in white bird feces and when I ask about getting a different one I was told they are all gonna have the white stuff on it. Unsanitary and disgusting and the store manager himself was rude. I would rather spend more money to deal with nice people at autozone. I won't support a rude business no matter the price this is my hometown. SAD!
Be cautious and stop buying parts from here. I purchased an alternator 2 weeks back, returned the core for a refund and unfortunately the new part failed. Went back to do an even exchange and because I didn’t have the original receipt they would not do it. They would not even accept the cc statement. The customer service rep goes “sorry that’s how we roll here”. Parts Authority doesn’t even keep purchase records on file but wants you to provide them with all of your information, hmm wonder why? Basically they are selling defective parts and not providing replacements or refunds. Stay Away!
Update: after posting this review and receiving a reply Rick took care of the issue and swapped the part out with a new one. Thank You Rick.
Went for customer service and direction due to an issue with a transaction. Politely approached the manager, who refused the handshake I offered as I introduced myself. After discussing my situation, I was provided judgemental comments regarding my rightful personal choices. Proceeded to thank him for his time, to which he responded "Don't thank me, I didn't help. I'm just working." This isn't the place for good customer service, or kind people. Then again the location should have been a red flag.
Don't let the grit and grime of the place put you off. This place is a Godsend and they got it where it counts. Service is great,prices are second to none and the staff is very knowledgeable. It is car guy and technician heaven!
I purchase a alternator. They gave me a great price along with a lifetime warranty. I took back the old alternator & recieve my core charge back. The staff were very friendly.
I used to like this place till about 6 months I got a part then another bad part ! Well that wasn’t what pushed me away ! I buy thousands of dollars of parts here each year ! I called today to get a price spike with rick ! He wasn’t happy to know I was gonna price match then ! Well 20 mins later they told autozone that they can’t even get the parts after telling me 28 each and ten for shipping ! Well I call back get rick again he has a total attitude about about them not getting the sale ! Ended up talking to a chase ! Same thing not helpful! He is supposed to be the boss of this place ! Long story short them making 3 bucks off of brake hoses is costing them a customer!
I delivered a load there earlier with a 53 ft trailer. I was very nervous once I found out that a trailer that size has never delivered there before. The 2nd shift manager David and his associates did an excellent job unloading me quickly. They also took the time to guide me out of there safely which I highly appreciated. Thank you guys once again!
They sold the wrong part and went to bring it back to get the core charge back to try to recoup from buying 2 parts from 2 separate places and that's when I'm told I need the box when I bought it they said bring the part and receipt so that's what I did I was warned about buying parts from this place but I thought hey they been in business for how long they have to be good but NO I was wrong never again
I just went there yesterday and asked the skinny blonde lady with glasses and yellow teeth for a car part, she seemed to not know she worked at a auto part store she had no idea what I was talking about they probably need to hire people that have experience on cars or understand customer service instead she order the wrong part and now I have to wait to fix my car. The lady had a terrible attitude like if she didn't care in detailed what I was looking for but that would be the last time I go there for sure lost a customer. I'll be taking my business to AUTO ZONE QUALITY OVER QUANTITY... I DONT HAVE TIME TO WASTE OR DEAL WITH MASTER LEVEL PROCRASTINATORS...
Theres two cashiers in front and the old one is absolutely horrific. I went in to pick up a set of rotors and pads and she talked to me like absolute trash. Does this place require any kind of customer service skills? I have been here 3 times and had the same issue with this lady being awful
Prices good. Service is very slow. Always serve commercial accounts first while regular customers wait forever. I bought an oil change kit and sat there for 45 mins. Brake pads 30 mins. Just qlmost not worth it.
Saved 30 bucks x 2 on strut assemblys and i showed up on friday at 5 till close and they got me together. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. Store looked clean and in order. No reason not to shop here all the time.
The prices are great.. But customer service is really bad...associates just standing around on their phones ..waited 30 min for them j st to get my parts
Unfortunately cheap parts that don't seem to last .The part wasn't for me but a friend and I was appalled by the attitude and time of waiting...I recommend AutoZone or any other auto parts store who actually carry manufacturing warranties and back up the parts. The rudeness of a few there overshadow the good people there. I recommend pay a little more and come out satisfied with a person who enjoys there job bonus is a guarantee warranty through autozone or advanced auto parts ..
Great customer service everytime I have stopped in to get parts. Always fast and efficient to get you in, out and on your way. If a problem comes up the staff knows how to fix it.
Cheapest place that I have come across. I am always looking around for parts for work and they always seem to beat other prices sometimes by hundreds of dollars. They deliver quickly and if they don't have something they get it in the next morning if not that day. The people that work there are very helpful and professional. They will always have my business.
My 23 year old pregnant daughter went in today 10 minutes before closing, which I guess can be irritating but if definitely NO reason to treat her so poorly and not to offer ANY assistance to purchase the proper items for an oil change on her car. They didn't offer to go out to her car and look under the hood to help or look anything up for her, just continued to talk down to her and make her feel stupid. She was out there on this 83 degree day 6 months pregant (crying) looking under the hood trying to figure out what info they needed. Sad! Unprofessional! Auto zone may be more expensive UT clearly you get what you pay for because their customer service is excellent, you have great prices but clearly your customer service needs alot of work!! I am furious! 5-25-16
