I’ve being in this place couple times and i always get good assistance, is a clean yard they’ve being working on it the last couple months and now you can tell a big difference, they have very good prices as well

Sent my wife there this afternoon and after she unloaded the stuff from her car they put it on the scale really quick and then whisked it away. She repeatedly kept asking for the rate and no one would answer. The guy behind the counter was incredibly rude and ignored every single question she had and just handed her money with a receipt. She asked to speak to the manager and no one could find her. So she went walking around to try to find the guy she originally spoke to and he was also gone. The only people she could find didn't speak English. I will never send her here again. Treat women better! She was given no say in what happened and when she got back to where she had left the car idling the radio was blaring. It had not been on. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a place of business. Such a scummy place.
DO NOT GO HERE!Very rude, gave us $40 for $300 catalytic converter, and theire tiny area you’d think would be neat since they have customers there would be clean but it’s disgusting!
Great customer service and everyone is very nice. They helped me unload my car and made the process very easy. Highly recommend bringing your scrap metal here! Will be back often.
I love going to Lorain metals it's a very clean place . Staff always has good attitude. Joe manger is a good person he always there if some one needs him . There scrap metal prices are really great I will always go there turn my stuff in . They take vehicles in now for scrap too
The place is under new management and I couldn't be in better hands very knowledgeable people cleaning works place very helpful

They rip you off and are rude about the whole matter!! Bad business and will never go back and also had someone elses License Plate Number and color of wrong vehicle on my reciept,imagine that!?!? I also turned him in to the B.B.B.imagine that Mark Lol
If I could give a negative review I would they are thieves they told me a price of 40¢ on the phone for stainless steel then gave me half that after they took the metal away. I called another place down the street and it was really 40¢ there. This is after another time they gave us the wrong "ticket" for about $40 we had to complain and received our owed $150+. I'm calling the BBB to report them

They used to be the best around but lately they have been really bad. Wonder what happened.
Been taking large bags of cans to scrap for a good 5 years. Always comes out to about 5 to 6 dollars. Today the woman working there gave me less than 2 dollars and when I questioned her she said it’s always been like this which I know is not true because I’ve been there before. Will never go back there again.
Took in an old truck cab, cut up. Didn’t say anything until we had unloaded into the pile. Then asked for a title because “we’re scrapping a car”. It’s car parts not a car. And why let us unload before saying something unless you intended to steal it? There’s no safe way to retrieve the load.
Came on a Friday and the people were very friendly and helped us Speer ate some stuff. Went back on a Saturday they had 4 employees standing around very unfriendly and prices seemed low. Wish I could give a better score
I only called up to insure what kind of metals they accept and got nothing but attitude. The unprofessionalism that is displayed over the phone tells me all I need to know about the kind of business that is ran there.
I had the same bad experience today with owner Mark Tagliavoni as a previous reviewer did. After waiting several minutes in my vehicle on the scale, I got out and went inside. Mark rudely ordered me to step outside and wait. When he came out, I recommended that he post a sign about the process, e.g. “Please remain in your vehicle - someone will be with you shortly” vs. yelling orders at people. Instead of being accountable and acceptant of constructive criticism from a customer, Mark proceeded to escalate an unsubstantiated argument with me, strongly indicating his lack of business acumen / customer service skills. He thought it was good idea to threaten to refuse my business several times during the escalation and he ultimately did so after he realized I was not going to accept his amateur behavior. In summary, if you want inferior customer service and want to be ordered around like cattle, this is your place. Otherwise, I highly recommend Westpark Recycling Company, 401 Lowell St. in Elyria, Ohio (4.8+ stars).
My boss and I went here. First time to a scrap yard. Got harassed for getting out of our vehicle. (No one was outside so we got out to look). Owner told us not to come back because we didn’t understand the process. Sorry we’re not metal heads. We are just average day construction workers looking to get rid of some metal.
The people here are very nice and helpful, my first time there I want sure of the protocol, they explained everything to me & helped me unload and weighed my material, directed me to the cashier and got me paid and I was on my way.
