I've been to most of the junkyards in a 30 mile radius and Reed's always has the best deals. they're very reasonable and always nice to their customers.
Employees are unhelpful, unless stopped by you. Fat man behind the desk is really rude and dishonest, he wrote 200 lbs less on the scale ticket. It's never a pleasant transaction at Reed's. Today was the last time I'm taking my business there.
The people that answer the phone are so rude. I get it it's cold but at least answer my question it's 2 minutes out of your day and in case you haven't noticed with all the businesses around closing customers keep you open and collecting a paycheck.
Over all experience was great.i recently had a loud knocking noise in my jeep and found out it would be better to do an engine swap opposed to patch it. so I started my journey like most and I got on the google and called around reeds was by far the best priced for an engine with in 50 miles of Lorain county. they came complete with trans and transfer case the owner Craig was extremely personable helpful person even gave me a ride around the yard to the different candidates to fire them all up and once I found my new power train Craig had his guys pull the engine trans and transfer in such quick timing and helped me load it up.I hardly had time to pull out a tail light for another project car. Two thumbs way up highly recomended

Went to Reeds to find a specific part for a BMW. Granted there are lots of vehicles there, but nothing is organized. Atleast put the foreign on one side and domestic on the other. Look up "LKQ".
Took 560 pounds of misc scrap metal there. Received a check for $18.20. To me that doesn't add up. Am I wrong? Anyways, not a bad place, just disappointed with my experience there. Thanks for listening. DG
This is the Cadillac of all salvage yards! You can buy the entire engine with the transmission for $300! Great deals on body parts and anything that doesn't come off the engine. You cannot buy any engine part because the engines are sold running. A customer can't start an engine if there are parts missing. I recommend this spot!
I would like for the owner or Manager / Top person in charge to please contact me. I had a complaint, it has been five months since my review and as of yet no one has even tried to contact me.
All kind of cars all over the place look for yourself no fancy computers to help you find where they are. Very low prices. Even if you're not buying so cool to see all the cars all over the place. Junk of all sorts piled all over. Fun 4 the wholefamily. .
Terrible and unhelpful staff. Each staff pointed us in a different direction and finally said they don't accept aluminum cans but said they did on the phone. Went to Bluestar in Elyria
Called to have them pick up a car to salvage, was told driver will call me. Driver never called even after calling Reed's back twice. Stopped at Reed's asked if I could have car towed to them, was told need ID and title, said have them with me, they replied "No" don t get it, they say they wanted the car but won't call to pick it up or then when I offer to tow it to them no again . Non existent customer service, will not use them again.
I would highly recommend this junk yard to anyone! They are highly organized and have a great selection and great prices! The staff is always willing to help and accomate my needs!
