After a long day at work, my car broke down and I couldn’t make it home. I called AAA, but to my surprise, they dispatched a driver to Texas—I live in Ohio. Frustrated and exhausted, I started calling local tow companies, and I’m so thankful I found this one.
The young lady who answered the phone was incredibly kind and understanding. She could tell how stressed I was and acted quickly. As soon as I told her my location, the driver nearby (Driver 19—Brian) immediately said, “I know where she’s at—I’m on my way.”
Brian arrived even earlier than expected—much faster than AAA, who had me waiting for hours. He was kind, professional, and handled my lowered vehicle with care, loading it without a scratch.

An Unfortunate Breakdown
On the 26th, my car decided to stop working while we were on the freeway, a daunting 6 1/2 hours away from home. It was just me and my four kids, and the situation was nothing short of stressful. Stranded on the side of the road, I felt overwhelmed and concerned for our safety.

I was recommended by Lorain Police because I was locked out of my car. I called and Sara took care of me, she was kind and eager to help. Within 30 minutes, Nate arrived and had my door open within minutes after arrival. If I can give them 10 stars, I would, both Sara and Nate took care of me and every step from beginning to end, including the $50 for the service was above and beyond and I would recommend Sugar Ridge to everyone needing their services.
I couldn't of asked for better service. Driver was there 15 min after I called, driver was very helpful even trying a view tricks to aide me to save me a tow. Though that didnt work he was very careful with my vehicle knowing the trans was locked up and gingerly got on flat bed. Highly recommend.

They were the most reasonable and kindest tow company that I had dealt with that day.. And when you are already dealing with a stressful situation, Kindness goes along way. This establishment will tow your vehicle, inflict damage upon it, and subsequently return it in a condition that may jeopardize your safety while driving it home without letting you know it's not safe to drive. After you take the vehicle to a repair shop to verify the damage caused by the negligent actions of the tow truck companyr, you may find yourself speaking with the unprofessional owner or manager. During this conversation, when you politely inquire about their insurance provider, you are likely to encounter a person who most likely has never faced consequences for their behavior and will rudely deflect blame to you immediately without taking into consideration it's possible this damage might have been caused when removing the truck from the flatbed. You may be met with a dismissive response, stating, "We didn't do anything to your truck, and I'm not paying you anything, take me to court." It is my hope that an establishment that endangers lives by returning a damaged vehicle without disclosure will ultimately be held accountable for their actions in a court of law.

Ed and his team were so helpful over the weekend. I called for a tow but Ed diagnosed the issue and helped get the vehicle running. You don't find people as honest and trustworthy as Ed these days! Would highly recommend Sugar Ridge Towing.
I never really write reviews but the service I had here was awful. I was told that the price for my tow when I called would be no more than 75 dollars- I agreed and called the tow in. I get my bill in a few days after hassling with insurance and the tow alone is 140 dollars. Almost double the amount I had confirmed over the phone. I was very understanding and asked if there maybe had been a mistake with the billing as I was told over the phone it would be no more than 75 dollars. The man working there (he wasn't wearing a nametag so I don't know his name) was extremely dismissive and a bit rude to both me and my grandmother, who was there to help me as this is my first accident. Overall just a horrible experience.

I had 0 PSI in my tire and couldn't risk limping to a shop a mile away. I called while emotionally distraught and was calmed by who answered the phone. They were straightforward with price and were so kind. They were at my location within 10 minutes and got me where I needed to go.
Backed down a driveway and made too wide of a turn...2 wheels on the driveway and 2 wheels off...was stuck. Made a call to Sugar Ridge from thier Website, and Matt showed up in less than 30 minutes!! He was polite, told me exactly what to do, and got me unstuck in less than 10 minutes!! No damage to my car at all! I was extremely blessed that it was no charge and I am forever grateful! Thank you all sooo much, especially Nate and the dispatcher who took my frantic call! Nate was there to help within minutes. I work for Geese Chasers Ohio and after working on a site, i loaded my work dog up in the car and accidentally locked my keys in the car. It was full sun and close to 80 degrees outside and I was panicking knowing the inside of the car would heat quickly. Police wouldn't help me. Today I stopped at drug mart to pick up a prescription to come out to my car not starting. Upon calling sugar ridge towing the secretary Marla was very professional very friendly and quick to help me sending a tow truck driver right away. Upon the tow truck driver Edwin arriving in a fashionably quick matter he was very professional very friendly very caring how he handled my car and took extreme care when arriving at the service department where it needed towed. In my personal opinion I would highly recommend this company for your towing needs. I know I will for sure. Oh...and they were very reasonable in their price for the tow. Sugar Ridge was the only company that made or had time for my need of a battery jump yesterday. They arrived promptly and while we weren't able to get my vehicle started, the driver was friendly, courteous, and polite. I called them back for a tow today and once again they arrived promptly and the driver was friendly, courteous, and polite. The woman I talked to when I called was also friendly and helpful. They are the only company I will use from now on.
I broke down with my Semi last week and Ed was kind enough to let me store it in his lot for a reasonable amount for a week. When I got there this week to load it on my trailer, he and his staff were very welcoming and helped me any way they could. Ed treated me like we had been friends for years. My tire was literally coming off my car and I thought it was gonna automatically need towed but Brian made it so that I could make it home safe where I can fix it myself and saved me a few bucks. I unfortunately had to make him wait with me to be paid but he was super patient and understanding and I was just extremely appreciative! Very professional and polite ! (The photo was taken after he lifted the car up… my tire just fell over…)
