I called to ask questions about a windshield washer reservoir, and even though they didn't help it.The young man that helped me was named Mike and he was very, very kind, and helpful!
My son and I were out of town when my truck started overheating I luckily found the Autozone store in Proctorville OH close by.I went in and spoke with the manager David Abel he came out and helped me to look over the issue we found I had a heater core hose that was pouring antifreeze. David was able to find the parts i needed quick and they even helped me to get the hose fixed and back on the road in no time.I have to say this day and time customer service like this is unheard of I absolutely can't thank him enough he went above and beyond to try and help me and I would gladly go back to that store any time and would highly recommend that anyone needing anything try them as well you won't regret it!!!
I called around needing a battery testing and replacement, and immediately spoke with super nice employees. My battery was tested and replaced by employee Tyler, and he is by far one of the best! He is so nice, honest, and knowledgeable about all the questions we had. We came back today for another visit, because Tyler was working and I needed a reverse light replacement. He again, exceeded our expectations and took care of the job very quickly! Will be visiting again for any problems they can fix, and trust him with our business!
I needed my check engine light checked the other day.
I was told they didn't have a code reader and that they were also having technical difficulties for several days due to a code reader tripping their systems after plugging it in the last time they did use one.
Normally, I receive good customer service from here, but lately, I've not gotten the same customer service as before.
However, they always have what I need.
I'm not sure if it was just a bad day or if the moral has gone down since my visit before last.
I wish all the Autozoners the very best!
Their job may appear to be easy, but things are not as they appear.
Mason is very nice young man, went up and beyond. Mason came to the marathon gas station down the road to help, mind you he didn't have to, but he did. My car battery died, and Mason came to the gas station 3-4 times to get his tools, even after during his delivery he came back to help install the battery. Mason is a really helpful, knowledgeable young man, really went out of his way, and he installed the battery himself and tested it afterwards. He definitely knows what he's talking about, I was there two weeks ago with the same problem but got help from a different associate and gave me the wrong info, but Mason was able to help me with me instead.:) He definitely has a bright career in automotives ahead of him and if you need your car worked on, we HIGHLY recommend asking for Mason. Thank you again if you're seeing this.
Worst experience I have had with a retail store. Tried to find the right bulb for my truck. After the store computer said a certain one would fit I bought it and tried it in the parking lot it did not fit. So went in and returned the one the computer said would work and bought a different one that looked like the old bulb that went out. I tried that one it didn’t fit. So I went in to return that one and that’s when Shane the supposed to be manager threw a fit on me saying I was costing the company hundreds of dollars by going out and trying different bulbs to fix my truck. He yelled and said “if the computer says this bulb will fit then it will fit you are doing it wrong show me where you tried it” we proceeded to go out side in the parking lot to my truck walking threw the doors he went out first and closed the door in my face. Got to my truck he tried to insert the bulb and guess what it wouldn’t fit. Guess what no apology for the bulb the computer said would fit that he swore was right. We went back in side and once again he went inside first and this time he grabs the door with both hands and tried to slam it shut I’m sure that’s on camera but we know the public will never see that. After all that he finally returns my $12.99 that I paid for for the second set of bulbs. Then proceeded to turn to the associate that was helping me in the first place and say “I’ll make sure to tell Mark about this situation so you will get in trouble”.
I WILL NOT BUY A THING FROM AUTO ZONE AGAIN!

Came in had to order my part, no problem paid in advance, came back in next morning picked it up, wrong part then was told it was vendor specific only, got refund went to O'Reilly auto parts and picked up correct part that same morning.
My opinion this is the best parts place to go to they are very friendly and helpful Amy and shane are the best very friendly don't care to stand and talk and joke with you and if you have a problem they will take care of you and to the rest of the crew keep doi g way you are doing guys are the best proctirville Ohio Auto zone is number one
Great place with great prices. The management and staff are the best. Their knowledge and courtesy are the best of any automotive store I have shopped in. I recommend this store to everyone in the area.
I stood to buy a Car Cover The Fellow Went Beyond What Ivesen anywhere.I asked If he was For SURE It would fit,Ge said Let's go Try it On
And We did. You cant hardly Find anyone to Really Help you Now A Days. So a Big Five Stars for this Place! From a little Lady that was Impressed. ( Just yesterday).
The wrong part was pulled but the associate Brittany caught it and corrected the problem before it became one !!! The store manager Shane is kind, and very knowledgeable !
First let's start with the lady had a difficult time looking up a brake caliper. Once she got to the correct vehicle. She asked if I could tell her what it looked like because she couldn't find the part. Then when she got close to it she tried selling me just the bracket. Finally got her to realize I needed the caliper, not the bracket. I come back in to get the core charge back. Luckily I'm the only one in there. She has a customer on speaker phone that is paying over the phone with a card. She doesn't pick up the phone while I'm standing there. She lets him read his credit card number, exp date, and the security code. Big mistake. Other than a mildly frustrating experience and blatant no f's given to customer saftey, the store was just fine.
