Worst store ever. I have given this place time after time, chances and they still seem to mess it up, get home with wrong parts, parts not on time when ordered and paid for. Always a new face in the store. They hire anyone who wants to say they have a job. Terrible place. Give it a try and you will see for yourself. But don’t say I didn’t warn you

I love Auto Zone! They saved me money! I replaced my cabin/glove box filter and engine filter for $45.02. If I had the dealer do this it would have been $100 more for my Hyundai SUV. The great thing is John D. installed them for me in about 5 mins. He was very knowledgeable and very professional. The store in Mentor on Andrews Ave is my "go to" for reasonably priced auto accessories and outstanding customer service.

Had terrific customer service from Jay, the manager....spent about half an hour with me, fixing my key fob for my Buick. Jay definitely went "above and beyond" - kudos to Jay and his wonderful team!!

My driver side windshield wiper broke off while I was driving tonight in a rain storm. Thanfulky I made it to Autozone to get a replacement and they were kind enough to install the new wiper (in the rain) for me! Great service!

If you’re looking a quick, efficient, and kind experience while repairing your car, Paul is your guy. I was overly exhilarated with the treatment I received at Auto Zone. They had me out and back on the road extremely efficiently, but not without leaving me feeling connected and valued amongst their friendly staff. They made me feel appreciated as a customer, which is rare these days. Paul- I will be back!

I needed a headlamp for my car. Paul took care of my problem & installed both at no charge. I told him I needed to get my brakes done & he recommended an excellent business! I trust their judgment and I will be going there from now on! I had a excellent visit!

The only autozone I use! I’ll drive the extra 5 mins. All extremely helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. Nothing worse than going to one of these stores and having someone with a bad attitude (happens a lot). These guys are great.

Lexi acknowledged me,other employees just pretended like I wasn't there. I get you were busy, but still takes nothing to acknowledge someone standing in line. Lexi then proceeded to help me with my battery. Thank you, Lexi, you ROCK!!

Before I even leave my review don't even bother replying with one of your double talk apologies. I ordered a part said would be in at 630. They called me said it was ready for pickup. I drive there he finds it and says he can't give it to me because his truck delivery bwas one item short. Not my item but someone else's. So I said that's not my fault . It's there job as a employee to check manifest at delivery make sure everything is there before calling me. So there was my item I needed for that day they wouldn't sell to me. Corporate was contacted and will see what they have to say. Rude and unprofessional person I dealt with. Others at store were very nice other times.

I was helped by Robert G the other day changing my battery. Even though It was cold out and early in the morning, he was friendly and happy to help. Very personable guy and knowledgeable in his craft. If you go to this store and need help, ask for Robert G. He’s the man!

Robert G was great! I needed a battery, having to have mine jumped. What a disappointment to go to start the car only to hear...nothing. Robert installed a new battery (Thanks, Robert!) into my car in freezing weather with a cheerful smile and a heartfelt attitude. Turned my awful day around in no time!

Awesome staff. Although there were issues changing the wiper blades on my car, James & “I forgot to get his name” were so helpful. They were out of one of the sizes I needed so James called another store & had them put it aside for me to pick up. Both stores gave customer service that is above & beyond. Would recommend to anyone & everyone.

I wish I could remember their names but all 3 were so helpful. I needed a turn signal bulb put in. It was a challenging task. My bulb wasn’t burned out it was just missing a connector. The one gentleman tried m tried then came up with an idea that worked. When first went in I was greeted very nicely then I said something funny n we all just took it from there telling more bad jokes. Hopefully I made their day by laughing as much as they made my day by helping me for so long. I really appreciate it guys!!!!

By far the best service I have received. I went in with custom pullys for a supercharged set up hoping they could just help me find the bearings to just replace them instead of spending hundreds on new ones. The manager Rob and worker Zack spent over an hour while still serving others looking through boxes until we found the right ones had no numbers on the bad bearings to reference from. They could of said sorry buddy and sent me on the way. Truly appreciated and have locked me in as a loyal customer. Saved me hundreds and a lot of messing around.

Needed a new battery installed. Purchased one at Mentor Ave store but they couldn't figure out how to remove old battery. Took it to Mentor on Lake store instead. Jason (Jay) worked tirelessly through a massive downpour/thunderstorm to figure out how to get the old battery out and put the new one in. Jay was awesome! I will use this location again because of this great experience.

A few days back, me, my girlfriend and my 15 month old son were heading to a park when the car started acting funny. Immediately I changed course and headed straight for AutoZone, the mentor on the lake location to be exact. Upon arrival I was greeted by A manager named Rob. I explained the symptoms in regards to the car and he was quick and eager to help find the solution. He decided on a battery and alternator test. The tests showed the battery was only at 9%, and the alternator was in fact very dead. Rob was extremely helpful with explaining everything. He then brought me inside, and guided me to the alternator I needed, and explained in detail the steps I had needed to take to change the alternator. The service I received was remarkable! The car runs like a top again. Huge shout out to Rob, 10/10, would recommend!

I cannot stress how great the staff is, they can help you with all your vehicle needs! There was never a time I went there for something and they did not have it! This would easily 5 stars, but the checkout machines are very slow or do not work sometimes, and they cannot even look up your member card with your phone number or anything? These are not faults of the staff, as the employees are great!

My wife had a blown brake light on her 09 Honda Pilot. I’m unable to do the job right now so we rolled into AutoZone, Mentor On the Lake. Chip came out with the bulb to take care of the job. It was really cold out. Unfortunately, when he attempted to pop the body clip with his tool, it knocked a small piece out of the fixture. Nothing about the chip would compromise the function or the integrity of the lens assembly. He immediately went inside with my wife to order a new assembly. He was having trouble locating one, so he told my wife that he would call her and give her an update as soon as he located one. Within minutes of leaving the store, she got a call that the part had been located and that it would be in the next day. WOW! Guys, this is GREAT customer service! We were unable to get to the store the next day, so we went on Saturday. Rob came out with the new part, from Honda. He had to go get the part from them early on Friday morning. Apparently the dealership does not deliver to parts stores. Rob has the new light assembly installed in about 5 minutes. Again, GREAT service. I’ve always found the team at this store to be super helpful when I need a part to fix my vehicles when they need repair and I can do it. From scanning the check engine codes and telling me what they mean to tips on how to make the repair go smoothly, the guys and gals at this location are always so willing to offer advice and are so helpful getting the correct part. Great Job.

Store #1744 mentor on the lake Ohio. Rob G was excellent. I could not get my headlight bulb in on my 04 sonata. Totally inaccessible, tight fit and on top of it the pin to hold the bulb in was ridiculously hard to clip. This guy had it in for me in about 10 minutes. He couldn't have been any more friendly and courteous. Such a great experience. I didn't even buy the bulb from AutoZone and they still took their time to install it, free of charge. I'll recommend them to anyone. Thanks again Rob and AutoZone for saving me a possible ticket and lighting up the road ahead of me !

This is my daily stop after work, building my dream car. Rob G is a great dude helps me get what i need no matter what and is very resorceful. The whole staff is great in comparison to other auto stores. Easily the best place i have spent my money in as far as customer service , product and returning for more. 10/10.

I was in last week and LANCE took really good care of me. He ordered my part really fast, was very friendly and beyond helpful. LANCE really knew what he was doing and I just can’t thank him enough. If I could give him a 10 star rating I would. Will definitely return.

Loved how the service went over & beyond for helping me! Awesome friendly staff. He put my window wipers on and someone else helped fix my burnt out light bulb. (Separate visit) and a really nice lady helped me with my lights on dash printout ! (Separate time and she saved me money) on this issues on my car! Thanks AutoZone!

I am very pleased with the service I received this morning .Tyler was very knowledgeable and helped me find the right size wiper blade at a decent price.Robert was also very helpful,making phone calls to have questions answered for me about the rewards card.Thank you for installing the blade as well.
