I've been looking around for some reputable salvage company to buy my junk vehicle with no success. It was important for me to find a place that kept their word because I'm an administrator on Fremont City News and I like to have first hand experience with a business because with 23000 members, I want businesses advertising on the page to be the best.
After contacting another salvage yard advertising on FCN, I was confused because not only did they not show up on the time agreed on, they called a week later saying they forgot about me and they wanted to pick it up then. I told them I would rather sell it to a business that did what they say they do.
Fastforward to to Buckeye Auto Sales/MK Recycling. Not only were they their when they said they would be, their truck driver Jeff Carman is an amazing people person. ( I tested him by asking question after question) If this man was irritated, he never showed it and he answered everything I asked no matter how irrelevant.
Overall I recommend them highly and will do so on FCN as well. Offering up the best business I can find for what they advertise helps our 23000 readers should they need the same services.
Mark was honest and very fair with the price he paid to scrap our truck. He also went out of his way to coordinate the pick up and haul it on our schedule. Highly recommend his services.
Very rude man! I called to inquire if they accepted scrap metal( I had 15cyds) he did not give a clear answer. Then I asked do you guy take aluminum cans.. he was quick to respond rudely No! No! NO CANS! THEN HE HUNG UP. YOU WOULD THINK I WAS TRYING TO SELL HIM ENCYCLOPEDIAS. Obviously this man needs better etiquette skills if he is going to answering phones. First and last time I try to do business with him.
