I recently had a major repair done to an SUV here. They ran into an unexpected problem that caused extra work, but they kept the original quote I paid which was helpful because we were already pretty deep into the value of the vehicle. Other members of my family also use this location and are happy with the service.

Went into Tuffys, Whitehall to get an estimate for shocks and struts on my Nissan Murano which another shop told me I needed. They wouldn't even give me an estimate without driving and inspecting the vehicle first to determine for sure what was needed and if there would be other parts would need to be replaced that support the shocks and struts. Well I was very glad they done that because they told me that only the rear shocks needed replaced, not the front struts ( which saved me around $900) but that the sway bars on the front needed replaced which was only about $200 and they could do it that day. They took me home and brought the car back to me when finished and WOW, what a difference !! I'm very glad they done the inspection prior to replacing them like I had asked for the estimate for and was honest enough to tell me the struts were not bad in the front. I will definitely be a repeat customer for all my auto repairs and maintenance from now on.

I'm sorry i didn't know about this place sooner. The staff is amazing. You know how sometimes you feel as if you're being taking advantage of by car mechanics? Well this was not the case here. Alaina is amazing and explained what I needed and why. I decided to wait the 3 hours while my car was being worked on and her hospitality was superior. She made me feel like family. I highly recommend Tuffy in Whitehall as they are now my new service center for life. Thanks guys! Oh if you have an issue with the military, then this is not your place, they definitely honor the military, the decor is awesome!

Great service! The receptionnist Mrs. Miller told me exactly what to expect and stayed in communication with me while my truck was being worked on. Mr. Miller gave me a complete explanation and the diagnosis and solution. I only wish I would have taken my truck into them sooner. Replaced tailight harnesses due to traffic sensorsvand Blind side assist. I have finally found a great family auto garage!

This Tuffy feels like it is from another time, back when communities were small, everyone knew everyone, and neighbors took care of each other as they would their own family. I trust the staff of this Tuffy impeccably to not only treat each vehicle they touch with the care and attention they would of it belonged to their own family, but to go the extra mile to explain, prioritize, and go the extra mile to take care of their customers. They even make waiting for your vehicle feel like you are visiting with friends even on your first visit. They have gone above and beyond to help me out in car crisises, staying very late so I wouldn't be without a car, telling me realistically what is a safety concern vs can wait a while, and being a pure joy to work with. Cars breaking is always stressful, but this family makes it the best experience possible.

I have never had a bad experience with Tuffy regardless of which shop I use. I recently changed to the Whitehall location due to a job change and experienced the same great service. They were able to schedule an appointment quickly. I needed brakes, oil change, and wipers. They got me in quickly, communicated the cost clearly and we're able to work with my schedule. I highly recommend for affordable auto maintenance.

Wow! What an amazing experience! I went for an oil change. I was referred by a friend. He said Rob would take care of me and he was right but I spoke more with Alana! Not only did I get my oil changed but we had great conversation and listened to music that made us all want to cry! Lol! It was a great time! Having a longer wait wasn't so bad with such great company! We will definitely be back for more work!

I was referred to Tuffy by a neighbor Auto Repair place that doesn't work on my vehicle. I read the reviews before coming in. When I called Friday and scheduled for service on Monday... I found the person who answered to be helpful and professional. I had resigned myself to be at their mercy because I didn't know what was wrong with my car because I've only had it a few months and it's older. Well... Based off reviews and referral .. I felt I was in best situation I could be for an unknown situation. AAA towed it there.. By Monday afternoon...Alaina explained my situation..helped me to figure out how to pay for it ??‍♀️... And by 3 something I was called by the initial young man letting me know my vehicle was ready! (They were incredibly patient with my two year old granddaughter .. I also have to mention). When I drove away... It felt new. I'm really happy with the service and repair I received at Tuffy. I loved the environment inside also... It felt like love for family, community and country. In that ... they seemed to have pride in their work and business. That's wonderful. Thanks again!

Great place. We have trusted these guys with our vehicles for years. My husband and I have been bring our vehicles here for over 20 years. Rob tells you what's going on with your vehicle and gives his opinions on what should be done to keep your vehicle running. It's the only place we trust with our cars.

The owners Rob and Alana are very knowledgeable as well as all the mechanics. They will look at car and give quote and let you know all the costs before you make a decision on what you want done or if you can't get everything done they will give you the items that cant .wait truthfully. I've have all the trust in this company my whole family gets their work done here.

People there were very helpful and friendly. They communicated everything to well inform me in detail what needs to be done, what else could be done, and the quote was precisento the end result. They didn't pressure me for added service. However, explained the outcomes. It was very affordable and timely. The most pleasant auto repair I have ever experienced in a very long time. You really need to check out their facebook page. If they do not answer... they are truly busy serving other customers. They will get back to you. 10 stars!!!

Rob and staff has been my ONLY mechanic for over 25 years. I wouldn't think of taking my business anywhere else. The job is always done right the first time. The pricing is always fair. Great People doing great work! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing top quality car repair.

Great and understanding people to work with. From the owner down to the technicians, i was treated really good and they finished my truck way before quoted time. They definitely have my business on any other vehicle i may need fixed. O well definitely suggest working with them

GREAT PLACE TO GET YOUR CAR SERVICED OR HAVE YOUR BATTERY CHARGED.. NICK WILL EVEN TAKE THE BATTERY OUT OF THE VEHICLE FOR YOU EVEN THOUGH HE'S NOT ON THE CLOCK.. WAS PROBABLY JUST MESSING.. BUT SERIOUS.. WE NEEDED SERVICE AND THEY MEASURED UP.. MR. MILLER'S WIFE AT THE FRONT DESK WAS AWESOME SAUCE..

This shop is absolutely amazing. I've gotten nothing but kind, professional, and solid service from the staff. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Would definitely recommend anyone to go there for car work. Great prices and quick in and out times.

I only take my car to these guys! Rob (the manager) is an absolute gem of a man who can answer any car related question you have, and the service team is second to none! A feller by the name of Hunter was very engaging and did an excellent job getting my tire pressure just right, and Nick (sp?) was both very clear and informative up front, then did an amazing job finding out what was wrong with my car (it wasn't accelerating properly), got the part I needed that day, and I was back on the road later in the evening! Best shop in Whitehall by FAR, if not in all of Central Ohio!

I love this place. They are awesome and do awesome work!!! Native Detroiters that I trust bc I'm from Detroit and where better to service cars than someone who knows the ropes from the Motor City?!? I saw great reviews and tried them out. I have not been disappointed and I'm happy to know I have a mechanic team that will do right by me and my family while here in Columbus.

Had a pressing (LOUD) brake/rotor issue. They were able to see me on short notice, diagnosed the problem and completed the fix within a couple hours. The entire team was professional and courteous, communication was great and the work was well done and in an efficient manner. Not your everyday mechanic experience.

I do the routine and minor service on all my vehicles myself and when I have something that I cant tackle I take my vehicles to Tuffy in Whitehall. Great service and prices. I prefer to make appointments drop my vehicle off the night before and pick it up when it's done. Busy work and home schedules, I dont like waiting. Key drop box at this location makes this possible for me. Thanks for the service and price. My 15 year old truck drives likes its brand new again.

I went to Tuffy's for years and never had a problem until recently. I took my SUV in because it was shaking, and despite being told it was fixed it continued to shake and I had to bring it back every Saturday for 3 weeks, paid over $1000, and waited for hours with two toddlers and NOT ONE PERSON APOLOGIZED including Rob. Just to be told I warped my brakes by stepping on them too hard even though I just paid them to fix my front and back brakes and I didn't drive my car at all between then fixing it and it shaking again. After the 3rd time my car didn't shake but my brakes squeaked so of course I called and was told fresh brakes can just do that sometimes. So before going on a long trip for work I took my car to the dealer for a second opinion just because I wanted to make sure, turns out the wrong size rotors were put on. Of course I brought this to Tuffy's attention and they denied it being possible, ONLY after taking pictures, getting a statement from the dealers mechanic and practically having to scream did they finally fix it. And even though I saw Rob again at my last encounter still not one person said sorry, if anything they had an attitude with me. I was shocked and appalled at their lack of costumer service, especially after being such a loyal customer for about ten years.

Awesome, from the professionalism to the work ethic. They are Amazing group to work with when needing car repairs. They give you fair prices, explain your issue and fix it with a smile. Family oriented and treat you like family. Love Whitehall Tuffy!!

I had a fuel line gas leak and brought my car to Tuffy. Rob worked on my car and had it done before the time stated. He made sure everything was done right and made sure I was more than satisfied!!! I need the car to take my husband to his chemo and cancer doctor appointments. Rob made sure I had the car back so I could get my husband to his chemo on time the next day. If i could give 10 stars i would!!! Thank you Rob and thank you Tuffy for helping people like my husband and i get our car repaired so we can do what is so important in our lives!!!! You are the best!!!

This is the only place I will let work on my car. Rob and his team are AWESOME! Always very friendly and informative. They do a great job and don't try to talk you into any extra not needed services. Rob let's you know if you need to take care of the problem soon or can wait a while. Get a Tuffy credit card and get 6 months same as cash to pay. I ABSOLUTELY do no trust anyone else with my Mercedes. THANKS! Rob and Team! You are the BEST!!!!

Rob has been taking care of my work and personal vehicles for about two years and I won't even think of going anywhere else. Nicest people and I feel like I've put him through the ringer with all my car problems. Always lets me know all my options and prices before anything gets started.
