So nice and professional! Got to my house quickly in very cold weather conditions and they safely towed my car with a dead battery to my Hyundai dealership. Would use them again!
This is the most ridiculous and least helpful towing company I've ever encountered. Aaron was nice, but the owner is intentionally obstinate. He refuses to do what is clearly right, just because he has the power to make it difficult. We all know that guy. He claims that they cannot remove my STOLEN license plates from a truck on their lot unless I drive there and prove that I used to own the vehicle my plates are on. Either that, or I can somehow get permission from the guy who stole my plates so I can drive overan hour to take the tags off and throw them away. In short, I have to either get the guy who stole my tags to write an admission, or spend tomorrow at the title office to see if I can buy a copy of the vehicle title the tags used to be registered to so I can drive over an hour to remove them and throw them away. I don't want the plates back, mind you. I just want them to take them off and throw them away so I don't get anymore tickets in the mail, or anything worse. They are stolen for Pete's sake.
Bringing them the parking ticket the thief got in my name "might" work, but I'll have to drive the hour plus to find out. The very helpful woman at the City of Columbus parking division was so excited when she found out that the vehicle had been towed. She thought that it would be great to get the tags back without having to wait for the police to track this guy down. Little did we know about Shamrock. I can promise you that if that vehicle gets picked up and anything bad happens with my tags on it, there will be a huge lawsuit coming to Shamrock. They can't claim they didn't know.
Brad was my driver and picked up my car to take it to the dealership for repair. He was so kind, communicative, and just friendly. His service made my situation I was dealing with so much more pleasent. The inside of his vechicle was also clean and well kept. Great service. Please let him know!
Terrible business and awful humans. I have no idea how they stay in business. They are rude, disgusting and nasty people. They towed a 62 year old woman's car from a spot she has been using and paying for better half of a decade now, they claimed her pass wasn't in the car; but it was. Then over the phone told her that she could pick it up this time free of charge but to display her pass better going forward. If that is all that happened it could be chalked up to a misunderstanding. BUT then when we actually arrived there the man behind the counter told her she would not get the car back without paying even after she went out and showed him the pass. She had to be in court to meet clients and could not stand there to argue so agreed to pay it under the durress of having no other way to get her car back and needing to meet multiple clients she agreed to pay for now but did so only under durress. This man then began acting like a child holding the credit card thing just out of reach and pulling it away when she went to reach for it then when she said she wasnt going to play that game and asked him to hand her card back he told her to reach for it under the slot. At that point she called me, a grown man in my 30s of good health and stature and began pulling my phone out to record and all of a sudden he had no problem giving her, her card back. This man stank of BO and alcohol, which says a lot because I can't imagine what he would smell like if he stepped out from behind the glass but both him and I knew he wasn't going to do that because this is the kind of man who can only be tough with and belittle a woman. Businesses please contract with literally anyone but shamrock, they are horrible
I have heard the stories about this company but i cannot express the love the gave me.My Brothers truck was towed because he collapsed with a brain tumor and rushed to the hospital .We did not know of the tumor till they got there and did a scan.He was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that spread to the brain. Anywho, I went to get the truck out of impound where I met Ina forgive me if I miss spelled her name but she is a absolute Angel.When I got the truck out it needed to be towed to Gallipolis Ohio we had AAA But they would not tow it there with out registered tags (That Ina warned me about she was correct) because my brother forgot to get them, (Hence resort back to tumor information he forgot everything at this point and hid his symptoms). Anyway they were kind enough to let me keep the truck in there parking lot for darn near 13 days!!! I think ? Maybe more or less everything is a blur to me. When they could have gotten much more storage money from us! But anyway Shamrock towing will be my go to for any type of service as far as I'M CONCERNED AND I WILL SPREAD THE WORD MY EXPERIENCE ABOUT THEM IF i HEAR ANY BS BEING SPREAD ABOUT THEM. Had to have someone towed for parking in my numbered, designated spot. Everyone I spoke to was really friendly and kind! Apartment has some sort of partnership with them, which is why they were called, but I’d use them again if I were to need something in future elsewhere!
They say 24/7 Immediate service on their website, but when I called, he said "we can't do it today, we have to do it tomorrow." I guess in their business mindset, roadside assistance and emergencies don't happen on holidays!
They over charge and they have bad attitudes. They are not allowed to charge storage fees for when they are not opened. They charged my friend $70 in storage fees. So unprofessional. However, I will receive back what's owed to me.
if i could give this place zero stars, i would. worst towing company in ALL of ohio. the rude lady who was yelling at my family and me on the phone yesterday (DURING AN EMERGENCY), you need to be fired immediately. if you don't like you're job, LEAVE. don't take your anger out on customers just because you hate your life. mind you, we JUST sold another one of our totaled cars to this stupid location two months ago and i regret it so much. so unprofessional, no wonder you work at this trashy company. i will never in my life call or come back to this place.
Shamrock was so professional, which was a refreshing change of pace! I had tried three times for my insurance roadside assistance to tow my car out of a parking garage with low clearance, and they couldn’t get it right. Shamrock came exactly when they said they would and towed it without any issues. Next time I’ll skip the shenanigans and go straight to Shamrock!
I wish I could give them negative stars. They towed my car away from COSI underground garage - L2 level of Dorian Gray (managed by LAZ parking ) without leaving behind any stickers or information or a bare minimum text message because apparently somebody complained that it was causing obstruction on the ramp.

It was pure agony for 3 hours when we were frantically calling police and thinking that our car was stolen , because there was NO information on vehicle impounding from the police. When I charged Shamrock about it , they challenged me saying they are not obliged to inform anyone about anything.
I don’t know what kind of a racket these people are running.
I wish I could give them less stars. My son and his girlfriend were in a car accident on Saturday, 02/08/25. They did NOT request a tow. Genoa PD did. The car was drivable. Not pretty, but drivable. And they have insurance PLUS AAA. The accident was on the Worthington Road / Lewis Center road intersection (you know, the one that has had 300 accidents in the last year). The distance from that intersection to Shamrock's yard is less than 5 miles. They charged $780 for the tow and associated fees. SEVEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY DOLLARS. Not only that, but they threw pieces from the OTHER car into the back of my son's car (a tire and axel). We will be pursuing this further but I needed to let you all know DO NOT USE SHAMROCK. If you see them coming to tow your car, REFUSE THEM. They are 100% robbing people already in a vulnerable state.
Beware of hidden charges when dealing with this company. I was quoted a price of $100.00 plus $5.00 per mile. My vehicle was towed 9.2 miles and I was assessed an additional $50 charge because my axle broke completely during the loading process on the flat bed. I was charged a grand total of $218. You’re better off joining AAA and paying the 80 bucks for same day service. Buyer beware.
Shamrock towing was so helpful in a time of need! They answered immediately, sent a driver within 30 minutes (in a non-emergency situation), went above and beyond to accommodate my need to get to work in a timely manner, and delivered my car to be fixed. They were professional and efficient!!
Criminal. That's what these folks are. My car was stolen and wafter a week of being missing Worthington Police recover it and since it was locked and without keys they towed it and put a police hold on it (which is all fine), this happened at 6pm on a Friday Evening I was notified on Saturday and they had closed for the day and I wasn't able to recover my car. Come Monday, I find that in order to recover my car I am on the hook for $300, for a car that was stolen...
You read that right, I am the victim of a crime and they want to charge me.
The front office was rude and the "manager" and I got into an argument because they were afraid I would drive off with my car and not pay the 300$, despite having the police with me

Contacted these guys. Was told 100 fee for truck and 5 dollars a mile plus tax. Explained i need a roll back because my car was AWD. no mention of extra fees for that. When the driver gets to my car NO ROLL BACK but he has a dolly. He asks me to move the car behind his truck so it would be easier. I do that. Long story short. They charge me extra for LABOR to use the dolly. When I requested to talk to a manager she refused to talk to me. Think three times before calling.
Dispatch answered phone before listed hours and was friendly and helpful. Driver arrived 15 minutes after call and was friendly and worked efficiently. Took good care to secure vehicle and navigated traffic to final location. Price was fair and support was great.
Had to have a 1963 car relocated. Tasha took my information and did a great job. Shawn was the driver and was on time. He was very professional and took extra care as the car sets very low. At the drop off site he was almost able to put the car in the garage! I would recommend Shamrock. I will use them again. Thanks for the help Shawn great job!
Had a bag of tools stolen from my back seat along with the ball to my hitch after they had my fully paid off vehicle repossessed by copart. Received letter saying it would be claimed after 60 days. Had it towed off after 12 days. Unable to retrieve at time due to being in hospital
Horrible should be called Scamrock!!!! We came down for a football game. We're told to park in a certain spot, asked multiple times if it was the right spot and we were told yes. Came back after the game and my car was gone. I'm not the only car that was taken in that area either! While waiting for an lyft to come get us, we saw Scamrock come and take more cars. We had to pay $163 to get the car back. But we are taking legal action. This was a set up. They made bank this weekend scaming people.
Simply could not have had a better experience. Obviously needing a tow is never an ideal situation. Everyone at Shamrock was unbelievably fast, courteous, and professional. Joey was able to get my vehicle out of harms way without even leaving so much as a finger print on my car. Real white glove service I tell ya. Not only that but the older gentleman named Nelly gave me some fishing pointers that really worked!
This is a criminal enterprise!! I travelled to Columbus for a weekend, parked in a clearly marked paid lot, got the receipt and took screenshots of where I parked. Had the spot reserved for 24hrs, only to come back 2hrs later to my car being stolen, not reported to the authorities until the next day, come to find out that Shamrock Towing even lied on the paperwork as to the location of the vehicle, and when it was taken. When a call was placed to them after noticing the car gone, they claimed they didn’t have it, only to find out 4 days later that they actually did have it. They stole my vehicle with no reason, lied about it and held it for ransom for 4 days before revealing they had it, forcing me to PAY FOR MY CAR??? No way!!!! I have all the paperwork and screenshots, this won’t go unchecked!!!
Driver was courteous and helpful. HOWEVER, the charges were not what was represented. Was told that there was a hook-up fee and $5 per mile. My total charge should have been about 120 with tax. Was charged $25 for jump start, when they knew the car wouldn't start, (shouldn't the driver tell me that at the time and took all of 2 minutes), and a 4% credit card charge, which was not disclosed at time of booking. Their website says 5 free miles and no hidden fees ever. When I told them about the info on the site, they said it is outdated. How is it legal to charge and misrepresent their fees by just excusing it as outdated? Will not be using them again. One star is for charges that were not disclosed.
If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. For one, the customer service sucks. I was hung up on multiple times. The woman was talking over me. There was no supervisor available and there was no one else to speak with the lady said that she would be calling the police because I was trying to explain that my car had been wrongfully towed. The storage facility that they used to store the cars that had asked me to call the towing company in order to let them know that I had been driving my car the night before they had charged extra for a “24 hour” when it definitely had not been 24 hours. Being extremely rude, and I am rude back does not warrant calling the police, The police cannot arrest me for being rude to you. If you’re providing a service to people when they are looking to get their personal belongings back, it’s given that the person would be upset, but if you start off being rude to me, I am going to treat you the exact same way in return and if the company does see this review, I will be reporting you guys to the CFPB and the BBB, as a company, you do not deserve to be in service. My parking sticker that was in my window also magically disappeared?
I’ll start by saying the employee in the field was professional and level headed. I respect him and hope he wasn’t part of this company stealing my money. i was parked illegally, but I got to my car as they were lifitng it up. Obviously I was mad, but the employee told me I had to pay $65 for him to drop it right here, or it will be $180 at the tow yard. I agreed to pay the $65, but they charged my card for $180. I haven’t been able to get in contact with them at all. I would’ve given a good review just because of the field employee, but thieves deserve their hand chopped off. A 1 star review on google will have to serve for now
Fast, affordable, professional car lockout service. They arrived within 30 minutes, even though it was rush hour. Flawless transaction. Great customer service. For comparison: One business quoted me $100 and a 1 hour and 45 minute wait. AAA said I had to buy a membership PLUS pay a $75 "same-day" charge. A 3rd company....never picked up, I just sat on hold listening to music. 5 stars for Shamrock!
This is the worst place to be, my car has been missing for 2 months and when I called the police they informed me that shamrock towing has it. I did not get no letter. When I went to their office they told me that I have to pay over 1400 or they will keep the car. Office Clark was very mean and unprofessional.
