Harris Automotive was highly recommended to me by a friend who told me that he and his wife have been customers for years! I needed a tuneup for my car and also a brake light replaced. The estimated cost was actually a bit lower than I had anticipated. The work done was excellent and finished in a short amount of time. I didn't have an appointment but, they were able to accommodate me and get me in and out in just a couple of hours. I enjoyed a lovely wait in the very clean & comfortable waiting area which offered snacks and beverages (although I'm not aware if there is a cost for those) and also a television to keep folks entertained while they wait. My visit was just before Christmas so, the area was very festive for the holidays. As you can guess, I am a female, so I believe the overall look and feel of the business is just as important as the services rendered. This place is clean and much attention to details are given to make customers experience pleasant and worthwhile. Harris Automotive offers their customers top quality services. Excellent repair work, reasonable prices, and great customer service, make for a winning combination! I highly recommend this business and will be trusting them with my future automotive needs!

Booked a vehicle inspection for my sons car. Wanted a 2nd opinion from the original one from Firestone. Harris looked over the car found things that were not found at Firestone and things that were not needed but suggested by Firestone. Harris is a great local business. No upsale pressure or gouging. Son's car was fixed same day as inspection at a very reasonable price. Would always recommend them to anyone!

The staff were very courteous and diagnosed part of my muffler needed replaced. They completed the service. However, the original reason I took it to the shop did not get fixed. My car is still making a vibration/rattling sound when stepping on the gas. Supposedly, the muffler replacement should have fixed it. I don't think they drove the car after the muffler replacement to validate the noise was gone.
I can't falter them for the work they did, but they should have checked the issue I originally specified when taking the car to them.
I have been using Harris Automotive for the past three or four years. They do excellent work. They’ve done work on my daughter‘s car and I strongly recommend this company. Jeff is straightforward. Tells you what’s wrong. Gives you options and you choose, absolutely no hard pressure sales tactics, just a straight out good company to do business with. I will continue to use him when needed for my 2005 ES 330 with 199,750 miles on it and still runs perfectly.

I brought my SUV to Harris Automotive with a charging system issue. I was quoted over $500 to replace the serpentine belt and tensioner and was told my ac condenser "looked like it got really hot" and there might be more damage. On a hunch, I opted to have my car towed to a different full auto service place down Reynoldsburg New Albany Rd. Not only was my tensioner completely fine, the serpentine belt was the only thing that needed replaced. The cost was in line with Google's suggested cost for parts and repair. Even with the cost of the tow, I was still over $100 saved from unnecessary repairs and could have saved $300 total had I never set foot in this place (the $99 diagnostic and towing). They had been recommended to others in a neighborhood social media board.
I will never go there again after this experience. They lost my confident with this attempt to sell me parts and service I genuinely did not need.
Edit: Props to this business acknowledging their set--up on the condenser. (Compressor/Condenser--it's really priming and semantics at this point) I had it towed to Boyd's down the road from Harris when I suspected I was being overcharged for services I didn't need. And that was the correct assessment. My truck has been perfect. Bottom line-required fixes and recommended fixes are not the same thing even if the vendor response is accurate. Here the story is my tensioner was recommended to be replaced. At the shop, it was needed. Which is it? Boyd's told me what was needed. There were zero recommendations outside of the serpentine belt in their recommendations list- ZERO.
My vehicle was overheating. They were able to find the issue and fix it. They were upfront and clear about the process and pricing. Very professional and reasonably priced. We will come here again if we have any issues.

Recently we had to take our car in because the rear wheel was about to fall off. Jeff was very helpful with assessing the car and putting an estimate together quickly. Due to the cost of the repairs and the age of the car, my wife and I needed to weigh or options on moving forward with the repairs or moving on from a vehicle my wife loved.

I took my 81 Trans Am to the Westerville location for beginning of the summer cruise maintenance. They checked everything and made sure I was good to go and let me know of a couple issues that would need attention. I will make an appointment for this fall. I also took my 2005 Elantra in for strut issues to their Blackwick location. They got me in with no appointment since I didn't need the car for 3 - 4 days. The Elantra rides wonderfully. I will be back. Finding good mechanics and good customer service seems to be getting harder every day. I am glad I found Harris Automotive!!
Jeff and his team are great at communicating, offering fair pricing, and have a very quick turnaround. They have been our service provider for our company fleet vehicles and have proven themselves so much over the years I now use them for my family’s personal vehicles.

This crew always does a great job. They are responsive, honest, and knowledgeable. I grew up, going to the same mechanic for 25 years of my life. When we moved to the neighborhood, I was very worried about not having somebody I could trust with my car. They have done three services for me now and they have all been phenomenal. I have the same level of trust and confidence I used to have again.
