Harold is the best shop around been going to them for many years Keith and the team are the best my car is always fixed right the first time there the only shop I trust they are 100% honest I have referred them to family members who have had their cars fixed there and they all have told me they are fantastic
well priced compared to other shops in the area besides the Walmart car center, but nobody should go there anyways.
my only complaint is; I brought a car in at a scheduled time but was told that my car would sit until next available mechanic so scheduling is a bit vague, don't expect to get your car in, done and out in an hour, expect to drop it off and have to go pick it up.
Not a major complaint though, good service, good staff.
Wheels were torqued to spec mostly, one lug nut was a bit under torqued
Took my truck here to try and pass the emissions test I had a check engine light for small evap leak told them I had already replaced the purge valve. They sent me a link for an inspection that I did not want nor was it ever discussed and in the inspection hooked up the code reader and decided based off the code to do the purge valve I agreed thinking they would further diagnose it before replacing the part instead of going off the code. He said it was the cheapest thing they could have done to pass the check it ended up being around $490 with a $60 charge for the inspection wich they did take off acting like they're doing me a favor even though the inspection was never discussed. The check engine light came back on as soon as my truck had gone through the drive cycle. I believe they chose the easiest thing they could think to replace and did it just to get my truck out of there shop without doing any real diagnostics or work. If you dont want to do your job get a new one.
I had to go to this autoshop because it was closest to my house, because I knew I had a fuel leak and couldn’t go far. For my 2006 car it was $1,000 to fix. I said no, and still was charged $100 for just checking. Yes I knew i had to pay something but paying $100 to check things I didn’t ask you to check, when I knew what the problem was is absolutely ridiculous. When I dropped my car off they never gave me instruction about where to leave my key, and never offered their free loaner car. My mom has paid thousands to these people for her car, and last time asked “will this fix my issue with multiple lights coming on, on my dashboard” they said yes and the problem still occurs. Leaving my mom who is 65 and doesn’t have the cash to keep fixing her car like this, feeling defeated. Almost as if they want her to keep coming back to pay their ridiculous prices. I know it’s 2025 and everything is pricey but I feel as if they aren’t doing something right here. Every time I got an email or text promoting this place made me furious, I have since turned it off but for the shop- I wouldn’t recommend doing that anymore, if I can’t pay your prices as is I don’t want anything from you. People were nice-ish but the “sorry we couldn’t do more for you” felt fake and unnecessary to say. I do not recommend this place.
Been going here for a few yrs now and I must say they are not only friendly and professional but upfront and honest. This is what keeps me returning.I service both my vehicles there and never had a problem with any of the work that has been done.
I’ve been coming here for several years. All of the guys are great. They let you know what needs replaced immediately and or what can wait. Very professional and I trust them with my car.

They work hard to fit you in when you have an emergency and are fair with pricing. I won't take my vehicle any place else and have turned my family on to them as their neighborhood service station.

Herold Family Auto has been taking care of my car now for the past 3 years. They always do such a great job. Took care of brakes, front end work, new battery!....& today 4/2/25....got the rear shocks done. My car should be good now for a while! I had trouble with my jeep starting, and I had a noise that wasn't normal car noise. Keith was great, went above and beyond to get me in and back on the road by next day. He really was awesome, and the work that had to be done was reasonably priced. I definitely will be taking my car back to them. I've had work done there before and it's been quality work... no issues after like I've dealt with at another car repair shop. If you are looking for a repair shop that's actually going to fix your issue and be straight with you on everything including the cost, make your appointment at Herolds. Thank you again Keith! Herold Family Auto and Tire is the absolute best and 10/10 recommend!! I had an oil leak and they are the first place I’ve ever had my car serviced that took me under the car to explain what the issue was and what my options were. I also had to change my original appointment same day and they were flexible and understanding. Definitely get your service here!!
I just started going to Herold’s last year and I really like them! They do an excellent job, and are very friendly! They answer all our questions and have master technicians who can handle any job. They have “rental” cars if you need one while they work on yours at no cost! They also text you when they have openings etc if you need an oil change etc. They communicate very well and the best part is their prices are lower than our previous mechanic! Try them out and you’ll be as happy as we are!
Who likes taking their car in for repair? Nobody does. But what matters most is how you feel when your car is fixed right the first time and you're smiling when you leave.
