The plus is they had what I needed. The minus was that the associate that said he was the only one in the store that knew how to program keyfobs, was not willing to dig deeper to find the problem. I purchased a keyfob for my 2014 Ram 1500. He said everything worked except for the remote start feature and that something must be wrong with my truck. I told him the remote start feature worked this morning. I have enough electronic and mechanical experience to know something was wrong with either the programming or the remote. I figured I would look into it first, before accusing the associate. When I got back to our office, I took the new remote apart only to find that the metal disc that completes the circuit for the remote start feature had been put under the wrong terminal of the remote. I just simply moved it to the correct terminal. The remote now works fine. And it was not the fault of the vehicle. I'm not sure if it came from the factory this way or if the associate had mistakenly assembled it incorrectly. What bothered me is that he was not even willing to look into it or try another remote. Maybe they didn't have another. I don't know. I would have gladly waited; I would have come back another day if he had to order one. I just wanted to have what I paid for. Either way, what I have works now that I fixed it. Perhaps he needs a refresher course on customer service.
Manager was able to install my Volvo car battery, it wasnt easy but he managed even though it was freezing out. Give him so much credit for not giving up on it.
I purchased a Battery in January 2025...This Battery recently tested Sulfated and unchangeable. I called this location and they informed me to come in for a warranty replacement ( Dec 14 2025). I arrived from my 45 min drive and the associate Angel tested the battery @ 9.4 volts. This associate then said we need to try a different tester. This tester was @ 10.4 volts. The associate then informed me that they need to try and charge this battery for several hours for another test. I informed Angel that l had a down piece of equipment and was almost 1 hr drive away. The associate could care less and said he would call me later that day. No call! I had to return to this store on Monday 1:00 pm ( No Call again) to pickup my battery and that equals almost 4 hrs of total travel time to Battery plus. Remember that I was told this would be a warranty replacement on the phone per the BatteryPlus employee! Upon picking up my battery...that associate informed me that they use the 10.6 volt test as the break point for warranty replacement! That told me I was completely scamed on the 1st battery test the previous visit... I will never return or recommend this location! Avoid and buy your batteries @ a big box retailer / auto store that has actual customer service and respect!
I was hesitant to get my car battery tested because I was afraid I would be pressured into buying a new car battery. Thankfully that was not the case and the gentleman I worked with was honest and transparent. Great customer service and fast! I will come back if I ever have battery related needs in the future!
Ugh, this is so frustrating! The battery installer totally messed up and ripped out a cable from my starter. Because of their mistake, I had to pay for a tow truck and then a mechanic to fix it. Honestly, I can't believe this happened. It's such an unnecessary expense and hassle.
Ordered and paid for batterie online for pickup in Parma hts. Because it was in stock at store. Got to store and they had none. Had to get a different compatible battery and cost additional $17.
I needed to recycle two florescent tubes and Batteries Plus was recommended. I was told there is a fee of $1.48 for each tube, which is very reasonable. The man who helped me greeted me right away and was very nice. Thank you for this service.
This was my second battery purchase from the Parma Ohio BatteriesPlus store. Very knowledgeable, and professional staff. They were able to answer all of my questions in a very easy to understand way. Would highly recommend for them.
Terrible experience from buying it to picking it up. The online kept saying there was a issue yet kept trying to take the money ( luckily the bank caught it ) At pickup the young lady behind the counter acted like I was asking for a kidney when I asked for my battery then wanted to argue with me about my core deposit I should have stopped with the first problem ( big waste of time )
Batteries Plus located in The Shoppes of Parma,Parma,Ohio 44129, purchased a APC-Back- UPS to use in home for power outages, I can plug about 5 items in like lamps, phones etc when power goes out, lasts 5 hours,after the power outage on August 6, 2024 I really wanted this item $89 plus tax about $97 good price I was scared in the dark
Overall great experience from start to finish. I was notified when placing my order online that there was a coupon available, and once my order was ready for pickup I even received a phone call letting me know it was ready. Great service!
Counter person spent 25 minutes replacing a $20 screen protector while other people were waiting to simply pay for their purchases. Now I understand why your retail outlets fail.
It is very nice to have a a business that focuses on the products they sell. I am pleasantly surprised that they have always had my requirements in stock. This is refreshing compared to going to Wlmrt.
I have bought batteries from them in the past, that I could not find. I recently bought 3 different batteries. The AAA batteries I purchased were out of stock and the salesperson switched out for a different brand. Same price and 2 more batteries. I recommend this store for batteries. Also, if you order online you will get 10% off.
Just when I thought excellent customer service was a thing of the past, my faith was restored when I went into this store and met Vik. He went above and beyond helping me find exactly what I needed and took time to explain everything to me. He even ordered something to have transferred to this store so it could be more convenient for me. Wow!!!
