If I could I would put no stars because for 3 days I've been trying to get a tire from them everyday they have an excuse. Yesterday he tells me that it's on the car I tell him to take it off I will be there today to pick it up and of course it's still on the car and he can't get it off until Monday. you have to leave a message and wait for somebody to call you back they don't ever answer. First time I've ever dealt with this place and there are joke. Don't waste your time dealing with these people.
My family and I have done business with this company for years. Sometimes we have him pick up vehicles at our home and other times we drive them there to scrap. They have always been the best and gave me the high end of scrap value. I've read some of these negative reviews and I'm telling you that the people are not telling the whole story. Just today I scrapped a vehicle but I had to keep the battery for one of my cars and I was going to walk 2 miles back home to get my jeep and he had an employee drive me to my house. So to anyone looking to deal with singletons, listen up, do honest business and he will do honest business. Try to bring a car with cinder blocks in the trunk or try to scam in another way, of course he will be rude. You are trying to scam him. I rate this company 5+. The people that post negative comments are the ones putting rocks in pop cans or dirty diapers in a bag of cans or trying other ways to lie. What do you expect him to do? Of course he might get rude. Be honest and do honest business and singleton will treat you with respect. Again, my family has been doing business with him for many, many years.
Do not take your recyclables here. The owner is extremely rude to literally everyone worst of all his own employee. Why anybody would want to work for someone that talks to them in such a derogatory way I will never understand. He will only pay number 2 prices for even the cleanest number 1 and their scales are set up to rip you off. I weighed before going in at around 30lbs of copper which was separated by type into different easy to differentiate buckets. Less than a third was number 2 and after weighing it all up separate only wants to pay number 2 for the whole lot. Absolute scam artist and horrendous person all around. I really hope Jerry finds some sort of peace in his life because I can only imagine the life it would take to make such a hateful person.
Tried to get tires some guy lied and said he did things he didn't do and he stool 20 bucks from me. His name was TJ I was being nice an giving him a ride to take his part and getbpaud for it. And this is what he done. And Joe lied to.
Its a place to haul scrap but owner is very rude to all his employees and customers and brags about his building that looks like nothing cost 650,000.00 also his hours online are not right never open on time

The guys is a complete dick i took my car there today and he was just nasty very disrespectful twords my boyfriend if i didnt have to take my car there i would never of went this is the second time with his terrible attitude
I have never seen a more disrespectful person towards employees OR customers in my entire life! The owner there is the most rude person I have ever come in to contact with. I have witnessed him yell at employees and customers and it is no wonder that they cannot keep any help there. He calls his own employees pieces of trash (and lot worse). I live in the same area that the business is in and everyone that goes has had the same experience with him being mean and hateful. I know a lot of people that have worked there and he treated them like complete garbage even when they tried their best. A person would be better off unemployed than to work for that man. Makes me so mad that he thinks he can treat people like that.
Horrible experience went to get a tire searched in their huge pile of tire s didnt find any but found one on a car was told to wait for someone to price for me waited 30 min nothing . Called them from the yard sent out someone to inspect the tire to let the guy know what condition the tire was in. Even though the owner was told the depth and condition of the tire he was rude as hell to me and his ployee and told me he is the chepaest around gauranteed to not to bother him right now and to come back still wouldnt tell me a price. I call him after the guy jerking me all day over a stupid tire .....one damn tire. Never will I go back not even for a lugnut. When I drive somewhere for business and in need of a tire and im told to go away rudely Im not coming back.
