I had an emergency tire rotation so I took it to Bill's towing and Smitty took me in right away. With their mechanic Joe, you can expect quality work. They are very honest and exceptionally knowledgeable. They diagnosed my van for free fixed it and had me back on the road and running great in no time. I recommend Bill's towing to everyone! PS: Tip the mechanics when you can they really appreciate it and deserve it!
It was the first time that I was there, and I did not feel rushed. I thought that he went over everything that I had concerns with on my vehicle. He addressed all my questions, which was extremely helpful. We were able to come up with some solutions. I felt like i'd been going there for a long time. Not like this wasn't my first time there & it was my first time. I will be using this shop for all of my 3 vehicles from here on out.
Billed my credit card to his shop, adding additional charge on my card, ( increased total from company purchase price, 1,000.00+) then charged me additional $400.00 for installation! Then he purchased the hybrid battery to his shop. Refused to give me the warranty, or answer my calls. Most likely because he was suppose to use my card to purchase battery, not his business! He thought I would forget about the warranty and never know how much he overcharged me!! When car didn't start after battery placed, claimed I needed to bring back to his shop for them to look at! NO WAY!! , So he can charge me again ! My son in law was able to call the company and get the warranty and price of battery off the stamp on battery. When picked up the car he said his wife wasn't in, to print warranty, they would mail. Called for months, eventually not even picking up. Recognized my number. Friend called right after and he picked up!! I was out of town, he said no problem to keep car there until ready to pick up. Now he says he charges 15.00 a day and he tried calling me to pick up the car, and he was unable to get a hold of me!! Also he said didn't take checks, but had no problem taking mine. SO MANY LIES, DO NOT TRUST THIS Company!! Wasn't even the hybrid battery that I needed to replace!!! Give NO rating!!
My timing chain was messed up in my car and I took it to Bill's Service and they seemed extremely fair and are very good people if you need any car work done. The guy checked himself to see if it was under warranty and it was so he even took it to the GMC dealer in Salem for me to have them fix it and bill GMC. So a little bit of good news and if you guys need any car repair I would highly recommend Bill's service in Wellsville.
Outstanding service. I started taking my car there a little over a year ago and they were the only garage that successfully diagnosed what was wrong.
Since then, I won't take my car anywhere else. Fast, friendly, and less expensive. Which is why I'll be going here for a long time.
