Connect to the great scrap yard to go to for just about all your needs. The staff is awesome they are quick and thorough. That's a nice trip to a crossover railroad tracks and look to the left of the right mostly to the left because you can see all the dear on the asphalt pathways.
Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean any business has a right to rip them off. i was given 50¢ a lb cans: avg $1; copper $2.40 lb: avg $4.45 and weight was complete bullshit; brass plates received sheet iron prices instead of brass prices and even the sheet metal plates received sheet iron prices instead. Complete rip off! Do not take these people your business they are scam artists

Didn't know they are now closed on Saturday and Sunday. Went to Ashtabula recycle instead, it was just a few more minutes/miles down the road and am I glad I did. Ashtabula recycling was so helpful and very polite and professional. I won't go any where else but Ashtabula recycling from now on, I really enjoyed my experience with this company.
Not a bad recycling place. They seem to take all metal types. Aluminum is 50 cents a pound uncrushed 45 cents a pound crushed. Employees seemed as friendly as you would expect.
CUSTOMER BEWARE!! Greenville location is TRASH. Dishonest owner who will tell you one price then when it comes time to buy scrap a couple hours later they want to give u a lower amount. They did this to my grandmother who is in her 70s. There is a new recycling yard that just opened a couple miles down the road towards Jamestown that pays great prices, fast and friendly service and has been in the recycling business for well over 30 years. Also locally/family-owned They will go outta their way to serve u the best.
Odd vibe. Black helicopter circled the place taking video the whole time I was there. Not sure what was going on, just seemed like a strange scene. Got paid with a check. Never went back.
Horrible experience. At first offered good prices, then found an excuse every time to downgrade the material and pay less money. Also said they could service with a day's notice, nope. Since they couldn't service, offered to pay more if we delivered, then complained that is was costing him too much time and money to unload us. Just too difficult to work with. I'd leave no stars if I could.

Most times there's not much of a wait time but I suggest getting there at least a half hour before they close.
Most are friendly if you are and will help you the best they can but remember, they're there to make money. Some can be a bit more particular about the rates, so keep an eye on the scales, but DON'T get in their way. Some workers may not wait for the scale to adjust before they write it down, so just be aware.
Also, make sure they put all your metals in the same place, as some parts of the scale don't read as accurately as the middle.
Also, don't crush your cans, they deduct for that, unfortunately, because some unscrupulous people will add garbage to their cans and then crush them to get more money.
Don't be greedy! Get to know them, most are great people just doing their job!
Best scrap metal business I've ever been to. Offering wide variety of services that others don't. If I can't pick up your scrap they will. Maybe they'll employ me one day.... Check them out you won't recycle any where else
Amazing company! Make sure you have a title to get your car scraped! Don’t call for a tow and be mad they won’t pay you because you don’t have no title. Keep up the good work! Recommend for all your scrap needs!

They took my 1998 ford explorer sport 2 dr out of my driveway without paying me a dime.
The police told me this is their policy and they can take it without paying me because they put my truck on theirs. They were supposed to pay me 350 for a non stripped with factory catalytic converter. Or 200 for stripped. He told me 350 then started to hook it up once it was on his truck he asked for paperwork. I didn't have a title but I had other paperwork to prove ownership (registration card) and a speeding ticket from a camera. The police told me good luck. If a person and not a company had done this it would be theft. I'm greatly upset with how this happened and woouldnt ever recomend anyone even consider doing business with people that will take your property legally
I only use em when convenient they are soooo slow always appear disorganized. First few time i stooped figure new place they will work it how long has it been now and still the same!!
Kanect has the best scap prices prices in Ashtabula, and I'm thinking best in surrounding prices. I like the fact that they are proffesional and don't chat, or smile in your face like some yards while they're rippin you off, paying the lowest possible price. Thanks Kanect for your respect and integrity, being a scrapper is hard work, not to give it away. Some people don't know what intevrity means. Keep up the good work!
