Just went in for parts and to drop off used oil at the Advance Auto parts in Loudonville. Guy who first greeted me about the oil was super nice. He took the oil back and I went to the first register for parts. Guy was a complete smart ass and major jerk. Had no opinion on brands, was rude as hell when I didn't have the exact answer to a question he asked. Told him I didn't appreciate the attitude and left without buying anything. Customer service is the only thing local auto parts stores have left against the Rock Autos, EBays and Amazon's of the world and this guy was terrible. I will not return.
Needed wire nuts at 8pm all other places closed, got very good assistance, I needed it for electrical in home, of course they did have big enough once because they're auto store just for smaller wire.
Okay, I know I was a little upset from being so rudely treated by Jesse at Napa a few minutes before I arrived at Advanced Auto Parts so I really appreciate your kindness and just want to publicly say thank you...
It's fine NAPAs "cash only" - I agree that's understandable since they're in transition from being bought by corporate but come on - refusing to answer questions, ignoring attempts to clarify, deliberately being totally not helpful - I was even trying to be kind... Not sure if Jesse (from Napa) was having a totally horribly bad day but luckily for me CJ and Charles at Advance Auto Parts were friendly, helpful, extremely polite, happy to make sure I got what I need and took my 300.00 dollars without belittling me so gladly I'll just go there! Really, thank you for being so understanding, for your offers to assist and walk me through what I needed to know... Will definitely return! Thanks again!
I just went in today. I forgot to get new wiper blades before I drove up from Columbus. Mad at myself for being forgetful. Then went into the store, the gentleman was very helpful and even help me install the new ones. Think next time I need auto parts I'll wait for my next trip here. Love these guys!
Always happy to help you find the right parts. Competitive pricing on most things. In the heart of the Mohican Valley. So many things to do while waiting on your significant other to fix your vehicle with parts from Adavance, you will forget you even had car trouble!
Advance was super helpful gave me what I needed never they never try to sell me stuff I don't need. And even if I go in and can't figure out what I need for a job they take time to help me figure out what I will need to use. Store is always clean when I go in. Stuff is where it is suppose to be. Even if you don't understand something you can ask and they try to explain it to you. They have left me make sure exhaust fittings would work when I have vehicle at store befor I bought what I need not what I thought I need. I recommend Orrville and loudonville advance. Never have I had a bad experience.
The employee Nathan at this location was very prompt and knowledgeable. He was able to quickly diagnose an issue with my battery and got me back on the road in a very short period of time. Want to say thank you very much You guys did a great job.!
I spend a lot of time gere buying random stuff and parts. They are always finding ways to help find whatever i need. Never had a issue here. Great customer service
Never been to a better staffed Advanced Auto Parts store. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. Anytime their has been any issue with ordering parts they have done their due diligence to make it right. Big store with small town vibes! Scott, Mark, and Jeremy have always been very helpful with everything from truck parts to rv/camper and even golf cart issues. Keep up the good work gentleman!
This part store had fantastic sales going on when I went there, like they usually do. I got a great price on a complete oil change for my car, and a few other car items I wasn't planning on buying. They were just to good of a deal to pass up! The service was awesome and staff was sooo helpful and friendly.
I was asking the sales clerk questions about purchasing brake pads and he basically Shrugged his shoulders and told me I don't know. I will look for another Auto store that that has staff that actually knows what they're doing.
Glad, they could put the battery in for me right away. However they did not know I needed to wait for the car to reset itself. Even after the car would not move. A little wrench was showing on the dash, once I shut the car off and waited for the reset, the wrench went off and everything was ok. I had to call someone to come help me while in advanced Auto parking lot!
I believe they should have known that.
Stopped in as we walked by to check the battery on my key fob in their battery-checking machine and ended up purchasing a spare. The guys were very helpful and friendly!
