Great place always have what I need and always willing to bargain. I'm a regular the one gentleman will even let me pay the next time. He has even thrown me free parts. Good place good people.
Just ran out to get some parts for a friend. As always these guys have rock bottom prices, treat you fair and willing to help out how they can. Definitely recommend it to anybody who needs some parts.
Large selection of vehicles, particularly harder to find ones. Prices are very reasonable and you can pull your own parts or have them remove parts for you for a small fee. Have yet to leave without finding what I am looking for.
A large area with tons of parts! Was able to find everything I need for my project and lots of hard to find items. Owner is super friendly and great, can not beat prices!

We got there at about 1:30 pm on a saturday and the gate was locked up with a closed sign. Tried calling and no answer. We'll just have to try again next time.
Been there a couple times, they'll let you drive in if you need to for bigger stuff. Not a lot of staff so might have to look around when it's time to settle up. Good people, fair prices and good selection.
A call ahead and I knew they hand some of what I needed. None of their ratings below 5 are legitimate: they didn’t even write a review- just clicked 3 or 4 stars. They are 5 star all the way - as long as you know what your doing at a pull-your-own used parts operation!
The phone call before arrival have me the information I needed. I was in and out no problems got exactly what I needed. And at a extremely fair price. I'm definitely going back out there again and again.
The guy that runs the place is very nice and very professional. Great place for used parts at a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone looking for used parts.

I have visited ẞswartwouts many years since arriving in Minot in 1986. Jim, the owner, is very helpful as are his sons. If you visit often they will remember you a get more helpful. I had called Jim about three weeks asked about a part not saying I was coming out. When I arrived I found the part setting by the door of his little office with him saying, I knew you'd be out sooner or later. Prices are right also.
Guy believes in selling parts, bring your own tools and jacks. Weeds and grass can get tall so plan for that. Lot of old truck sitting there. Rare vehicles must go for a car guy that needs anything

Swartwout's is one of my two favorite salvage yards in the Minot area. His prices have always been fair, and I like that he lets us look for the parts and take them off. Once in a while that makes the project a little bit easier.
