Older hotel rooms are dated and thin as cardboard. They push their sportsbook area really hard, yet when we were there, not a single live game. The only way to watch a live NFL game that night was a random guy streaming on his phone that he mirrored to one of the TV's.

Horrible horrible horrible!!! Will NEVER return to 4 bears casino and lodge. Cut us off after table of friends did a max bet at black jack!!!!!

Friends got kicked off table games for being “too Intoxicated” my friend tried fighting it, got shut down due to no explanation other than the pit boss saying he was too intoxicated. There was no earlier complaints or warnings given. Security would not listen or give a reason and overall a bad gambling experience (unless you love gambling sober and during the day). I would not recommend due to a bad service experience.

Was kicked off table for no apparent reason. Friend had 9 dollar drink that he didn’t drink out of ROBBED from him because he was “too intoxicated” even tho he had 3 beers. Was generally a bad vibe and hostile environment wouldn’t recommend.

The place was under construction ? but our stay was comfortable we slept well.

This has got to be one of the worst casinos to gamble at !! It will take all you have no matter what game or amount you play Walking out I asked the guard guy if they can ban me from ever entering again . ( I can only wish )

Great experience, we won a litlte bit it was a weekend trip with my wife. Beautiful area

Employee very rude in gift shop maybe because he wanted to be at there Employee Christmas party and was upset he had to work...all other departments were awesome.

Just took a ride on their 2 hour riverboat experience. Couldn't wait to get off. Drinks are way overpriced in the slots are ridiculously tight. Also regarding the casino food. The burgers are satisfactory but the so-called buffet is terrible. Perhaps the tribal council could shave off a small percentage of the 25 million they receive every month in oil royalties and bring back the crab and lobster buffet they once served in respect to those customers who just lost hundreds or thousands of dollars in the casino. In respect to all customers lose or win. Thank you

Went to the Train concert and it was great. The casino is huge, something for everyone. I will be going back ?

Great casino but with construction ongoing and over blocked access between the rooms and the casino best to wait until construction is over if you have a mobility problem.

Let tell you I heard we nearly given this casino alot money yet it's still no state of art casino. still needs more improvement of staff and let's not forget security need more customers services training.

This casino is great, although some bartenders could use some training in customer service. I've been here more than a handful of times and to be exact, I feel I need to mention a bartender named Mathew.. On more than one occasion I've heard him YELL at customers. (Nice customers) I've heard him REFUSE to make a wedding party 10 lemon drops. He said "I WONT EVER MAKE THAT FRUITY SHIT. YOU GOTTA ORDER SOMETHING ELSE!" The customers were astounded and walked away, left the casino.. I haven't ever been a victim to his outbursts until recently when he yelled at ME for ordering a pineapple whiskey sour. To be honest I believe he doesn't know how to make drinks... So he yells at people to make them order what HE wants them to order.. coming from a little bit of bartending experience, people KNOW what they LIKE... So you make it for them, the way they order it. I'm just really disgusted at this point with the bartender Mathew. I am seriously contemplating whether or not the drive to Prairie Knights is worth it.

Ah yes, Four Bears Casino—the Las Vegas of western North Dakota… if Vegas had fewer lights, fewer slot machines, and way more people in Carhartt jackets.

On September 1st, I traveled to 4Bears Hotel and Casino with my Mother, Sister and her friend. |We were with with a tour bus group. |Unfortunately, our trip experience was mostly negative.|On previous trips to 4Bears I was able to allow my Mother to walk alone through the hotel over to the casino for her to take advantage of the indoor smoking areas. |This trip, because of the construction taking place, we were subjected to climbing up on a golf cart in order to get to the casino, food court, coffee shop and gift store. This is their "shuttle service"|Holding on to my 80 year old Mother during 50 mph winds and whipping rain, riding a golf cart, just so she could go eat and spend her money, was not my idea of the entertainment 4Bears advertises.|Allowing her to smoke outside was not an option either after I observed a strange man in the parking lot picking cigarette butts and screaming profanities.|The hotel rooms were extremely run down, and the mattresses had dips in them.|I had to go downstairs more than once because our room keys weren't working and my sister had to shower in our room because the hot water in hers wasn't working. |The meals offered in the steam table at the Food Court were not often attractive and did not seem fresh. The other options were deep fried items or pizza. Not really suitable for seniors. |On our first day there, the woman at the cash register wouldn't allow me to order a chicken dinner even though it wasn't even 8:30 pm yet, and was quite rude about it as though it was going to be extra work for her.|On Seniors day, the entrée was the same thing that was served for the Seniors lunch. |There was nothing available for diabetic diets such as fresh fruits and salads to be able to take back to the room as there is also nothing available for purchase after hours. |If we had known ahead of time, we'd have brought groceries. |On our last day, breakfast wasn't available until after 9:00 am due to a staff shortage. In any facility, there are procedures in place so that customers are not put out and should not even be aware that there are problems happening in the kitchen. |Once breakfast began, the two female employees working were able to serve the line quickly. |One of the seniors just ahead of me, asked if she could have no eggs but would like an extra biscuit. She was given the extra biscuit but shortly afterwards, a male employee came out of the kitchen and raising his voice said, "NO SUBSTITUTIONS!|IF THEY DON'T WANT SOMETHING, THEY DON'T GET ANYTHING ELSE!"|I then said to him, "We have been extremely inconvenienced and you're griping about a biscuit? This breakfast should have been free for everyone on the bus tour."|He didn't say anything, just turned around and went back into the kitchen. |Some of the staff members in different areas of 4Bears were polite and courteous however, the staff members that stand out are the ones who were either rude or disinterested and unconcerned. Barely looking up from their cellphone when you approached them with a problem. |I understand that when any facility is facing renovations, it's standards may not be up to par, and that customers are asked to "bear with us" however, we are still paying the same amount of money as we were if the hotel were running in a normal capacity. |Because we were leaving at 10:00 am the last morning, everyone on the tour bus had promotional monies left on their club cards because the gift shop was closed, the coffee shop was lined up with construction workers, and there was no where else to purchase anything. |Why not release those promotional funds and add them to the 3rd day? |Then we could pick up some souvenirs and purchase something from the coffee shop.|I won't be returning to 4Bears anytime soon and will be letting my friends and family know of my concerns.

All I do is win, win, win, no matter what. Got money on my mind, can never get enough. You should definitely visit here. Nothing bad ever comes of gambling. In all seriousness though decent little casino. Casino RV park is nice, quiet, and has good water pressure. If you wind up getting a spot in the gravel lots you will probably need 4 wheel drive as the gravel is a bit deep. Hotel is the same as anywhere else and currently under construction. Staff range from awesome to meh.

The slot machines here are the worst I’ve ever seen. Unlawfully manipulated for sure. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY TO GET RIPPED OFF! Been here a week and have barely seen bonus games, and when it came the payout was a joke. These machines are rigged BIG TIME. Worst casino in ND BY FAR. They are stealing in plain site. Filthy games, disgusting smoking areas. Just nasty all around. AVOID AVOID AVOID

What a great casino! They added more new machines! I thought there must have been several added in the back. Love the atmosphere in the casino. You can have free drinks with the pop. There are so many different games to choose from too. Most of the time I leave feeling happy even if I lose $$!

Nice conference room, good catered breakfast, great staff with an extra special shout-out to Logan, who is a security guard who also ran a shuttle for our group and treated us like VIPs. He went above and beyond. Also, did you know 4 Bears has a lovely riverboat that is available for cruises on Lake Sakakawea? It's worth the whiskey with three levels, each with its own full bar and bathroom facilities. There's also plenty of gambling options onboard.

When we booked our room there was no mention of the massive amount of construction. You check in at a make shift desk made of table and chairs outside the rooms. You cannot get to the casino through the hotel you have to drive to that entrance. They put us in a room next to the construction so we were awoken at 6 am. Tried to talk to manager but no one was available. All the other girl could say is we can't control the construction. Next the food at the casino is limited to 3 options and is awful! I message 4 Bears and still no response. We will never go there again. The set up during construction was not thought out at all. Very unhappy

Very nice casino - new hotel is under construction - beautiful location. Casino has an area for "smokers" which is very considerate of them. Just not many winners while we were there including us ! Donations gladly accepted !

Your website says open 24 hr Friday, Saturday. But you show up Friday morning, and they still are not open. They say they will not open until 8 so that's not 24 hours. Because you would be open midnight Friday. Through midnight, Saturday. This is a good place. I come here many of times but their hours are misleading. So before you waste your time driving all the way there, you can try to get ahold of somebody and make sure what hours are what i drove an hour out of my way to stop by. And play a little where they were not open. Website says, open, but they were not

I understand the gambling is not guaranteed, but once you hit a bonus and I hit so many bonuses this weekend on this casino and none of them paid out what they would in any other casino that I’ve ever been to. 4 bears is the worst casino I’ve ever been to, better off to save your money for Vegas and actually get good service as well. Not to mention it’s old and run down, if you’re going to have an old rundown casino at least have some decent payouts. It’s a shame ton because it’s a beautiful location on the river.

they could not find our reservation for the room, but the customer service was great. The room could have been updated but was clean We had a room on the first floor and it was very loud but was also in a high foot traffic area. I wish that there was more options for dining available. The staff was absolutely wonderful and very friendly. I can't wait to come visit again.

First time. We got players cards so you got $15.00 of free play. Couldn’t get it to work for free play. Went to guest services. Looked at me like I was dumb. You can only use on the old machines with green dots. Tried those. The lights on buttons were burnt out or something. You could not see what any of them were.. went to cash out. And it doesn’t give you change. Told me I have to go to cashier for that!! Really. Good way for the casino to save money. I am sure most people just leave it. I went over and got mine. I really doubt that I’ll ever be back there. The casino cruise was awesome. Excellent staff friendly. Very reasonable $20 for three hour. Cruise was a beautiful cruise.
