Im a newbie at scrap, went to the big one on main a few times, found them rude and not super friendly as a newbie. So when i found This place, I was willing to try it. They have always been polite, answered all my novice questions and always helpful, also like that it is kinda on back roads so I dont worry about having to haul on main st or main roads. Will keep using :)

First time working with this team. Fantastic experience. Fair pricing, but the team was exceptional. Everyone I worked with was friendly and helpful.

Worst experience ever in scrap yard. Don't go there ever. Knew my load was only 25bucks but Ferous guy said wasn't ready for him disrepected me whole time was there for little load. How is it that in last five years had ten different workers in ferous. Black guy was best must have run off. And shop. Fire. Most have been set for insurance money. Close the whole place down. Don't go there. Tell manager to go run garbage truck for West Fargo like Mike. He works for city too

They paid me 43 cents a pound for number 2 copper and wouldn't correct the price to make it fair. I brought in 160 pounds and got $69. Never coming back here again

I liked my experience last year before they had a fire. The guy that weighs everything clearly is not trying to help the customers get what they can. He comes across as quiet but is passive aggressive when you question his process. Would recommend that people go elsewhere to avoid having a bad experience.

The staff is very friendly and helpful at all times. They are very professional with all the customers. Even when customers are rude and out of line they are very polite and respectful. If you do not understand how the scrapping works. They will take the time to help you understand what you have and how the process works. Yes it gets very busy there at times… but out of all the scrapyards in the Fargo-Moorhead area. They are the top ones to deal with…. The knowledge that the staff have of the commodities is above and beyond. I will continuously be going back there.

Go elsewhere if you can. Awful customer service. They're not honest about weight on cans. They make you carry & dump all your own cans.

Always weigh your stuff before you bring it in. I weighed all my stuff at home and I will never go back to this place now. I've hauled here x amount of times and now I wonder how much money I've been ripped off over the years. Can't fool me anymore because I WILL NOT be going back there.

Rudest lady ever working. Not sure who she's mad at but she will take it out on you. She's very miserable.

I brought in a box that was 95% copper romex/service entrance wire and 5% cat 5/extension cord. I happened to notice it was categorized as household wire, which is $.33 per pound instead of $1.11. I asked about it, and asked for information about their categories, so I can sort the wire before it is brought in. They immediately became defensive and told me "It is not our job to educate the customer". What?????????? And to make it worse, they told me it was mostly household wire. As an electrician who picks up scrap thhn and romex wire on the job and throws it is a box, I know that to be a complete lie. All we care about is how to sort it at home so these things don't happen. I have been bringing copper wire in for years and have NEVER seen the household category. And being accused of arguing when I am trying to find out how to presort wire........... Amazing. I guess bring recyclables here at your own risk.
