After contacting AAA, I was able to experience the professionalism, friendliness and care from McKinzy at Jim’s Towing.
McKinzy went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was safe, along with her car and offered to follow her to the repair shop to make sure she got there safely, if needed. He confirmed the car needed towing and took care of the situation for my daughter, easing her stress of the situation. He was in constant communication with me while I was 4 hrs away, making it a better experience for her knowing I was aware of what was going on the whole time. I feel relieved that I know Jim’s Towing is in the area and that they will take care of my daughter when I cannot be there. I will be requesting/recommending Jim’s Towing company anytime their services are needed while I, someone I know or am asked about a towing company in the area. As someone that works out in the public daily, the people in the Field are the face of the company and this Company will be around a long time. Thank you McKinzy and Jim’s Towing.
Our tow truck driver was so nice, knowledgeable, and professional. We were in excellent hands from the start. Courteous, and so in tune with our needs and checking in on where we were at, and he was passionate about us getting help and back on the go to meet up with our son, he really cared about us and it showed. My tow truck operator was very friendly and professional. I wasn't sure what AAA was going to provide me with for a tow truck company, but Jim's Towing was exceptional.
Cameron was awesome last night... close to 1am and my daughter was stranded on a busy road... he was there and towed the vehicle within 30 minutes. I appreciate his quick, kind service in a crisis situation for my daughter.
The driver for Jim's Towing jump started our vehicle, looked it over and offered to still tow it to repair shop. This allowed me to not have to track down a ride home. Very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend Jim's Towing when you are in a bind.

Brooke and Mackenzie with Jim’s Towing are absolutely amazing! As a parent with a college student four hours away in need of service, they both put my mind and heart at ease. My daughter was stranded waiting for AAA to arrive for 7+ hours into the early morning. When I decided to take the matters in my own hands to find a tow, Brooke picked up the phone at 1am and immediately went into action by calling AAA directly to get the tow routed to them (which I learned by contract, AAA should have been routed to them 7+ hours prior and didn’t) and was immediately on the walkie asking who was available to take the tow. She reassured me that my daughter would be taken care of and that they would be sending someone out right away. Mackenzie called me when he was enroute to her to let me know and got the car lifted. On the way to the drop off destination, Mackenzie called me to inform me that my daughter was safe, he had her car, and he was on route back to the dorm. We talked for about 10 minutes about the whole situation, and he encouraged me to reach out to AAA and file a complaint. He said as a girl dad himself, that was not okay for her to be out there that long in the middle of nowhere. I highly recommend Jim’s Towing and can’t thank them both enough for coming to the rescue that night.
Called AAA and they sent out Jim's towing, I don't have the gentlemen's name, but he was great. Got here fast, serviced fast, no complaints about them at all! Thanks again!
I came out of the Sanford clinic and my car battery was dead.
Called triple A for assistance and Jim's towing of Fargo called me a few minutes later to let me know when to expect a service unit.
Not long after I recieved a call from Austin and he verified my location and told me that he was in route and would arrive in minutes.
When Austin arrived he greeted me and went through some battery tests and checked for any possible issues before
starting my car. After he had it running he tested my charging system to make sure it was good for the road.
Austin is a knowledgeable and personable technician that seems to thoroughly enjoy his job and is willing to take an extra couple minutes to make sure his work is complete and the customer is safe.
Austin is a credit to Jim's towing !

I got stuck in the snow upon pulling into my work's parking lot, I was nervous because of the time of night , the freezing temperatures, and the wait time to get help through AAA! But Jim's Towing arrived and helped! Excellent service!!! dug me out of a spot tonight with a SHOVEL!!! Keep up the good business and THANKFUL your company exists.
I was and am tremendously grateful to Logan. I had the unfortunate luck to have to have met him 3 times yesterday due to battery issues. His communication was very much appreciated. He was also able to help guide me - a person who knows little about cars and batteries - about how to solve my problem. I think he went above and beyond what was expected of him. He called me after he had jumped my car for a third time. We made a plan together not to drop the car off at the dealership after hours given he thought it would not get a new battery in an efficient time. He suggested, instead, that I drive it to my house... where it would inevitably die again, buy the specific battery that I needed for the car the next day when the battery store opened and then call the shop and he would replace the battery for me in my driveway so I wouldnt have to deal with towing the car. I cant say enough positive things about this man. I am tremendously grateful to him. The week had been an overwhelming one and then to have to deal with a car not working... and needing to be jumped 3 times in a day... I was at my wits end. I have to imagine that Karma will come back to this man because if you approach the world with such kindness and compassion, I have to imagine it has to come back to you. Thank you Logan and thank you Jims towing for hiring such an exceptional man.

7pm, -10F outside, 25miles north of Fargo.. While no other shop wanted to send a crew... Nate from Jim's Towing came out and did quick roadside assist to get brakes unstuck and transmission air low issue resolved - ON THE SPOT! Knowledgeable and friendly , did the job in 10 minutes and truck was back on the road!

Austin saved me and my dog after my car broke down on 94 in the dark. He was really helpful and put me at ease when I was really nervous and stressed. Plus he is dog friendly!!! I’m so grateful!
The guy that helped yesterday was very nice, but they have a nasty female dispatcher that answers the phone. Hanged up on me twice, won't deliver messages. A very nasty human who might affect their business reputation.

Joey was the hero at RRVF, the night of 4th of July fireworks. I saw 2 cars stuck in muddy areas, or in a ditch in the horrible RRVF parking lots. Joey was patient and careful to prep the car by digging around it to ensure the bumper would not get damaged when he started pulling it out of the ditch. He would then pull it out little by little, and run to check on the car every time he did that. Well done Joey!
Got stuck at a customer on 1-23-2024. Your guy came all the way from Fargo to Detroit Lakes and got me out.
Great customer service, he stuck around to make sure I wouldn’t get stuck again, and had me follow him out.

I pulled into my shop and it looked dry but it was infact soft. The whole front end of a loaded semi sunk axle deep into the mud.
I called and in short order Vince was there with an amazing piece of equipment and wireless controls to slowly pull the truck out with no damage.
Great service and a company to have on speed dial if you are running heavy equipment in this neck of the woods.
George, his wife family have been the place to call for heavy truck towing for years.
This is a great company. They brought me back to their shop to thaw my truck over night. They gave me a place to stay and food to eat. The next morning the mechanic figured out the problem in a short time. He ordered parts an did the repair. I am very grateful for these wonderful people. Very reasonable rates. And the home made chicken soup and breakfast was wonderful. Thank you so much!
Called around town and was looking for someone to tow me no more then 1000 ft to the Blue Beacon from the Petro truck stop parking lot which they are both literally on the same lot. I had been stuck here with frozen air lines for 2 days I tried the antifreeze the torch which I had to walk to home depot during a snowstorm to buy because they didn't sell them at the Petro. I gave up and I figured I can call a tow service and they can drag my truck to the truck wash I figured hot water will defrost the air lines. Everyone I called ridiculous prices. 800 dollars one said she said hey its supply and demand I just said lady it's literally right there you don't have to pull me out a ditch or nothing just drag me there. I called Jim's and George answered.... he gave me a quote that was very reasonable and got a truck out to the Petro and they pulled me to the truck wash and air lines were defrosted and it was a great day. THANKS JIM'S TOWING, George and the Driver that came out I didn't get his name but he was cool and treated me right.
As a truck driver, I highly recommend this family if you need a tow. My freightliner went down and they knew exactly what to do. I'm from out of town and they made me feel at home. Very professional and very good price for towing of tractor and trailer. This family was a huge blessing
