Don’t know if ace towing is associated with bergs but they came and grabbed my truck in a jiffy and now my trucks on the way to my mechanic for a reasonable price! Fast and affordable!
I would not recommend this towing company to anyone. They completely overcharge for their services and take advantage of people in difficult situations. It felt like they were more interested in making a quick buck than helping their customers. Save yourself the headache and find a more honest and transparent towing company who treat and bill you properly
I have never in my entire life been treated so poorly. My teenage daughter was in a very bad car accident. The sheriff had Ace tow her car off the roadway as it was not drivable. She was taken by ambulance to hospital. This was on a Friday evening. We went in right away on Monday and was told unless we paid over $750 we could not retrieve any of our belongings. As a matter of fact, they were not even going to allow me to take the requested photos for the insurance company without payment.
I asked to speak to a manager and was told “I am part owner! And that’s our policy” I was upset and requested to go back to take photos for insurance reasons. I said I have never been treated so poorly in my life, like I am a low life criminal. I have never been through this and could have used a little help!
She very firmly told me don’t even think about taking anything out of the car. My two teenage daughters were with me. We got back to the car and a gentleman stood watching us the entire time like we were criminals. I took my photos and then was informed I can either give them the title and keys for my car or find someone else to take it and they would put it out on the street and we would need to pay and additional $200 a day fee. I had put brand new tires on my car a month prior and was told I could not have them.
It appears from prior reviews by Sydney Lahtiner, Pam Hartwig, Sthefany Flores, Terry Tennison, Jesse Gwinn and Tammy Day all hat this is how the business is run. Sadly there are not any options for tow places in town. I am a nurse and my husband and I are business owners in town and I cannot imagine treating my patients or our customers the way I was. If I could have left 0 stars I would have!
20ft boat trailer bearing went out and Bergs came out with a flatbed. Loaded boat onto trailer smoothly and in a timely manner. They brought the boat to our shop of choice and had a great experience. Thank you for getting our family boat off the side of the interstate when Progressive said no one was available.
we had our company bus stuck in the ditch outside of glen ullin and we called them to come get us out and it was the biggest relief ever. wayne was an absolute gem would highly recommend
Actually, I don't give it 0 stars because you can't. THEY STOLEN $800 that was in the glove compartment and when I complained to them, no one responded, they are thieves and scammers. For the service they charged me $4,000 to tow my truck and they did not want to give it to me in 24 hours because they wanted to continue charging for more days. I do not recommend any of these companies (ACE) and (BERG'S) they are a bunch of garbage thieves I hope the authorities come to investigate the scam they are doing.
Wouldn't let me leave zero, was working an event with them. Went to set the perimeter, came back and the first car they pick up is mine and then tell me it's still $125 to put it down even though it was mine and they are only there because of our event. Improperly towing a $125,000 vehicle and then still had to work with the disrespectful and rude people for the next several hours to help tow the PROPER vehicles. A bunch of clowns who don't know how to properly tow a vehicle or follow simple instructions. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Bismarck Mandan has much better companies to work your events with or call for personal help.
The cost associated with our towing experience with this company was over $2,000. $950 to tow and $950 to store, plus fees. Mind you, Our car was towed less than 10 miles. This is highway robbery. There was no disclosure that there was a daily rate to keep our car there and the only reason why it stayed on their lot is that they were impossible to get a hold of, it took them nearly a week to tell us they couldn't help us, and then another week for us to actually get them to assist us in moving the car. In fact, they refused to move the car even when we wanted to pay cash asap to get the car to someone who could help us. They were rude, unprofessional, did not return calls and we were left with a bill of over $2,000 for a simple tow. It was a complete nightmare scenario and we feel robbed and taken advantage of. Please avoid this company as they will steal from you.
You are going to pay out the nose with this company. They are contracted with ACE, so you won’t know what company they are sending. There was no way to know ahead of time to check reviews. They are apparently well known for taking advantage of people in bad situations. Bill was nearly $850 to haul a dodge pickup and pull a small trailer with the same roll-top truck 50 miles! I will say they were prompt, but I would have waited a longer time to only pay $250 with the other 24 hour company I priced out after the fact. My mistake.
They were there within 10 minutes when my daughter's car was unmovable in the middle of the road. Very helpful and knowledgeable, same as the dispatcher.
I'll definitely use Berg's again.
Just horrible prices, broke down in Bismarck, in a semi, was less then half a mile from their office/yard, had to go a mile up interstate to turn around to goto a shop, roughly 3 1/2 miles from their place to get and take me to a shop and then back to their yard, costed $500 dollars, and to top it all off with, it was still during business hours, 1pm , hooked wrecker to truck, and DIDNT even use his Security chains to hold truck down. Only good part about this tow was, they responded immediately, was there in less then 10 minutes, but the rates are OVER KILL!!!!
