I would never ever in my lifetime use Dakota Towing again! The man that picked up my car yesterday was so rude to me. He yelled at me twice “why didn’t you answer your phone“? He could’ve asked nicely, but no, he had to yell at me and he was very rude throughout the whole process. Didn’t get a chance to tell him I don’t answer my phone if I don’t know who’s calling since I get so many spam calls.
I had a great experience with Dakota Towing. Of course it is never fun when you have to call a tow truck but they arrived fast. My car's button that puts it into drive was broken so while the car was fine, I couldn't get it into drive to move. The driver of the tow truck assisted me, got it unstuck, and didn't charge me for a tow because I was able to drive it. I told him I felt bad they had came and he said that customer service is the most important thing to them and they just want to treat the customer fairly and honestly. It was so refreshing this day in age. I will never use another company again. Thanks again Dakota Towing!

Good price, fast and the you man named Williams was amazing, he really cares about helping even if he's not making extra profit. And his mechanic, it's also amazing and good out of what he does and pretty fast too. He got a brand new starter installed on my car in just an hour which is very impressive. So shout out to Vellez Auto Repair which is not on Google maps.
So I called them to tow my vehicle 5 miles from where it let me set to my house, they said it would be $175 cash or $182 credit/debit card.....for a 5 mile tow? Come on now, really? For Red Top to come across the river to tow it is $200, why would I pay Dakota towing, who is closer to the vehicle, to tow it the 5 miles to my home, then it is for Red Top to run their tow truck 25 miles round trip for $18 dollars more? N here I thought they'd treat me decent since my ex used them for a tow, n it cost him less to tow his truck from Moffit to Eide Chrysler.....nah, don't think it is a deal by any means, thanx but no thanx.

THE BEST towing service I've experienced here in ND so far, Williams really knows how to combine excellent service and hospitality. Also recommend me his own mechanic and had my car fixed the same day is less than an hour and a half. Thanks to that I was able to keep going my way to Dickinson. I thought I was gonna have to pay for hotel. If anyone needs a tow or any service from a Towing company. I %100 recommend Williams from Dakota Towing.
I just had my car towed by I believe his name is Williams aka the young guy did such a great job towing my lady's car. I would recommend him if you ever need your car towed he's very nice and professional
William went above and beyond to help me out when I needed my truck towed. He even loaded stuff into the back of the truck for me, because I wasn’t able to be there and do it. Thank you Dakota Towing. I highly recommend them for your towing needs.
The driver was professional, and friendly. He took the time to teach me a trick to get the vehicle in neutral and made sure that everything went smoothly. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a tow. I believe his name is willance
Had them pull me out of the ditch and tow my car home. He did not use the tire strap he had just hooked to the spoke on my rim and bent it. They told me $100 for the winch out and $120 for the tow. When i got to the house he charged me $375. He was high and had marijiuana in the tow truck. When i confronted about driving under the influence and up charging me he became angry and physically with me. I called the shop they said they will call me back and they never did. He also threatened to impound my car and forced me to pay the up charge and was not willing to stay for the cops to come. Very unprofessional and cause more damage to my car for refusing to do it the right way which they also won't pay for.
Terrible people work here. I called and a rude lady answered then the guy that was called to jumpstart my car due to the weather had an attitude the whole time too. I Will not be callling again and I WILL be telling others not to unless you want to talk to pissy people just to get help. Horrible service.
Got in an accident had my car towed here! Was quoted 3 different prices! Went to pay and was told double of what I was quoted and the lady in there could only slam stuff down in front of me, call me a lier, roll her eyes and glare at me the whole time
Today was everyone’s worst day when your new vehicle won’t start and your just stuck. I called these Dakota and he gave me some recommendations to get my truck started while waiting for the tow. I was able to get my vehicle started and didn’t need the tow. Talk about honesty! I will definitely be calling theses guys if I ever need a tow!
Awesome, reasonable rates. Worked with me to get my car, and myself to Williston in a timely manner. Top notch communication. Flat rate. $1350. Ace towing wanted $2500 before mileage. 10/10 would recommend Dakota towing any day of the week.
The man who helped me tow my car was very nice, and did it very fast! But it's really expensive! Just took my car maybe a block uo the street and it cost me over 160 dollars!!
Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Had one car towed and wasn’t notified or saw any sticker they claim to have had on there. Then just today, at my place of work tried to tow my car away even though he didn’t check anything before. I can get checking which car is which with the key, but uh, a 2014 red impala looks nothing like a 2003 grey impala. Just saying, maybe do better looking before you hook my car up again. Definitely won’t be getting any business from my job or anything again.
It was raining pretty hard, but my person towing my company seal truck was safe and fast, extremely professional also informative.i will be definitely using them again if I ever break down. Highly recommend. P.S. thank you for not telling me this lil truck was to heavy....like the other tow companies.
My wife basically bumped into a car and her cv arm got messed up. Since I called and said the word accident it automatically made the price $200 instead of $75, even though the cops came and went, no ticket was issued, the car was moved from the street to a parking lot nearby till the tow truck came, I even called my own tow not the officer. The guy then comes and says “I’ll do it for $100” I questioned the price because I’ve been using them for years and I never paid that. He said “should have been $200”. In my opinion to tow a car less then a mile on the same street without a dolly is quite ridiculous. I will never use this company again. I also called and questioned the company on prices and they were rude and at first wouldn’t give me an answer just keep saying yup $200 for accident.

I had called them to see their price for coming out around 3:30am with -38 windchill. The lady had assumed I was calling for the two girls that are stuck in my apartment parking lot, I confirmed that is who I was calling in regards to. She had literally said that “she really didn’t want to help them” and something along the lines of having to wake up one of her workers to go and do this job. I had not at that point said we needed anyone out there, I was strictly calling out of curiosity of the cost of services.
I told her my two cents on what just came out of her mouth and said that her website says that they offer 24 hour services.
The moral of my story: lacking professionalism and this company is not upholding their statement of “Reliable Roadside Expert Assistance.”
Before anyone comes for me, understandable that you have to wake someone up at these hours to do their job. Understandable that they need a credit card before sending someone. But totally unacceptable to not separate your personal from business.
Dakota Towing always takes care of my needs from locking my keys in the car, needing a jump, or a tow. They respond quick and are always professional. The staff goes above and beyond to help out customers.
Someone needs to buy Jason over there a steak dinner. I used them twice, and he was my driver both times. Best service I've ever had with a towing company. Jason went above and beyond what he needed to do both times, and was very friendly. A plus to him and everyone at Dakota Towing. Will definately be my first call for any future towing needs.
My key fab broke off in a parking lot and I thought I needed to get towed to the dealership to get it rekeyed and programed. The tow driver showed up quickly, asked me what the problem was, I explained and showed him. He asked to step into my car with the broken fab to try something and I agreed. He started my car with the broken key and then followed me to the dealership to make sure I made it safely. I would have gladly paid the full tow fee just for his kindness, but he didn't charge me anything. Im beyond humbled and thankful for this person and dakota towing employing such good people. I'd call on them for help anytime and recommend you do the same!
