Teach the young man at the front some manners. I know I'm not alone with the attitude he displays. If you don’t like your job, young man, find a new one.
I’ve been here a couple times and have never had a good experience, I’d rather drive further to dump somewhere else. The front desk guy acted like he did me a favor by not making me come back and re-weigh because I remembered my weigh in weight, after I left “too-early” because no one was at the weigh in scale after I sat and held up the line for a couple minutes. Then I got charged $45 to dump wood, which they then corrected to $20, Wood is free in most dumps. Not great customer service either.
Do not ever consider this company. They have the worst customer service you will ever come across. The only time anyone will ever help you is to get you to become a new customer. After that good luck. We have been trying to cancel for 2 months and they will not pick up their container and continue to bill us. Good luck receiving that payment. There are other companies to try. If you do go with WM good luck. The only thing that stinks more than the garbage is this container is this company and their customer service
Local competitor charges $350 a year. WM start it out competitive but if you don't pay attention year to year they raise their prices a $100 or more a year. Every year I have to call to get a more competitive rate. One year they tried to charge me $650, and I had to call to get it back down $350.
Great mixed recycling center! There are quite a few free recycling dumpsters on the right when entering the landfill! Thank you for providing this service Bismarck!
Postponed pickup due to weather, which is understandable. But they never made it to our house until the next scheduled pickup. No adjustment was made to my billing.
Have had Waste Management for over 20 years. Like the size of the containers. They come when they say they are and when we needed a new container it was brought to us the next week.

Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with, and I’ve been put on hold for 25min before.
I was given false promises about the speedy-ness of repairs. It’s been a week and they still haven’t picked up my can, that their own workers broke.
I need to use my bin, but I can’t if you guys are severely lacking on coordination and punctuality. Cant believe we are all stuck with a garbage company like you to clean up our rubbish. Y’all suck.
It took way too long to reach a human. You have priced yourself out of the market which is why I was forced to talk to a human in order to cancel my service.
Bad service, i dont know why they didnt leave the dumpster where it belongs, and its not the first time happened, it happens twice and only happens to my dumpter not the other.
Be careful with this company!! When we signed up they are very good at NOT sharing the details of the contract that most people don't read very carefully. They only have 3 year contracts. Once you sign up you are locked in and they will not release you. The problem is three-fold 1) Their fees will go up! They will add surcharges, fuel charges... if your lid is 2 inches off the can they will charge you over fees, etc. They are very deceptive and good at "spinning" and their ultimate goal is to get your contract renewed! We caught them twice, full on lying to us on the following for our business 2) When you try and cancel they will say you cannot cancel unless you notify in writing 90 days prior to the end of the contract. If you don't notify them in writing the contract automatically renews and you are locked into a vicious cycle. However I was told we couldn't notify them of cancelation before 100 days before; so you basically have a week window you can "notify them". The other issues is they will not give you a straight answer, address or email for you to notify them in writing for the cancelation. PLEASE NOTE if you are in North Dakota the law here will not allow them to do this and you have a 30 days notice but they will lie to you and say it's their policy for 90 days. They are FULLY aware of the ND law but they will play dumb. You can legally notify them 30 days in advance if you are in ND to get out of the contract. Unfortunately we had to get legal advise in dealing with them and our business will never use them again. Unfortunately however our city has a contract with them and we cannot choose other carriers which to me also seems shady. 3) Thirdly their "recycling" program is a scam. I have been to the landfill and the "recycle" trucks go to the exact same place. WM is the largest in the country and recycling is a scam! China no longer takes any of our recyclable and there is currently no mass recycling facilities in the US.
Can y’all please empty your recycling dumpsters at the dump site more often. This is the 4th time I come by and they’re full. We are trying our part in recycling and y’all are getting in the way of that by not emptying those dumpsters enough times a week. So please empty them more and get them recycled. Do that and I’d love to give you a 5⭐
Be careful. Once you start using their services, the price will just keep going up . Their customer service is rude and condescending. Use Trans-Trash.
Bills have increased dramatically each cycle since we have had service (July 2018). Our bills have been in chronological order oldest to most recent, $168(set-up), 113,112, 114, 133, 134 134, 131, 140, 140,142,145,166, and 168 (all rounded to nearest dollar).
We have not changed service days/# of cans or had any add ons. There have been several missed pick ups, I've found it difficult to speak with somebody on the phone. I tried and it took SEVERAL phone calls, hang-ups (by them) and holding for over 30 minutes at a time just to cancel service (ironically the one thing you cannot do online) I'm still waiting for them to pick up the cans, which was scheduled for yesterday. They are still on the road, waiting. (I am not about to sit on hold again to ask why they didn't pick up) We tried to be patient for a few years, but there is a better option and we are finally going to use a different service.
Their service is horrible for any business. A massive charge even if the lid is slightly open. When you discontinue service they throw you on the back burner. This outfit honestly should be your last resort.
If i could give this company zero Stars I would they are contracted with the city of Bismarck to remove recycling and public garbage they also do roll off Dumpsters. They are not on time they overcharge the worst part is their contracted with the city of Bismarck and they treat their customers like garbage. I expect better from the people that get our tax dollars
The phone number is to their call center and WM claims they don't have anything to do with the city landfill. Customer service is very lacking i helping UNLESS you are a new customer.
They now charge to dump trees, when it used to be free. Also, they are not very clear on directions and will leave you guessing where to dump your trash. Customer service needs improvement.
They kept raising our rates and when we called to cancel, they charged $102 to come get the trash can.
I even told them I would deliver can to their front door & was told I was still going to be charged. Crooks!!! Do NOT get their service! This is how they treat good paying customers who have had their service for 10 years. They don't even deserve the one star that I gave them. We now have Armstrong Sanitation, which is local, and so far, they are wonderful.
Was a customer of a competitor that sold out to Waste Management. These first three months have been terrible. Schedule is always changing, they do not always empty receptacles, and customer service is truly aweful.
