Stranded in -10 degree temperatures I decided to give AAA a call. Been paying for the coverage but hadn’t yet used it. After 2:15 hrs of waiting, AAA called to inquire about the vehicle and upon learning it had oversized tires, they said AAA would not cover the tow. I called Gille Auto and they were on site within 15 minutes. Excellent service. Good price.
made reservation to pick up a u haul truck, spoke to a woman 3 times before going into the establishment. Upon arrival to pick the u haul up, the very same woman i spoke to denied speaking to me (i have our conversation recorded)also stated that "we don't have trucks to rent." I was warned about doing buisness with Gilles Auto.
In the process of moving across the country our fully loaded trailer started making some loud noises and the wheel hub got really hot. We showed up at opening and they were so kind! Phenomenal customer service, we were in and out quickly with amazing prices. I cannot thank them enough!
Great place to work with, needed a transfer case, they had one. Had it in the shop ready to pickup. Took all of 5 minutes. Transfer case was cleaner than expected, installed over the weekend and works great.
I was looking for a driver's door module for my town car and I try different places and got wrong part or didn't work. Had a nasty blow-out on a holiday weekend and was above my abilities to do it myself. Gille Auto roadside was able to help very quickly and get me back on the road. I didn't catch the dude's name, but he did a very thorough job, including filing some of the corrosion off around the wheel, lubricating the bolts, torquing the inner wheel on first (we have a dualie).
Huge kudos to the company and that dude in particular. 5 stars.
My wife and daughter were driving across the country and had white splatter in their engine bay. Being 1000 miles away I couldn’t do anything but could only guess it was coolant and a possible water pump or hose issue. I called Gille Auto (based on these reviews) and they told me to have her come by and they’d get on it right away, but a water pump would be a day or two (no pump for her Prius in town). My wife said she drove in, popped the hood, and they came out and wiped up some of the splatter with his fingers. Felt it, and asked if they’d hit some big puddles. They had driven through Glacier National Park in the rain the day before. He said it was mud, not coolant. Coolant levels were fine. No leaks. He walked away and refused payment.
I can’t tell you how much of a kind act this was. The honesty, consideration, and quick response was a huge blessing for us. Thank you!
These folks saved our butts, I was driving a truck from the east coast out west and the lower ball joint failed. They showed up within 20 mins to tow us and had the truck back on the road early the next morning. They were very friendly people that went above and beyond for us. Thanks a ton!

Don't buy an engine from here! I bought one with a 105,000 miles spent a lot of money on a business to put it in and to be told the engine is no good. So I wasted 450 on a engine that is absolutely no good and the price of labor for a mechanic to put it in! That's what they sell people.
Every part I have purchased from them has worked great. I have gotten a transmission and a drive shaft recently and have no issues. And the pricing is fair. They know what part to look for even when the dealers beat around the Bush. Thanks guys.
I stopped by there yesterday to have a couple of trailers stacked for me to haul back to Canada. They're very polite, very professional, and very efficient. I was very happy with the work they did for me. I highly recommend dealing with them!
I rented a u-haul car trailer from here. The lady up front was very nice. Was cheaper here to rent the trailer than other places. Not sure why but it worked out in my favor.
When we broke down in eastern North Dakota, we are glad that we found Gille Auto. Our tow truck driver Jeff was quick and extremely helpful. The repairs to our vehicle were done quickly, professionally, and at fair price. All of the employees at Gille Auto were a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them.
Had an emergency oil leak right before a road trip. They took the car in instantly and had it fixed before lunch the next morning. (Would have been sooner but parts had to be ordered) Friendly and fast.
Nothing but good to say..i called for a part (radiator) in the previous afternoon, they said they would check it out, found one, i called next morning (today) and was told it was ready for picking up...very nice to do business with...will be my first place to call for parts..guaranteed....i will drive the extra mile for such good service and friendly people to deal with..

Amazing service! I got a flat tire about ten miles out of valley city, they were the only shop out of a few claiming to be open who answered- tow truck was there to get my car back to the shop in a very timely manner, and they went above and beyond to get me a tire and back on the road quickly- all in just an hour. I would highly recommend them and plan to return for future tire repairs thank you again for saving the day!
It took a little while for the heavy duty wrecker to arrive at my location because the driver was at an accident scene as a first responder, and had to go to the shop to get the truck and then out to get me. Once he arrived, he was right on top of things. He hooked up and moved my rig a couple miles down the road (with my engine running and the transmission in neutral) to a safe location to drop the driveshaft. Once that was completed, he towed my rig to a Petro service garage approx 60 miles away and got me there in time to make the repair arrangements before the shop closed at 6 on a Sunday. He did all of this in the rain. He was friendly and professional. I would use the company again if in the area and in need of towing.
I saw they had a part I needed via their online inventory, so I made the trek from Minneapolis all the way up. I'm happy to report the part was as advertised and they gave me a fair price for it too! Super friendly people - I'd be happy to work with them again!

I had to keep changing my reservations with U-Haul and the lady who handles the U-haul business at Gille had to work long and hard to straighten out everything that Corporate screwed up. She also got me a better deal then I had on-line . Anytime I need a U-haul in the area they are my go to store. I can not say enough about the customer service

(that they were sorry but they had not another piece to replace it, also they would not return the money) so I loose $179.00 Dllrs... I think it is not a serious business and responsable
