This company seems to have mostly good reviews on here but here is a little of my families experience with them.. These people are very rude and have zero sympathy for anyone! My mother was in a car accident and they wouldn't allow me or my father to get any of her belongings out of her car without payment first by belongings I mean wallet with insurance card ID etc and cell phone. They also told my father she had to be the one to get her belongings mind you she was in ICU with 26 broken bones! Seems to me that this company is just money hungry! Mind you the company my father worked for 30 years closed down so he had been out of work, 2 weeks before my mother's accident my husband had a horrible accident and almost cut his pinky off while working and we were having to drive back and forth to winston to be with my mother in ICU and take care of my husband and son it wasn't like we had just extra money laying around at that very moment.. I even called the local sheriffs department and talked with several of them and they even said they didn't understand why they were acting in such way. Also my mother left a review on here as well and they replied with an absolute lie saying "she was drunk or high and left the scene of an accident at McDonald's" but sounds to me as if they have memory issues or a substance problem she was no where around McDonald's i will add a photo for proof. But even if it were true they could face legal consequences for sharing such information.. We wasn't asking for "hand outs" we were asking for grace. How they responded to my mother's review shows their true colors and speaks volumes.

Once again this company is lying about the events of what lead up to my mother's accident! Like I mentioned above they can face legal consequences if it were true! And this speaks major volumes, I guess they can't handle a bad review.....
These people are very unkind, especially The man who runs the place.

We broke down on the side of the highway, with kids.. it was scary. I called Zach's and got Terry.. I was not from town but Terry figured out exactly where I was.. he was close!! Within 10 minutes we saw a tow truck going the other way down the highway honking.. my kids were waving, we were going to be saved ..
Terry was so helpful too!! He actually knew what was wrong with my car before the mechanics.. very knowledgeable, kind, and good person!!

I think my tire exploded!!! He let me drive my van up on the flatbed and it left a trail of what looked like soot LOL. OMG with nerves a little frazzled it was great to be greeted with someone so calm and reassuring. Thanks Zack for getting me to the tire place and being so fast heeeeheh.... Jes saying... my tire went boom.
My daughter’s car broke down on 77 northbound on her way back to Tennessee. These guys went and got her car and took it to a tire shop for me. The customer service was outstanding. The sweetest guy even When I called him at 1 AM and woke him up!
Zacks towing to the rescue. My truck lost its alternator on 77 south in a dangerous curve of the highway. We had no lights and flashers. It was a dangerous situation. Terry answered the phone quickly and dropped what he was doing and arrived quickly. He was professional and treated the situation with the seriousness it deserved. He got us off the highway and towed our truck and trailer to a mechanic that he recommended. He even called and explained the situation. He took us to a hotel and said the mechanic would have the part first thing in the morning. Man, what service. This guy really gave a darn. If you break down, this is the guy to call. Thank you Terry
Saturday 3-29-25 @ about 3:52 pm we blew a tire on our toy hauler on I-77 at mile marker 78. Looked up road side service and found Zack's Towing. Gave him a call and he came right out, changed our tire, and had us back on the road very quickly. Super nice guy and very reasonable. Thank you for your quick response and excellent service.
Zack's Towing did a great job and was very professional. My wifes car had partly gone down an embankment and was stopped against a tree. We called other tow companies, and they were either busy or said they weren't equipped to do the job. We were afraid it would get damaged being pulled out, but Zacks was able to get it out without damaging the car. I'm very happy with their work.

Called Zack's towing at dawn as I'm sitting on the side of the road, engine was starting to overheat. Terry showed up super fast! Towed my Jetta back to their shop. He even helped me deduce what was wrong(fortunately it was something stupid and easy) and had me back on the road in 30 minutes. If you are in the area and need a tow, call Zack's towing first. Hands down the best tow service I've ever used, and Ive used a lot over the years. A+ 6 stars if I could!
We had a blow out on 421 S 10/5. Zack was there in 20 minutes to get us loaded up and delivered to Elkin to a tire shop. Excellent experience for a stressful day. Super, super nice guy. Should be wearing a superhero cape!

You don’t need to search any further. Terry from Zach’s Towing was so helpful, honest and knows what he's doing. My family and I were out of town at a VRBO home for son's wedding when our F250 wouldn’t crank. After having to wait 9 hours to find out Triple A couldn’t even locate a tow that could handle the size of my 250 crew cab truck, we called Zack’s. We had no clue where to even ask him to take my truck since it was the weekend and we couldn’t talked to any mechanics with everyone closed. Terry talked to us about the issue we were having and recommended someone, called them for us (since he knew the owner) to confirm we could bring it, and was loading our truck on his fully capable roll back within 30 minutes. I felt completely comfortable leaving my truck in Terry’s hands and heading back to South Carolina (3 1/2 hours away). He was an answer to our prayers and I’m so grateful for his help in a very stressful situation.
I’d highly recommend Zack’s Towing. I was having issues with my car and took it to several mechanics before I got it into Zack’s. Zack’s Towing took the time to help properly troubleshoot my vehicle and fixed the muffler issue for a fair price. Highly recommend Zack’s Towing!!! Today we broke down pulling our 5th Wheel camper back home to Charlotte, NC. Called Zack’s Towing and Terry came to tow our truck and had a friend of his come and tow our camper to his shop as well. While waiting at his shop for about 2 hours waiting for our ride back to Charlotte - we felt just like family.
